Chapter Text

Everything is cold, abandoned, lonely and unloved. The cold air wisk her bruised face after finding her family murdered. Her hands covered in her husband's blood and screaming in agony of holding her two boys. Her life was destroyed and wants revenge. Her blood boils with vengeance, hands were twitching and images can't get off her mind. She was married to the Winter Soldier, they both escaped from Hydra and had two boys by experiment and went into hiding, tried to start a life deep in the forest. "I will avenge, my loves." The faces of her family killers will haunt her for the rest of her life.

She looked at her house one last time and burned it down. Her pain in her mind starts to throb, she sees visions of her late husband but it was different. She starts to look into it more, as she removes her wedding band and wears it around her neck. Heavy footsteps approaches behind her, without looking back she knew who it was, "Wolfie." She turns and Logan sees her pain as he holds her.

Chapter 1 Grief

An immaculate room, cold shivers on your shoulders and sobbed quietly. Logan is beside you and grieved the loss of your family. Hospital chairs and nurses in and out of emergency rooms, you're quiet and rage empowers your blood. "Wolfie, you're quiet" Logan gave you that nickname since he found you during a fight back in Washington. He holds your hand as he talks to you. A women in maroon boots, navy blue coat, black hair with a small white streak, in a black suit, coming towards you in sunglasses. "I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm here to help you. My name Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine." You ignored her as her eyes stare down to the floor. Logan's eyes sharpen at Val but it bothers how her tone is sounded, "Lady, do you mind here?" She sits besides you and Logan "I know what you witnessed is very disturbing and I can't imagine on how you feel right now. But I see that you want vengeance and closure but you should know that the killer is someone you think is the unthinkable." She hands you a file of your dead husband but something interesting caught your eye.

"I heard that you were a time traveler and can jump into different universe but this darling..is the first phase of your vengeance." You opened the file and reads, 'James Buchanan Barnes aka The Winter Soldier born on March 10th, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY' she reads on and looks at Logan then to Val. "Why are you giving me my dead husband's file? I know about his past." Val smirks, "honey. He's alive but in a different world. And this Barnes, is the killer of your dead husband." You handed the file to Logan and your hand shifted towards Val and chokes her. Her body is lifted to the wall and your face is angered by her response,"Liar. He's not the killer. Because the killer is a blonde woman, who works for Hydra. Don't fucking lie to me, just because Barnes is alive in a different world and you want me to kill him isn't going to work. Lie again? And I will rip your fucking throat." You released Val, she coughs nonstop, "wait." She pants, tries to catch her breath, you and Logan were about to leave "just wait! Look, you want to look at this. Since you time traveled, you fought this alien guy named Thanos and killed him. The universe called 654, it brought back your cousin Loki, then Tony Stark, and Natasha Romanoff but not Steve Rogers. So before you kill me, you may need help. No offense to your bodyguard here.." She looks Logan as she rolled her eyes at him. "Hey. This man right here? Saved my life. Talk to him like that again, I'll let him kill you instead." You remarked back at Val, "I'm not going after the avengers, just the people who killed my family and my parents."

You walked away and Logan tries to convince you not to do it. "Y/n, I know you want to find the people who did it, but killing them won't bring your family back. I've been there and it will make things worse. Please?" You walked inside the coroner's and you see your husband and your two boys lie on the table.. dead. You cried and kissed them on their foreheads. Their body is still, ice cold, no pulse, you touch your kids hair and felt no soul without a heart beat. You took your husband's wedding band and wore it along with yours as a necklace. Their clipboards is dated on the time of death, '02:36 pm on April 18th 2045' you kissed your husband's iced lips for the last time.

You left the hospital and your team is noted that your family is gone. You accepted but continued to find the people that were involved. You packed your clothes and Elektra comes into your room, "y/n. Logan told me what you were going to do. Don't do this, you should grieve and it's not okay for you to be in this state of revenge." You ignored her, "El, I have to do this. There's another Barnes out there and I have to protect him. He deserves a beautiful life even if he has someone, I have to see if he's happy." Elektra understood your feelings and she would have done the same. You hugged Elektra and whisper in her ear, "please take care of him and the team. I will come back." Wade, Blade, and Logan waited for you to say goodbye, "Bitch. I'm gonna miss you. Please be careful." You chuckled by Wade's goodbye, Blade wasn't a hugger but you insisted to hug him, "please come back if it doesn't goes well."

