“Peter,” Karen's voice pipes up, a tinge of concern in her voice that's rather impressive for an AI. “The knife missed your vital organs, but the wound is still large and requires immediate medical attention. Would you like me to contact Mr. Stark?”
“No.” Peter nearly shouts, and he winces as pain shoots up his stomach. He glances down. It's worse now. “Don't bother him, Karen. I'll be fine.”
“At the rate you are losing blood, it would be unwise to attempt going home, whether by swinging or walking,” Karen argues. “And you gave the last of your money to two homeless children, so you cannot purchase a bus ticket. Stark Tower is your best bet.”-
Peter gets stabbed while on patrol and Tony is in a meeting. Peter doesn't want to interrupt and be a bother.
