But as time went on, he slowly starts to realize that he doesn't need to let his past define him; that he can and should let people into his life instead of pushing them away.
Because there are people in his life who wish for him to stay in their lives. And Vaughn sees a future for once that isn't one where he's alone. It's a future he's willing to do anything to keep.
