Summary
"He wanted to give back. He wanted Coyote to know that he knew Coyote as well as Coyote knew him. It wouldn’t end up like his failed attempt at a chase. He knew Coyote liked food, and so he’d get Coyote the best food he could find."
It would have been easy, and it would have been perfect. If not for the rabbit.

Summary
There are some things that you just don't mention. Like how Roy's hair always flattens by the end of the day, or how Breda's shirt is a size too small.
Or how Edward Elric began to copy Roy Mustang's habits. Small, insignificant things, but habits nonetheless.
And you certainly don't mention how adorable that is.(Ed unknowingly picks up some of Roy's habits. He doesn't notice. Roy does.)

Summary
The captors knew they needed to move now but carrying two Alchemists at once? That would probably be their death sentence. Killing one of them meant losing intel they could have get but it was a risk they had to take.
And Mustang as the older, more capable, more experienced one was the easy choice to get rid of.
Edward disagrees.

Summary
Ringed wrists suddenly wrapped around the blue hedgehog’s back, and his fingers grasped onto his cotton shirt, holding him hastily on top of him.
Shadow didn’t quite know why he did it, but both of them were frozen now, Sonic panting wildly in the dark, and Shadow’s coarse gloves tightened around his shirt, straining the fabric.
“Capt-”
“You’re afraid,” he interrupted, voice cutting through the swarming turmoil outside, and the barrage of noise inside his head, stuttering the panic like a whip of a rope.
