Summary
“Do you always come here to sulk or something?” His head snaps up at the voice and he meets familiar blue eyes, that stupid hat laying on the counter in front of him. Chuuya is glaring at him, an eyebrow raised, though the stare lacks the heat from a few days ago when he was taken by the mafia and Chuuya attempted to kill him. Dazai huffs out a laugh, though it’s humorless, devoid of emotion.

“The meeting with Mori wasn’t supposed to happen until next week, so, why are you here?” questions Fukuzawa.
“I’m here about the member being chosen to join the mafia.”
“What of it?” snaps Kunikida and Chuuya sighs.
“It’s pretty obvious to two people in this room who’s going to be chosen. Your president said Dr. Yosano was off limits, though she was never his real target,” starts Chuuya, the redhead turns fully to Dazai, “it was always Dazai he wanted.” Dazai lets out a breath.
“If you’ve come here to rub that in my face, then I suggest you leave before I make you leave,” threatens Dazai.
“No, I’m here because he’s not going to be choosing you or anyone here.”or
Chuuya is a good friend and won’t let Dazai go back to the mafia, Dazai doesn’t agree with his decision.

Dazai starts walking down the sidewalk, seemingly deep in thought until he suddenly feels like he’s being watched. A fitting assumption thanks to his new followers attempting to inconspicuously follow him down the street. His fingers inch towards his gun for a moment, and he takes a sudden sharp turn down an alleyway. He crouches next to a trash can.

Summary
Everything is the same, but Oda survived the fight with Gide. After that he attempts to invite Dazai to leave with him, but that is unsuccessful leading to Oda leaving and Dazai staying. Oda joins the ADA and Dazai remains under Mori. Years later and he meets Dazai again in a scuffle, he attempts to change his mind again, but Mori’s grip on Dazai is tight, and the ADA is going to learn about Oda’s past and his connection with one of the most feared criminals in Yokohama, The Demon Prodigy.
