(P.S) This is my first fic, I will put a warning, I probably will not make the characters act as canon as I want. Constructive criticism will definitely be needed, and honestly I wanted more winged Rudo fics so I just wanted to have fun and write something :) also I am shit at naming stuff so suggestions for these are needed and will be credited in notes or summary - if you want to be - I hope I do not sound arrogant anyway this will probably be bad

Summary
Driven by strategic curiosity and the need to understand the unique biological and spiritual traits of the Givers, the Hellguards organize an official (or rather, very tense) visit to the Cleaners' base. They are required to stay there indefinitely to more comfortably study how the Cleaners work with their Jinkis and as a team, hoping to learn from them.
English isn't my first language, but I know that more people in this part of the fandom might read this, lol. I'd also like to mention that this fanfic will feature a more maternal Zanka. Similarly, I'd like to say that Rudo sees Zanka as his "big brother" and Enjin as his second father.

"I am going to make sure you will." she promised. "That's different from okay right now. But it's what matters. It's going to be okay."
Coco leaned into her and decided that was a good enough answer.

Summary
Without Regto, there was no one to keep Rudo out of trouble. At age nine, he's sent to the Pit for stealing and trespassing. Instead of falling into no man's land, Rudo is found by the Hell Guard near the Kamuatari District. Zanka was born with a bone missing in his right leg, disabling him for life. All he wants to do is prove to people that he's still worth something, even if he has a hard enough time believing it himself. He befriends a retired soldier who teaches him how to fight, but he knows it'll never be enough. Especially when he can't function without his staff to lean on. The last thing he expects is for the mysterious (and possibly feral) Spherite kid to imprint on him like a baby duckling, following him everywhere and drawing way too much attention to the both of them. Together they navigate challenges in a world that insists on underestimating them all while trying to figure out where they belong in it.
