"Am I late?" Techno smiles, arms wide open.
He feels Tommy's head crash into his chest, knocking the wind out of him. Techno hears the kid give a sigh of both relief and disbelief.
"Oh boy, you missed me that much?" Techno jokes.
"You bitch." Tommy mumbles, failing to cover up the little sniffs he made.
Techno pats the back of Tommy's head. His hair felt a lot more grimy than usual, but that doesn't really need an explanation.
OR
A one-shot on when Techno decided to rescue his favorite gremlin child, Tommy, from being forced to participate in a war he's old enough to be in, but not strong enough to fight in. And things...don't exactly go the way you'd want them to.

"Shh, you're okay," Techno says in a solicitous tone as the kid savoured his embrace. "You're safe. You're safe with me."
Tommy subconsciously clings onto his brother's hoodie like there's no tomorrow, his knuckles turning white from the pressure. A hand that's not his own is put on top his trembling one, squeezing it in a continuous rhythm that seemed to pull him out of his thoughts.
Techno's hugs were oddly comforting, always have been. Tommy couldn't help but giggle at how much concern was being displayed by his usually reserved elder brother. Maybe he'll bully him about this tomorrow, but for now, he found solace in the silence. The storm had calmed down, and Tommy was scared for a moment that Techno would send him back to his room, but he didn't.

Summary
Tommyinnit walks over to his 'thinking table', as he likes to call it. Paper has long since run out, people needed something to clean up after themselves somehow after toilet paper became scarce. That's why he's been carving his thoughts into the wood with a rock. He's been running out of space, though. He'll need to chop up more wood sometime soon. Tommy doesn't like axes, seeing them gave him the same feeling as waking up from a nightmare as a child. The good thing is—if you can even call it a good thing—he knows why.
Because that's what killed him.
Tommy traces his fingers across a name etched into his table.

Tubbo had answered, that same cheery voice that would itch his brain in all the right ways, whether it was at the school lunch table, or during late night gaming. The man gets sent flying into the brick wall mid-run, groaning in pain, searching for the culprit.
"Took you long enough," Tommy looks at the pink-haired man who just previously kicked a guy whilst wearing house slippers. "Why the hell are you in your pajamas?"
"Was I supposed to wear a suit and tie?" Techno asks in disbelief. "Now come on, let's finish him."

“You can literally leave me here?” The Blade says, more of a question than a statement.
“If that's your moral dilemma, so be it,” Tommy shrugs. “As I said, you could always heal yoursel-”
“I can't do that,” The Blade says with a shaky exhale. He looks so fucking pale and Tommy hates how concerned he's getting over someone on the opposing side of a long-term battle. “We're both healers, and you can treat yourself using your powers. But that's not within my capabilities. As far as I'm aware.”