Logan is mad at you, but he knows that you have to do it, "Be careful, Wolfie. I hope you find him." You hugged Logan tight, you look up to him as a father figure. You got on your motorcycle and drove off. The winds hits your face as the thoughts were running in your mind, 'is there another James Barnes? Will he be okay? The bitch who killed him, is she alive? Will Tony remember me?'

Chapter Text

In universe 654, the avengers compond was a little quiet but a flash of light begins to appear. Sam and Clint sees the light and got into a fight pose, then Tony, Natasha, and Loki appears and they were unharmed but Tony was wearing his suit from the fight of Thanos. Sam, Clint, Yelena, and Thor stood there and their faces were blank. Clint approaches to Nat slowly, "Nat? Is it really you?" She looks around and sees her hands, moving, in tears, touches Clint's face, "Clint? Am I alive? Or...?" He hugs her as they both sob. Then Yelena sees her sister, Nat calls her, "Hi lena" She cries and hugs her sister. Tony looks around and hears a glass break, he turns and Pepper sees him. Tears in her eyes, she runs towards him, "Tony?" She sobs, "is it really you?" He couldn't find the words, "Pepper.. it's me" they hug each other and cries, he breaks from the hug, "wait, is Morgan.." Pepper nods. "She's okay. She's in college now." Thor enters the room and sees Loki, without hesitation he hugs him, "Loki? Brother! How are you alive? I saw you" Loki in tears, "Brother, I have to tell you something. But we have to go back to Asgard." Thor looks confused, "wait. It's destroyed. I saw it." Loki stopped him and whispered, "it's y/n. She's alive. She killed Thanos and brought us back." Thor's reaction caught everyone's attention, then Bruce, Bucky, and Walker enters and their faces were speechless. "Wait. Loki, what did you say?" Thor goes with Loki, "I'm sorry guys. We'll be back. Promise." Bucky speaks up, "wait, if you guys are back alive, Steve isn't?" Three shook their heads and his face was sadden. A portal appears and Dr. Strange enters with America Chavez and Wanda, she sees Tony and Natasha alive. "Oh my God, how?" Suddenly, the alarm goes off and the team heads to SHIELD headquarters. Everyone is stunned to see Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff alive.

Nick Fury enters and dropped his phone and shocked to them alive. "How are you here? Alive? I'm in...shocked and speechless." Tony and Natasha smiled, "we don't know either of how we are here." Tony shook his hands with Fury. He continues on the emergency, "now that we had an unexpected reunion, we might have a problem." Dr. Strange explained on a time traveler assassin is leaping through different universe to eliminate people who were involved of a murder. "This person's motive is personal." Sam speaks, "and how is this person relate to Tony's and Nat's return?" Strange responses, "he or she single-handedly killed Thanos. Which brought them and Loki back. I don't understand why Steve Rogers didn't." Bucky looks down and spoke, "why is this personal for this so called assassin?" Tony knew who this person is but he remained quiet. Fury interrupts, "because someone killed its spouse with their children and its parents. We don't know if it's male or female, the main reason is to stop this person and to bring it in to shield."

Back to universe 381, y/n arrives to a forest to meet someone. You removed the helmet and grabbed the backpack and sat on top of a tree stump and took out 4 clear quartz and a book of witchcraft. She is half witch from her mother, Teresa Cruz known as the hybrid witch. One of the rarest witch that can be used for good and evil. Her father, Aro Odinson, grandson of Triton, and son of Poseidon, who is related to King Odin. She is half goddess and cousin of Thor and Loki. She tries to call on a particular dark witch, she remembers on how her parents were murdered. At the time, she was seven and Thor and Loki were twelve and eleven. They never treated her differently because of her mother. "Father, please. You can't ask me to choose between the throne or my family," Aro is upset by his father's request and he must choose or he would give up his title as Prince/God.

Aro kept arguing between his father and great grandfather, "Queen Frigga was raised by witches and you married her, for love. I'm asking you, to support me as well. I have a daughter and I want her to be next in line along with her cousins. They love her and sees her as a sister." He does see potential for you to be queen, you played with Thor and Loki, and picked up some flowers from the floor. Thor plays rough with you meanwhile Loki was always gentle with you. "Y/n, come with me. We can pick apples and discover what kind of goddess are you." Loki loves you as a sister while Thor loves you the same way but he's more of teasing and big brother type. You tripped and scraped your knee, Loki nearly freaks out but you saw a Cavalli water fountain and took some water on your right knee, it slightly healed itself. Thor and Loki were surprised and wanted to show to everyone, "we must show this to everyone. Let's go!" Thor and Loki takes both your hands and ran inside the throne room.

