Summary

“Captain,” Eurylochus says, and Odysseus stumbles backwards onto the ground, chest constricting as his breathing begins to become erratic. The man's face doesn't form fully, a vague silhouette of someone he once vowed to protect stepping towards him.

A shadow passes over the omega’s face as he reflects on his own selfishness, wondering when Jeongguk’s platonic promises from childhood started causing more pain than comfort.
