The boy looked at him curiously, red juice dripping down his chin, his jaw still crunching through the new handful of cherries in his mouth.

Batman continued, "My son. His name is Dick"— stupid name, Jason thought—"and he might be in the cave when we arrive. You may find his appearance and speech… unsettling, but he's not a threat. If he bothers you, I will tell him to leave."
In fairness, Jason did remember Batman talking about his son. Something about how it made him some expert foster parent or something, which was, frankly, a funny thing to brag about while actively shoving the child you’re kidnapping into the back of your car.