The voices became stronger as the three sneaked inside the throne room and watched how your parents, uncles and grandfather argues over you and your mother. "Aro, we just want the best for you and your wife is not quite for the people of Asgard. Yes, I was raised by witches but I have no powers from them." Frigga tries to consult with Aro but he refuses. "Then, I will surrender my title as prince and leave Asgard for my family." Everyone in shocked and Thor, Loki, and I were in tears. Odin raise from his chair, "then you left me with no choice but to banish you and your family from Asgard."

"Hello, hello?!" A woman dressed in purple coat, white blouse, and a long plum maxi skirt wakes you up, "YO!" You dosed off and saw the dark witch, in front of you. Agatha Harkness, the powerful dark witch, sore enemy of my mother Teresa Cruz. "Well, well. And I thought you were dead;" She chuckles, "so why did you call me for?" You stood up and handed the book of magic and spells to her. "I know you and my mother hated each other, but she's dead. Can you not see me as an enemy? I need your help. I need the magic or spell of time travel."

She looks at you, so serious then she huffs and laughed, "wait.....wait" she continued to laugh. "You want to travel time? For what? To bring back your dead mother? Oh no.. wait to go back and fall in love with the winter soldier? Or maybe to make love to him and have real children.." She laughs and you lifted her with your magic. Your hands glow with black flames and it was hurting Agatha. She yelped and her face terrified of your magic, she gasps and looks at you. Black glow with glimming shimmer in your eyes, the anger and frustration overtook your body.

"Okay! Okay! I'm stopping!" She releases her and showed the time spell from the book. "This is forbidden. Whatever mistake you make, it cannot be undone. Seriously, why do you need it." You explained to her, that your husband is alive but in a different universe, and you need to protect him. "Look, I'm sorry for your loss and you can't bring them back. Even if he is with someone, you have to accept that he's okay." Deep down, you felt that he might be in danger, "bringing back a loved one is against the witches coven. And you will be punished." She remarked of your selfishness, "I don't want to bring back my husband. I accepted his death along with our two boys. I just need to travel in his world to save him. Even if it cost my life, I will accept any punishment that will be given to me," Agatha raises her brows and cross her arms, "why do you need to do this? Let it go and move on with your life. Join me, and we can be unstoppable." An evil smirk on her face, you set the tone. "I'm not like you. I didn't sacrifice my children for power and be the best dark witch. I didn't invade a small town just to bring back my family, I accepted their death, eventually I have to move on. But I discovered that another James Buchanan Barnes is alive, I'll take whatever chances there is, just to protect him."

Your face narrowed towards Agatha as she shed a fake tear, "aww, your precious husband is alive and you are willing to sacrifice your life for him?!" She sits on the tree stump and has something in mind for you. "Okay, how about a deal?"

Chapter Text

Agatha raise her brows and caught your attention. "I'll help you travel to whatever universe you need to go but with a price." Your crossed your arms and knowingly what she wants..your powers. "You know that I'm half goddess, and they will come after you. And someone else, but you already know that, don't you?" Agatha shrugs, "They? Knowing your cousins? I'm aware of that, since you did kill that big purple hunk to protect your planet. Also, the other witch? Yeah, she did gave you half of her powers by saving you back in sokovia but she knew your mother." Shocked of her response, "wait. My mother knew her? How?" How did my mother knew the Scarlett Witch? Did she knew Tony or Logan? Or my husband? You hesitate to ask her more questions, "what is the deal?" With a greedy smirk, Agatha leaps off of the tree stump, "Well, if you fail or he doesn't want you, I'll take all your powers." She scoffs and you asked, "if I succeed?" She smirks and lifts her hand with purple glowing, "if he says the three words, then I'll leave you, and your other team alone, including the avengers." Deep down, you want to believe her, but she's a snake. She can come up with any tricks under her sleeve. You took a deep breath and shook hands, "Deal. Now, show me, please?" With a evil smile, she lores you to read the book of dark magic.

