Affection – honestly the most varied in his love language, gentle hugs, sharing his favourite comforts with you, just watching shows with you, he makes you feel wanted in every way
Best friend – honestly being friends with him felt easy and natural, you found yourself just running into each other more often on coincidence and figured might as well hangout and then surprise run ins became scheduled meetings until you just found reasons to be together more and more often
Cuddles – cuddle puddles during naps are an essential, at least once every week you two love to take a warm shower and just cuddle up and get all cozy in each other’s arms and just doze off 4
Domestic – he would be happy to settle down with you, a cozy relaxed life is the life for him, he’s okay at cleaning but he can’t cook to save his life, so unless you can cook you better have a big budget for takeout!
Ending – he wouldn’t be able to breakup with you formally, he would just disappear off the map and go “ghost” to the point that you wouldn’t know what happened to him in hopes you would eventually move on and forget him
Fiancé – he is entirely committed to you and has no issue with it, he would be happy to marry you as soon as you are ready, he has known for a long time you are all he wants
Gentle – SOFTIE ALERT he is hella gentle with you but not in a condescending way, he is just a soft soul at heart until he cant be for your safety
Hugs – he hugs ya a lot, every hug feels like a cozy blanket being wrapped around you, lots of lazy arms being thrown over you as he lays on your lap or curls into your shoulder while on the couch, its just one of the many parts you love about daily life with Xavier
I love you – He would wait for when the time and moment felt right but it wouldn’t take him super long, probably just slipped out during one of your more intimate cuddly moments
Jealously – would just get very quiet, almost like he was contemplating the universe because your talking to someone that isn’t him. He will expect comfort cuddle time to make up for it (as if this doesn't happen once a week minimum with Lumière)
Kisses – he is a casual kisser, he doesn't make a big deal out of it but its always there, everytime you pass him you will receive a kiss on the cheek at the bare minimum.
Little ones – he usually isn’t the type to be super close with kids but he can keep an eye on them if needed, he is however the absolute pro of getting kids to settle down for nap-time, something about his voice reading to the kids almost always puts them to sleep in a few minutes
Mornings – SNOOZING, he dosent typically get up early and if he does its usually chilled out and spent slowly waking upto the world
Night – nights are usually are spent together on missions or kept on comms, when your off work however you usually go for a nightime walk or just cuddle up on the sofa at home
Open – it would take him a little bit but he would open up at a steady pace, he doesn’t want to overwhelm you but he is happy to talk about it if you are ready to know
Patience – medium level of patience (Unless Lumière is involved) he wont snap at just anyone but if you are reckless on the job or people are just making his job harder than it needs to be he will get annoyed quick
Quizzes – Over so long it can be easy to confuse current you’s preferences and the past you, its not that he forgets as much as it is that you changed over time
Remember – his favourite memories is honestly just the soft gentle moments when you’re relaxed and smiling, however his favourite is probably seeing you coo over cats in the cat café he took you for one of your birthdays
Security – this man can basically teleport, so anytime you let him know something (or someone) is bothering you he is there in a literal flash. He won’t necessarily be over protective but he will be there
Try – He tries hard but it usually goes wrong somehow, however it usually leads to a funny story of how you both just laughed at the mess or a how you improvised the plan to make it even better. Just fear the day he decides to hand-bake you a birthday cake (Hope that kitchen had insurance!)
Ugly – only “ugly” habit he has is sleeping A LOT, he has missed more than one event or showed up late many times due to accidentally sleeping in
Vanity – this man genuinely couldn’t care less as long as you think he’s pretty, he would rather sleep in than stare in the mirror a bunch or iron his clothes
Whole – very much would feel incomplete without you beside him, he knows this from experience.
Xtra – he somehow has the supernatural ability to always wake up with PERFECT hair, it is stupidly perfect to the point he barely ever brushes it
Yuck – for him reliability is big, you are partners in your work after all, he will have your back without question but he needs to know the favour will be returned
Zzz – sleeps like the dead…literally he barely makes any sound and barely moves when asleep. You find yourself checking him almost nightly out of paranoia
