Summary
The Knights of Camelot love Merlin almost as much as Arthur does, until the Lamia weaves her way into their minds. After she's finally gone, they don't understand at first why Merlin isn't talking (and it scares them).
But the most worried and confused person in the mix is the King himself, who has a completely non-secret soft spot for his idiot servant. -

Summary
Arthur’s love for Merlin knows no end and no logic. So, while to others it may have seemed foolish to set aside his kingdom, his birthright, his very destiny, it was a simple exchange for him. Merlin’s life would always ALWAYS be worth his crown, no matter what need it has of him.
Or the one where Arthur runs away with Merlin to live a destiny-free life on that farm. But since when has destiny ever given up a good chase?
