Summary
Football has always been ruthless. The players, even worse.
Regulus Black knows this better than anyone. One of the youngest stars of British footie, the first openly trans player in the league, and the biggest scandal the sport has ever seen. He didn’t ask to be a trailblazer — he just wants to play. But between bloodthirsty reporters, a fractured relationship with his brother, and the weight of a team that wasn’t built to protect him, Regulus is barely keeping his head above water.
James Potter has always been the golden boy, but even golden boys crack under pressure. Evan Rosier plays with fire and can’t decide if he wants to burn or be burned. Marlene McKinnon loves too much, drinks too hard, and fights like hell. And Sirius Black? He’s always been a storm waiting to break.
This isn’t just a game — it’s survival. And on the pitch, love and war are the same thing.
⚽ A gritty, high-stakes AU where football is everything and nothing is fair.

Summary
They’re not a team anymore. Not really.
After the shooting, the fall, the headlines, and the betrayal, Regulus Black is left with a casted arm, a ruined career, and a fear of water he can’t scrub off. The academy dropped him. Roxanne vanished. Riddle walked free.
Now he’s stranded in Lake Como with what’s left of the old party — Pandora, Evan, Rabastan, Barty, and Dorcas — none of whom are speaking to each other, except when they are, which is somehow worse.
Back at home in Manchester, it is not sunnier either, but James is determined to hold everyone together.
Everyone has secrets. Everyone has scars.
And Regulus? He’s just trying to survive the summer without drowning in it.(Or: post-trauma is awkward, sunlit, and full of unfinished sentences. Sometimes you fall apart quietly. Sometimes you scream in the kitchen. Sometimes you call your secret-boyfriend so he can talk you through a shower.)
Oh, and there's some footie too.
