Summary
The Fount of Knowledge is the last Virtue standing - the last beacon of hope in a world falling to ruin. The only hope is the Beast Sealing Spell, yet it requires five - a fail safe, in case they corrupted. No one ever thought about what would happen if only Some of the Beasts corrupted, and thus Pristine Milk must be sealed alongside those he once loved - now warped nearly beyond recognition.
Once the Beasts break free, thousands of years in the future, Pristine Milk has to learn to navigate a world wholly unfamiliar to him - and deal with the eons of trauma he's been ignoring. Turns out being locked in a tree for thousands of years makes your trauma worse! Who could've guessed?

He wonders how Pure Flour is - he's been trying to find new ornaments for her antlers.
Yet he still seems to always reach for Pure Vanilla whenever he's close, tail weakly wrapping around whatever part of him is closest, claws snagging in his robes.
"Oh, Witches. Pristine Milk." She crosses the room in just a few strides, cupping Pristine Milk's face, her eyes wide, rimmed with tears.
"Oh. Let me!" Sugar Apple mumbles an incantation, and a small orb of white light floats out ahead of them. "Pure Vanilla knows a lot of handy spells…"
Sugar Apple misses when he was happy - when every part of him shined, when perfection didn't matter as long as people were happy.
Golden Cheese hums, "Well, if you hate him as much as I do, then I don't have any issues with you!"
Pristine Milk's voice cracks as that floral staff is brought down on his head, leading to him sprawling onto the floor, legs collapsing under him.
"Fuzzball's tired." Shadow Milk replies with a shrug, examining his claws. "So I'm here."
"…I thought he did, too." Shadow Milk admits, voice quiet, lacking his normal energy. "I didn't think he'd do this to us."
"Well, we'll see how that plays out on the front lines." Golden Cheese hums, wings flicking, "If you turn your back on us…" The warning is clear.
It was a sad little thing, made of broken down furniture haphazardly formed into a pathetic little lean-to against the back wall of the classroom. But it was warmer than the larger classroom itself, and he felt safer in a smaller space.
"You two yap too much." Shadow Milk sighs as he lifts their head from the table, stretching his arms above his head. -

Oooooh boy. Poor Milky is going through it :(
Honestly for the virtues the most human thing they could have done is to becomes beasts.
