Jack didn't like the sound of someone being hurt. So he didn't cared or stopped to think about the rules on how to act around civilization; Jack immediately pushed off the ground, the force of his jump cracking the fleshy earth beneath him as he soared into the dark sky.
High up in the air, suspended by nothing but a mean, cold pressure that smelled like old blood and lightning, was a little girl with blonde hair.
Jack felt a surge of protective heat in his chest because he knew what it was like to be small and scared of things you couldn't see, and he knew that family were supposed to keep you safe. He shoved his hands forward, imagining he was pushing a heavy, rusted door, and he felt the cold power snap and hiss as his own warmth overwhelmed it.

Jack Kline only wished to do good. He wanted to bring Mary back from Apocalypse World and prove to Dean, Sam, and the world that he can be the hero Cas believes he is. But, instead of opening a door to the Apocalypse World, he opens a door to a different dimension called the Upside Down.

Summary
As Crowley shifted gears, the Bentley slid to a stop so smooth it felt unreal. He turned to grin at the brothers over his shoulder.
“See? Wasn’t so bad,” Crowley said, all smug satisfaction as he killed the engine.
Sam was gripping the door handle like it was a lifeline. His hair was sticking up in three different directions, and his eyes were the wide, hollow kind of haunted. Dean didn’t look much better — he blinked a few times, checked that he still had all his limbs, then let out a shaky breath.
“Not so bad?” Dean’s voice cracked halfway through. “You call that a drive?? I’ve fought ghosts that were less terrifying!”
Crowley stretched lazily, looking immensely pleased with himself. “You survived. Bit of excitement never killed anyone.”
Sam groaned. “You nearly proved that wrong.”

Sam and Dean try to summon Crowley... but get the wrong demon. Instead, they get an English Dracula knock-off, who apparently know Castiel a lot more than any regular demon should.
