Other than the first installment, I never felt my earlier series "The Headline Award Adventures" did justice to the head cannon I had created for it. It (mostly) did it's job, which was to announce news of the Headline Awards without violating the rules of a forum that allows only fiction to be posted, but there was so much more I had meant to say. With the recent passing of the incomparable Anthony Stewart Head, I thought it was well past time to begin to rectify that. This first work, "Godless" will be mostly familiar though put together a little differently than the works it is largely taken from. As the series continues we will quickly start to see more new material. I have not included The Head Award for Father of the Year in this series, which is meant to be read as an alternate sequel to that work, the director's cut if you like, of the rest of the Headline Award Adventures. Unlike the previous series, there will be no fourth wall breaking references to events in our world, only the the in-universe confluence of words that accompanied them.
