Or, Steve is a runaway Omega who gets a job at an Omega café, where he’s basically paid to curl up and purr in Alphas’ laps (like a cat café🐈⬛) It’s legal, and he earns a living, rents his own place. He’s getting along fine for a packless Omega. Then Alpha rockstar Eddie Munson turns up for an hour of ‘kitty’ petting, and shatters Steve’s fragile little world...

Eddie enfolded Steve loosely, nuzzled beneath his ear, and simply breathed him in. “You smell divine,” he whispered, sliding his nose lower so he could drag his tongue tenderly up over Steve’s sad little scent gland.

Eddie gawks at him. Steve’s suddenly terrified the Alpha is grossed out. Ugh, he knew he looked a wreck. Then he sees. Eddie is nodding vigorously, a strange unreadable glow in his eyes: “Yes, Sweetheart, you can totally do that.”
Or, O!Steve is losing his mind, struggling with chronic pain, and it feels like nobody believes him or hears his pleas for help. In his desperation, he goes to A!Eddie to score drugs, and they end up ‘saving’ each other.

Not wanting to scare or harm his Omega, he decides to stay away until the full moon has passed. His wolfy side, however, scents an Omega in heat and makes other plans… (fyi, while there’s certain elements of monsterfucking here, Eddie is chiefly human-shaped with added fangs/hair by the time we get to it 😉)