In Asgard, Thor and Loki arrives and Heimdall sees the two and greets them with open arms and hugs. "I don't believe my eyes, you two are here!" Heimdall and Thor hugs strongly as best friends. Loki is nervous as he remembers how he treated him, "Loki, I can't believe you are alive, how?" With tears in his eyes, he hugs him "Heimdall, I have many questions. Regarding of our cousin, y/n. Is she alive?" His face changed to guilt and spoke, "She is, but she is in grave danger. We saw what happen that day, boys she's not who she was as a child." Heimdall explained of how he rescued you after you witnessed your parents death, in front of you. Then, Hydra teleported to Asgard and tried to take you away. He rescued you, and he send you to earth. He watched you above the sky and through your whole life; he witnessed the pain, loneliness, terrified, tortured, emotional wreck that you had no one to help you.

"Y/n, was captured by a horrendous organization and enslaved her as a pet. She escaped thirty times and been captured fifty times. I wanted to help, but King Odin forbids me and not to say a word to you two that she was alive. I had to pretend and just to help you two to get along." He couldn't bring himself that he witnessed your assault, that you would have to tell them, yourself. "My father, who cared about his people and couldn't help his niece?!" by his tone, Loki was furious and angered that you were alone for your entire life.

Thor tapped his shoulder, "Loki. We know that she is alive and we have a chance that we can help her. We must find her, before SHIELD or The Avengers do. Who knows of what they will do to her." Thor and Loki were about to teleport, suddenly Heimdall forgot the important thing of y/n's life, "Wait! Before I send you back, there's something else you two need to know."

At Agatha's coven club, she teaches  you to use a black onyx ring to control and use dark magic. It was against your heart to use dark magic, but knowingly this was necessary. You tried three times then you caught the hang of it. "See? Easy peasy." You rolled your eyes, "easy for you. I'm against dark magic, you know that." Agatha' annoyed face starts to brittle, "are you done complaining? Your almost there." Then, you concentrate on making a portal, a yellow bright portal opens, a guy probably mid-forties with slight grey hair on his sides walked through. "Are you y/n Odinson-Cruz?" You hesitated to answer, with your arms crossed "who's asking?" He closed his portal, "my name is Dr. Stephen Strange, I need to speak with you. I'm from the universe 654 and it's urgent to speak with you." Strange was hesitant when  he sees Agatha, "Hello Strange, you look good," she comment him with a smirk. Strange replied with a serious tone, "Agatha. What are you doing with her?"

"Oh relax, I haven't done anything dangerous to her. Yet." She scowls him while waving her hand around. "I need you to come with me, now." Strange urged to convince you to go with him, "why do I need to go with you?" He rolls his eyes, "does it concern if it's involved of your husband?" You turned to him, "what do you know about him?" You reacted with shock and fear, "he's alright, but I need you to come with me." You looked at Agatha as she shrugs, "I'll be here once you are back." You nodded and went with Strange.

It was warm, burgundy bed sheets, cashmere plum candle scent, musk with pinewood smell around your body. Tickled by a well groomed beard and a vibranium arm holds you from the waist. He kisses you as he devoured your lips against his. He caress your body, his fingers trace your curves and kisses on your lower stomach. You slightly moaned and he smirks, he loved hearing you moaning to think that you are enjoying this moment. "Hmm...Bucky." He kisses more on your body, then he lifts your hips towards him as your legs opened wide. He removed his boxers and enters you, slowly and you gasped with pleasure. Both your hands grabbed onto the bed sheets and Bucky reached and intertwined your hands as he thrust into you and moaned your name.

"Fuck, y/n..." He proudly moaned more, "I love you. So much."

You gazed into his eyes and he looked back to yours, he touches your face, "I love you, James Buchanan Barnes. I love you so much." He thrust more and more, you moaned loudly his name as you both climaxed. "Yes...baby. I'm almost there. Please more. More."

Bucky wakes up, covered in sweat and he climaxed in his dream. For the first time, he didn't have a nightmare, it was a pleasant wet dream. He rushed to the shower, cold water was running and thought about the dream he had, 'who is that woman? She's beautiful. Do I know her? Were we together in a past life?' He tried to focus on her face but his mind was about that dream. He slumped his head down, "fuck. Who is she?" annoyed that he doesn't know if you were real or not.

