Brown eyes squint, distrust deep within them. “I’ve no wish to be part of your games.”
“No game,” he says. Could the boy be so stupid?
“Liar. You’ve already been freed of me. Let that be enough.”
Or; the betrothal brokered between Aemond and Lucerys after the events of Driftmark is broken, and both are encouraged to look elsewhere. Aemond was promised the boy as recompense for his eye, and he will not give up so easily.

This is Aemond's fault. It is.
His hand unconsciously goes to one of his breasts. They are a bit sore, indeed, just like when Lucerys is about to get his moon blood—but so are they full of teeth marks. He thought it was just the consequence of having a young, healthy Alpha at his prime for a husband.
Lucerys’ catches Aemond's eye on his hand and drops it instantly, face glowing red. “Yes.”
“I see.” The Maester only nods again.

As Aemond watches, one of the men's attention goes toward Lucerys. He nudges the others, and one by one, they all turn and stare.
Aemond's fist curls.
When the second horn blows, he stands.

Aemond fights. Aemond loses. Dragged before his half-sister he has a choice: death or servitude. He will never bow to her, no matter the consequences.
He doesn't expect Lucerys Velaryon to try and change his mind. But then, he never expects Luke.

Luke smiles. “I thought you would say that. So I have not come alone, Uncle.”
His hands rise and cup around the loose fabric of his tunic, of his robe. Only it is not that, Aemond suddenly realises, as Luke parts the fabric. His belly is thick and swollen, curved outward, dark lines going down from the navel.
“Will you not have us? Or them, at the least?”

It seems that near enough every day, a new tale comes whispered of Lucerys Velaryon.
They say that he drowned beneath the waters of Shipbreaker Bay, that what arose from the waves was only the shade of the boy that fell from dragonback.
They say that he struck a bargain with the Stranger or worse god yet to live again, that any life reaped by him and his dragon forms some terrible payment to cheat death over and over.
They say that his dragon is no child of Valyria at all, but a demon from the seven hells, one that sees human and dragon alike only as carrion for the feed.
Aemond scorns each and every story for the absurdities that they are. Luke is as he always has been - a greedy, grasping bastard, bent on his ruin. No ghost, god or dragon could alter that.

Corlys gestured to the sellsword. "Remove your helm and give us your name. I'd like to properly thank the person responsible for saving my heir tonight."
All eyes were on the sellsword. Lucerys's as well. His breath was short and he was trembling in the same way he had when he nearly fell off the ledge tonight.
A low humming sound came from the sellsword. He lifted his hands, moving too slowly in Lucerys's opinion, and lifted the helm from his head an inch at a time.
Lucerys knew. As soon as he saw the scar emerge on the sellsword's cheek. He knew when the sapphire gem was revealed, cool and deadly, to make a pair with the lavender eye staring straight at Lucerys. He knew when the helm was fully off and long silver hair tumbled down the sellsword’s shoulders.
Aemond Targaryen stood in front of the Driftwood Throne. Lucerys’s savior.
