Summary
When Ryland Grace is sent (against his will) into Interstellar space, he leaves behind a collection of devastated family members, friends, and students.
Colt Seavers, his twin brother (who'd he'd grown distant from following a harsh, cruelly-worded argument in the wake of his accident)
Courtland Gentry (or, unbeknownst to Ryland, Sierra Six), his eldest brother, who'd been arrested for killing their father when Ryland was eight (and leaving him and Colt to the system).
Makayla 'Mickey' Weathers, a student of his whom he had inadvertently saved from suicide.
And Nora Kimbers, a fellow scientist who'd worked with him, and sort-of befriended, on Project Hail Mary (Nora Kimbers, who had also watched in horror as her friend had been chased down and tranquilized before being put onto the Hail Mary against his will).

Summary
All Cody wanted from the Jedi was a competent, fair general; so that he could focus on keeping his men safe, and maybe trying to live up to the name Jango Fett had bestowed on him.
Nothing could have prepared him for Kenobi save for the experience itself: crashing across the galaxy, from caf-and-stims-fueled battlefield highs down to heady fluorescent ship-side lows.
But then, he supposes, this war had a habit of exceeding his expectations, in all the best and worst ways. This is that story through Cody's eyes.

Somehow heartwarming and heartwrenching at the same time- this fic has all the Codywan feels. Not to mention- the characterizations are on point. I love love love love the way Mandalorian culture was interpreted with this.

He might be crying, too. He buries his face in her shoulder to hide it. She smells like the ocean.When the Chain is portalled into Warriors' era, Legend reunites with an old friend. He then has several crises, writes some letters, and learns how to trust reality.
