“Lex is making me go with him to Gotham,” – was probably not the best way for Kon to start his conversation with Red Robin on that fine afternoon in the Tower. His Robin paused, before he looked up at the floating half-Kryptonian from where he was solving random case-files that most detectives hadn’t been able to crack for decades, probably. Rob was crazy like that - not like Kon was complaining, Rob’s brain was probably one of Kon’s favourite things about him.
(Alongside his hair. And hands. And waist. And–)
Or: Kon goes to Gotham. Tim knows that Kon is Superboy, Kon doesn't know that Red Robin is Tim.
This could only go well for the two of them, right?

“You can’t keep doing things like that!” he hears Jon exclaim angrily only a second before he can say those same exact words to Tim and they both turn in time to see the other two land on the same roof.
A quick look confirms that besides their evident angry looks, both of them are unscratched.
“I do not take orders from you, Superboy,” Robin says coldly and Kon almost rolls his eyes at Tim’s younger brother’s words. He has heard similar versions of the same statement from Tim before.
Tim and Damian may not be related by blood, but they sure as hell share more traits than they both would like to admit. Kon values his life enough to keep his mouth shut, thank you very much.
