Everything is just getting too much for Alex, he's swamped with school and work and life but he's fine. He's really fine. Except he isn't.
Alex has gone well past his usual point of self-destruction. With pressures mounting in almost every area of his life, he's about to make reckless decisions, and despite his best intentions, this time he's taking Henry down with him.
Inspired by the fact Alex is canonically self destructive, and deals with his anxiety in the worst possible way.

Instead of wallowing, Alex focuses on the undercurrent of fear in Henry’s deep, rich voice that needs to be addressed. So he stands up from a hideously ugly, uncomfortable chair and wraps a hand around Henry’s arm. “I’ll be there,” he assures Henry quietly. “She can try, but she can’t keep me out. I won’t let her.” Alex can’t stop the smirk that creeps across his face. “I can be surprisingly stubborn.”
Shaan nods and raises one eyebrow at Alex. "Really? I hadn't noticed."
