"Oh," Felix squeaked out, his voice cracking slightly on the vowel as his face burned a brilliant, atomic shade of red. He clutched his phone to his chest like a shield. "Um. Hi again. Fancy meeting you here... In my exact row."
Hyunjin swallowed hard, his throat suddenly feeling like sandpaper. He slowly lowered his hands, adjusting his cuffs with fingers that were betraying his inner panic. "Right," Hyunjin managed to say, his deep voice sounding a fraction tighter than it had at the kiosk. He gestured slightly toward the aisle seat, 14B, right beside the window. "I believe... that’s my seat."
Felix blinked rapidly, stepping backward to give the tall man room to move, nearly tripping over his own sneakers in the process. "Oh! Yes. Of course. Sorry! I'm just—I'll just get in here, then."
With maximum awkwardness, Felix ducked past Hyunjin, his hip bumping gently against the armrest as he scrambled into the window seat, pressing himself as close to the glass as physically possible to create as much distance between them as possible. His heart was hammering a frantic rhythm against his ribs. Of all the people. Of all the seats on the entire plane.
