Summary
Hitoshi lives in a group home and has been faced with paranoia and distrust by those around him since he was a child. After receiving OfA, he takes the opportunity to hide his brainwashing quirk, go to UA, and make some friends. In the process he imprints on his homeroom teacher like a baby duck, yells at a bunch of villains, gets a boyfriend, and learns that people can sometimes be good actually.
Hitoshi just wanted to be a hero. Now he has even more problems.

Summary
Shane first meets Ilya the winter of 07'. The omega is 16 years old, just like him, and already mated. There's a fucking dog collar around his neck.
He's the best hockey player Shane has ever met. He beats Shane, at the most important competition of his life, and then disappears into the black hole of omega abuse that is the Russian system for the next eight and a half years.
Then, the 2014 Olympics happen. Then, overnight, the world is faced with the talent that is Ilya Rozanov, and becomes conveniently so much more open to the idea of omegas in sports.
The Metros become more open to it. They become open to the idea, too, of pairing a newly-out Shane with the most socially acceptable secondary gender for him to be mated to, if he's going to insist on being gay.
It's not Shane who buys out the remainder of Rozanov's contract, but it is Shane who picks him up from the airport, and who's expected to mate him before the summer is up.
Shane agrees to go through with it, because Rozanov agrees, and he wants to help Rozanov get the fuck out of Russia. He's wanted to help the omega get out of Russia since he was 16 years old- but neither of them are the same people anymore.

Summary
As his body burns, Jinu gives his soul to Rumi. She accepts it and uses its power to strike back at Gwi-Ma.
In the days that follow, Mira and Zoey navigate Rumi’s occasional abnormal behavior, with signs initially pointing towards the cause being grief and leftover stress from the Idol Awards. It’s the answer that makes the most sense, until things start to not line up.
The real answer is a little more complicated: Rumi never let Jinu’s soul go, causing it to intertwine with her own. On occasion, wires get crossed. Rumi remembers things she never experienced, or Jinu will unknowingly take control but struggle with his identity in a body that isn’t his. The lines between their identities blur, but once they realize the issue, Mira and Zoey are determined to find out how to fix it.
Things get a little more complicated when the Saja Boys get involved, but they’re not the only ones looking for them.
Not to mention, when two souls are as tangled together as Rumi and Jinu’s are, separating them proves to be a unique challenge.
(Or Rumi and Jinu accidentally get stuck body-sharing, seeing a whole new side of each other in the process, as well as those around them.)
