Summary
Jonathan Byers starts his amazing senior year at Hawkins High on the bathroom floor. Literally. He passes out on the first day of the year, no less. It’s not glamorous. His fellow students are shitty to say the least, the classroom reeks of sweaty jocks and weed, not that he smokes anymore, and he’s constantly judging everyone like he gets paid to do it.
Enter Steve Harrington, 5’11 of classic playboy charm, the literal King of Hawkins High, and very single, information courtesy of Argyle.
Steve doesn’t do true love, especially with his past. He plays fast and loose with everything, including relationships. Treats feelings like they’ll always fade, doesn’t do attachments, doesn’t get involved. And despite all the blaring red flags and everything in him saying not to get involved, Jonathan falls in love.
And believe me, he falls hard.
