Chapter Text

Janis POV

Damn, and even I thought it was impossible for a nerd to get with one of the popular girls, yet Cady over here proved it otherwise. I like her. She's got moxie that I could guide.

"Oh my god, ok, you have to do it, and then you have to tell me all of the horrible things that Regina says!"

I've never been this excited before, but c'mon! A new kid, catching the eye of the woman who ruined my life is crazy! Almost impressive, if I may add.

"Regina seems...sweet." Cady says apprehensively. How can she be swayed by surface-level bullshit like Regina's basic 'nice girl' facade?! She's much more than that, a backstabbing slut-faced hobag.

"Regina George is not sweet, SHE'S A SCUM SUCKING ROAD WHORE, SHE RUINED MY LIFE!" Because it was true, she ruined my good name by making up some BS that everyone believed. If only everyone was smart enough to see through her lies.

At that point, Damien emerged from one of the toilet cubicles, adding on to my point of Regina.

"She's fabulous, but she's evil."

"Hey, get out of here." a girl told Damien. He didn't heed her warning, and outgayed himself right then and there.

"Oh my god, Danny Devito, I LOVE YOUR WORK!" Damien exclaimed with happiness, with his arms wide open. The girl, clearly freaked out, ran away from his bear hug grasp. In saying that, Damien walked back to us, with a dejected look on his face.

At that point, Cady asked me a question. "Why do you hate her?"

"What do you mean?" I know what she means, I can't let her know right now, she'd think I'm a hateful person, which I'm not. And even if I was, she had it coming when she did that god awful thing to me.

Cady pressed me even further. "Regina, I mean, you seem to really hate her."

"Yeah, what's your question?" I know I can't keep this up forever, but I can at least stall Cady before she inevitably finds out about me and Regina.

"Well, my question is, why?"

But Damien, being the blabbermouth he is, almost ratted me out to Cady.

"Regina started this rumour that Janis was-" I quickly cut Damien off, because there's no way I'm letting Cady know about this part of my life yet.

"DAMIEN. SHALL WE NOT?"

Damien made a half-hearted smirk before turning back to me and Cady.

"Look, this isn't about hating her, okay? I just think it would be like a fun little experiment if you were to hang out with them and then tell us everything that they say." That was the biggest fib I ever told anyone. It's not a 'fun little experiment', I want to see Regina PAY for what she did to me, and I need to start to get Cady with me, because of her effortless awkwardness that Regina somehow liked about her.

"What do we even talk about?" Immediately, I begin to list down some ideas some girly topics the Plastics talk about.

"Hair products!"

Damien chimed in. "Ashton Kutcher."

Cady kept asking questions. "Is that a band?"

Oh my god, I'm craving revenge, STOP ASKING THINGS.

"Could you just do it, please?!"

Cady relented and finally agreed. "Okay, fine. Do you have any pink?"

I almost laughed. I retired pink a long time ago. I can't look at it in a neutral or favouring way after the incident with me and Regina.

"No."

At the same time, Damien gleefully said yes.
