“All of them,” Ivan corrects.
“Thank you,” Till replies, face warming up. “I—I don’t really know what else to say, I’ve never had fans before.”
“You do have fans, you just ignore them.” Ivan is still smiling at him, his face impossible to read. “But that’s okay, I’m sure none of your other fans love you the way I do. After all, I’m your biggest, most loyal fan.”
Somehow, Till has the distinct feeling that Ivan isn't even exaggerating.
OR: The one where Till is a bassist in a small rock band who has a not-so-low-key crush on his best friend, Mizi, and is just trying his best to get by in this hellscape called life, but gets irrevocably entangled in Ivan's web instead.

There was no one else there except for him, but Luka knew that he would be able to recognize him in a crowd. The neat uniform, red tie violating the dress code that no one dared to point out for whatever reason, jet-black hair spilling in straight shards over his forehead and eyes. His eyes were dark, impossibly so, with bright red pupils that looked like bloodthirst incarnate, a threat more than a warning. Or maybe Luka just villainized him a little bit more than he should. But those eyes looked at him with unbearable contempt and Ivan flicked a sculpted eyebrow, maybe still expecting a reply.
No, Luka would never not recognize him. Even among a hundred crowds. Because never in his whole life had he wanted to punch the smile off of someone's face this bad.

What is love? No really. What is it? Definitely not whatever the hell was going on here! Love is definitely not this weirdly tense relationship between Ivan and Till. At least not to Till. Are they Best friends? Enemies? Acquaintances? Frenemies? Fuck Bu- No. Exs? A very close friendship that became distant because one loser developed feelings for the other and chose to distance himself leaving the other in a confused and guilt ridden state? And they chose to just be friends again after a few years of nonsensical bickering and unresolved emotions being ignored rather than to actually communicate? Ehhhhhh Maybe.

The way this ugly ass man is yelling at him, you'd think Till is apart of the police force and they're after a wanted criminal. But Till never got his degree in anything useful so obviously that's not that the case.
No, you see Till works at a book shop. Yep you heard right, hold the applause. Till's been working at Sweet Dreams library and café for about two years. His multi-thousand dollar music degree has earned him a job at a mediocre book store that's attached to a slightly less mediocre coffee shop, and this man lecturing him like a drill sergeant is actually just his manager.
Or: Till just wants to do his job but his boss makes him kick some guy out. He just so happens to be in the same aisles as him everyday. What a coincidence.
