“How terrible,” a passerby tuts, “hopefully he gets help.”
“Gross. At least have the decency to hang out in front of an alley and not in front of a business, brat,” another spat at him.
“A hero will come by to help you, I know it. Just stay strong, kid,” someone tried to assure him.
With each comment, Izuku drew further within himself. With each comment, Izuku’s hope of being saved was stamped out that much more. With each comment, Izuku wished he had been reduced to ashes like his parents.
He ended up sitting on the sidewalk for hours, hearing the same hollow reassurances and occasional insults, waiting for someone to save him. A shadow fell over him, Izuku curled even further inwards, unwilling to look at the latest good-intentioned but ultimately unhelpful person. The seconds ticked by but still no words were said. Curious as to what this person was doing, he looked up. Instead of a cruel sneer, all he saw was an outstretched hand and a warm smile.
“Come with me, child. Let me save you.”

He was 4 when he was declared Quirkless. 4 years old when he lost his best friend. He was a 4 year old, who had no idea why he was born like that, why his mother was saying sorry when an apology is not what he wanted. He was 4 years old when he was introduced to the cruelty of the society.
He was 5 when he met him. He was 5 when he was laying limp on the ground, whimpering in pain when he came. He was 5 when another hero name was written right next to All Might. Squiggly handwriting, and black inked.
He was 6 when he got his friend back. And 7 when he realized there were only two adults in his life that made him feel safe. He also 7 when he got a person to call Dad
He was 12 when he died. And 12 when he found out that apparently the gods, and luck hadn't entirely abandoned him.
It was also when he was 12 that his rose tinted image of heroes shattered. His dreams crushed mercilessly as he was left alone on a rooftop.
He was 15 when he entered UA. And he was 15 when he took the Hero Industry by a storm.

Summary
There’s nothing wrong with the kid’s appearance, not really, but Shouta’s mind is telling him it’s wrong, and when they are awake and in motion he knows that the wrongness will only strike him harder. He’s never seen someone who looks quite so fake. Even while wrapped in bandages, bruises and scars, the child’s skin looks stiff and plastic; like a toy made of mix and matched parts, all put together haphazardly before they were abandoned on the ground by the careless child who created them.
Shouta doesn’t know when they will wake up. He’s not sure he wants them to. In a perfect world, the kid would sleep until this entire mess gets sorted out.
All for One hadn't wanted to lose sight of One for All again, so at Kamino, he decided to improvise.
Izuku and Tomura bear the consequences.
