Summary
Xaden Riorson had been a constant in Violet’s life ever since Brennan brought him home to play when they were seven. He was her brother’s best friend, perpetually pulling her braids and shooting her dolls up into the air attached to bottle rockets. And yet, Violet had fallen in love with him. She never believed he’d ever see her as anything other than his best friend’s little sister, until he kissed her before she left for college.
But then he didn’t call. And at Brennan’s funeral he sat in the back with his head down and lips sealed—not saying a single word.
So she evaporated him from her heart. She made herself forget. She left home for a new life away from the ghosts that haunt her. But when she starts at Aretian Law as a seond year associate her plans are thrown out the window when the dark haired man with gold flecked onyx eyes walks into the conference room wearing a stone cold expression on the face that used to wear a toothless smile.

Summary
Five years ago, Xaden Riorson broke Violet's heart as she recovered in a hospital bed. And for five years since then, she's been successful in ignoring the half-completed soulbond relic on her back, living a relatively normal life in New York as the only signet-less member of the supernatural-hunting Sorrengail family.
Unfortunately for her, with her sister's disappearance, she's also the last Sorrengail capable of renewing the treaty keeping the supernatural world separate from the mortal one. With Violet's life — and the Treaty's renewal — at risk, she finds herself forced into a duty and marriage she doesn't want. She is determined to fight against the pull of the bond between their souls and keep Xaden at arms' length, but his inexplicable behavior quickly has her suspecting that there was far more to the day that shattered her family and their relationship than she could have possibly guessed.
or
second chance romance/soulmates AU where violet is a supernatural hunter without powers, xaden is an angel, and they've been reunited five years after their break up because of an arranged marriage that is forcing them to complete their soulbond.

Summary
“Archeron,” he says, when he’s close enough to count each individual hair in the fan of dark lashes. She goes still in that particular, feline way, gaze lifting to his like it’s unspooling from a reel. The slow recognition in her eyes does something ugly and sweet to him.
“Hello Cassian,” she says, dry.
“You look—” He stops. Beautiful is a word that feels to intimate. Too much like everything they’re not. “—like you’re on the hunt.”
“I could say the same about you.” Her mouth tips.
The music makes the floor vibrate under his boots. He’s aware of his hand—of the ring. Of his entire body thrumming. “Can I buy your next one?”
“You can,” she says, considering him over the rim of her glass, “but I may refuse to drink it.”
“Sounds a bit bratty, Nesta.”
She hums. “What ever will you do about that?”
____
When Cassian lets his family convince him that Nesta isn’t the right woman for him, he marries his safe choice. But cutting Nesta out of his life proves more difficult than he thought.
Nesta promised herself she’d never become that woman. But letting go of the love of her life appears to be impossible. Until she meets someone with auburn hair and amber eyes.
