Summary
“That’s it,” Eddie said sternly, turning the lid on the tube and pulling it off. He squeezed the tube from the bottom, dotting a pea sized amount on his finger. “Open up.”
Buck’s eyes widened. “Excuse me?”
“Open. Up.” Eddie repeated, stressing each word.
OR; Buck has a toothache. Eddie takes care of it, and then Eddie gets taken care of - in more ways than one.

Summary
The thing is, Buck knows the universe is vast, cold, can’t possibly have personal vendettas. But he’s back here for the fifth time, pinned to his seat, shirt slick with blood and head fuzzy from blood loss. And he twists his neck, his gaze clinging to Eddie, whose blood is pooling on the car seat, leg bent at a grotesque angle, lips trembling. And for the fifth time, he watches with a brief shudder, as Eddie slips from wakefulness into inhuman stillness.
It’s starting to feel awfully personal.
Buck’s always the one being left. And now he gets to see Eddie leaving. Over and over and over.
Or; Buck is in a time loop. The car always crashes. Eddie always dies.

Summary
“On the other side of this,” Eddie whispers. “Maybe we can try it.”
“Hm, okay,” Buck hums, apparently awake, but barely. “What are we tryin’?”
“I know now isn’t the right time. I’m not - - we’re not ready. But this next bit isn’t going to be pretty. It’s going to be hard. And I need you to know, so you have something to hold on to. So that I don’t forget what it feels like. What it felt like. We could - - we could try.”
Or, after the kidnapping, Buck goes through it. Eddie goes through it with him.

Summary
Eddie ignores Buck’s protests. He finally finds a position that is somewhat comfortable in the armchair and closes his eyes. “Go to sleep, Buck,” he mumbles.
Giving up the fight, Buck huffs. He turns around in the bed and faces his back to Eddie. Eddie can’t help but peek an eye open to watch how Buck’s shoulders move with every uneasy breath he takes. He’s still shaking slightly, despite the mountains of blankets upon him. Eddie’s stare is unwavering, fearing that if he looks away, Buck could disappear.
The room settles into silence, only broken by the muffled sounds of their friends down the hallway and the harshness of Buck writhing in the bed. After what must be only a couple of minutes, Buck speaks again.
“Can you…” he begins, but trails off. “Never mind.”
“Buck, you can ask me for anything. You know that.”
Buck hesitates, but eventually he turns over his shoulder to ask in a faint voice, “Can you hold me?”
OR: Three times Eddie sat by Buck’s bedside, and the one time it was their bed.

Summary
Buck finally sees him, his pupils blown wide, his lips red from sucking on Buck’s neck. “Fuck, I don’t know what I need. I feel insane right now. I just need to see, you know? I need proof of the blood pumping underneath your skin.”
“And you decided a hickey was the only way to do that?” Buck laughs, a tad hysterical. Eddie responds by pressing his finger against the hickey beginning to form on his neck. Buck hisses at the touch and, in the dim light, Eddie’s eyes seem to get even darker. Hungrier.
Buck is so fucked.
Or, Eddie becomes obsessed with checking Buck's pulse after New Mexico. It quickly escalates, when checking with his hands isn't enough anymore.
