The second time Voldemort strikes Harry Potter with the Killing Curse, it fails in a new way.
This time, instead of ending a life, it creates one.
—The eyes are Harry’s, obviously. The texture, the wildness of the jet-black hair, that’s Harry’s, too. A trait from Lily, a trait from James.
But the rest… The shape of the face, the nose, the mouth… The more Harry looks at the boy’s sleeping face, the more he sees Tom Riddle in miniature.

As soon as Voldemort apparated away, Harry could tell. Nagini could too, he knew it in how she began to coil more firmly around his body.
Remus seemed to steel himself. “Harry, Harry now is our chance, we can-”
Nagini let out a loud hiss, neck arching into a powerful S-shape as she anchored herself on Harry, and he winced. She was heavy, and her coils were tight. He knew she meant to be protective, but… “Nagini, you’re hurting me,” He told her softly, lifting his hand that wasn’t trapped beneath the heavy snake to run down her back. “I’m not going to go with him, but please-”
He couldn’t even look at Remus, terrified that the man would have a disgusted expression on his face, shock and horror evolving into hate - he’d seen it hundreds of times before.
(Harry works on a revolution. Voldemort patches his broken heart.)

Summary
"I love you," Voldemort whispered with his mouth against Harry's forehead. “I’m sorry, I’m trying, I’ll be better, I… I love you.”
He lowered his head, intent to kiss him. Harry almost let him, wanting nothing more than to feel his lips one last time before falling asleep, but he stopped him at the last moment.
“Wait.”
He drew in a deep breath. He rubbed his wrists where the shackles no longer were, bare and exposed skin, his magic free.
“I… have to tell you something.”
(an alternative ending to Hauntingly, picking up at the end of chapter 46)

Summary
The man towers over him, his breath tasting of coldness and fury. Harry had always known that there had to have been a significant reason, why the hat had sorted him into Gryffindor over any other House. He finds, once more, that inexplicable urge to do something recklessly, utterly stupid. High from the power he so rarely wields when confronted with this man, he taunts, “Come on, Tom. Let’s finish this the way we started!” He grips the older wizard close, sees the belated outrage.
This, certainly, qualifies as reckless stupidity.
But, he thinks, it might also just be strikingly poetic. “Together!” He shouts and jumps off the building.
‘Great!’ thinks Death. ‘Excellent opportunity.’This is the story of Death entrapping Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort in a series of reincarnations to undo the chaos the two of them have collectively caused. It’s a story of how two adversaries tangled in fate are forced to learn about themselves and through that, about the other; of them trying to work together for a change - if only, to pursue their individual goals.
