Summary
Just when things were finally looking up, they have taken an unfortunate and unforeseen turn for the worse. Played like a puppet, abandoned to die, separated from remaining allies, deprived of weapons, and grievously injured with a fragile psyche, where is there left to turn? Who can be trusted now?
The only way to go is deeper into the hell that has snuffed out lives, morals, and innocence like candles in the wind. To make matters worse, the devil that dwells there is on the prowl like a wolf stalking scattered sheep. And the farther you go, the more you learn just how forsaken morality really was for unattainable goals and audacious desires.

Summary
Playtime Co. used to be the gold standard when it came to what a toy company should be. Every product was a hit, every side venture went somewhere, and it had a positive name in every home.
Fast forward to 1995 and there’s seemingly a new lawsuit every week, their stock prices have plummeted, they’re getting beaten out by rival toy companies, and the media is theorizing about them.
Open on a teenage boy who’s just working on the factory floor just to get through High School. Until one day he takes a sick day, and the next thing he knows there are army vehicles outside Playtime Co. the next day.
Fast forward ten years and he gets a mysterious letter telling him to come back to the factory, but only one thing is on his mind when he gets said letter…”I never got my last paycheck!”

(Inspired heavily by a everyone lives poppy time fic that i love ( cough cough Poppy Worldwide: SALVATION ROUTE by Mizpa) and concepts from dp/dc crossover fanfics)
After Issac (current place holder name for the player) had made it out of the factory, saving everyone and bringing them home to his place ( Don't ask how, haven't thought of it yet 😅), and figuring out things with harley, he had completely forgotten about the DNA test he did to try and find his bio father. The batfam on the other is very concerned and confused about the new DNA match Bruce has to a person who had gone missing for three (or four weeks, haven't decided yet) and got married to someone four months later, that had been missing for close to ten years.
(This idea has been stuck in my head for weeks, also my grammar is shit and I know everything i know about dc from other famfics) -

Essentially my idea of the aftermath of the solstice run, and my interprations of characters.
The Player deals with Depression, not fully caused by the completion of OneShot, and feels as if life has no purpose. They find they relate a bit more to the world machine then they first believed, and slow burn friendship develops.
The Player is not my self insert, although some behaviors might be inspired by observed behaviors of others or behvaiors of my own. -

WIP project, so titles and tags will be updated as I figure this story out. Uploads will be generally one every 2-3 weeks around the first half of the week (I can't keep on a schedule apparently so take this with a whole gallon of salt).