The next morning, he rushed to SHIELD headquarters due to a emergency meeting; he sees almost everyone there except Thor, Loki, Strange, and Chavez. Natasha and Bruce arrived after they were interrupted from their wedding planning, "Okay, now half of us are here, we got a problem," Tony relived a sigh, and explained the team that there's an assassin that is targeting current and former Hydra agents and its uses time travel to kill them. Sam's eyes widen, "Wait, Tony, maybe this person is going after the main person, and I thought Hydra is dead. Isn't it?" Tony shook his head, "unfortunately not, in the suspect's universe, Hydra still exist and we don't know who is going after. Until further notice, Strange and Chavez are going after that person and we need to be cautious. Any of us, is Hydra's target but I'm not hundred percent sure if it's sent to us for protection."

Bucky's fingers twitched, "what's this killer motive, there has to be a motive if he or she is going after." Tony shrugs and Natasha's eyes turned tensed, "we need to stop this person before any of us gets hurt or killed."

The team were dismissed and Bucky's distraction is not what he needed, Wanda notices his face and approaches to him, "Bucky, are you okay? You seemed a little irritated at the meeting."

She became concerned since she can sense his mind is a little off, "no I'm okay. Thanks."

Wanda slightly smiled, "okay. Do you want to come with the boys? We are going to go eat." He hesitated but he was getting hungry since he hasn't had breakfast, "sure. Thanks."

They went to the nearest diner and enjoyed their brunch, Bucky tried to not think of the dream he had, but he couldn't stop thinking of that woman. Sam notice that Bucky was distracted of something but couldn't tell what was bothering him, as soon as the team was leaving, Sam caught up with Bucky, "Hey. Are you good Buck? You seemed off."

With anxious eyes, Bucky needed to talk to someone, "Sam. I don't know how to explain it but.. last night I had a dream that was very different but it was very pleasant at the same time," Sam raised a brow and got closer to Bucky, "you mean like a sex dream?" Bucky hesitated but couldn't agree more. "Yeah. For the first time in my life, I never had this kind of dream."

Sam wanted to laugh but he knows that Bucky is serious, "my man, you just experienced your first sex dream. Tell me, the woman. What did she look like?" Bucky smirks then a huge grin appeared on his face, "she's beautiful. Beautiful honey brown eyes, beautiful curves, her smile, hair so soft along with her touch, I never seen her before but.. she's damn beautiful."

Chapter Text

Strange brings you to his portal along with America Chavez. You were feeling that they might take you in but Chavez tries to ease up and understand why you are doing this. "My name is America Chavez. I want to understand why are you going through this plan of yours." You wandered around of Strange portal of time and see your family in one cloud than another of your husband's murderer. "When I was seven years old, my parents were murdered, in front of me. Then, my husband and children were murdered in front of me. The killers are part of HYDRA along with a partner name Stryker."

Strange and Chavez face soften and sadden on your tragedy. "I don't need your pity, I have to protect my husband. I know he's alive in your universe. I have to get to him before they take him and turn him into the winter soldier again."

The two looked confused, "wait, Hydra is gone and the triggering words doesn't effect..." Chavez paused and realized a moment, "is your husband James Buchanan Bucky Barnes?" You deeply sigh, "yes. My name is y/n Odinson-Cruz." You briefly explained the two that you are related to Thor and Loki; you were part of HYDRA, escaped thirty times, your mother is a witch and father is son of Poseidon, and a new partner name Stryker is coming after you. Suddenly a small break of red glow appears. You tried to shield Chavez and Strange, but you sensed that Strange is carrying the time travel stone. In the red glow, you see the Hydra agents jumped into the multiverse and you yanked the stone from Strange.

"Y/N!! NO!!" Strange yells, "I'm sorry." You used your magic along with the stone and went after the agents.

Chavez send a distress call to the tower and to someone else. "You think they can stop her?" She catches her breath and helps Strange to get up, "I don't know, but either they can or he can." Before they follow you, Chavez open her own portal and Logan appears, "who the hell are you two?" Feeling hopeless, Chavez responded to Logan, "it's y/n. She's going after the people who killed her family." Without hesitation, Logan followed them. Strange held Chavez and Logan freaks out but also was fascinated when he enters the dimensions of the multiverse.

They see you killing the agents one by one, Logan sense the anger and pain you have. Immediately, he has to stop you before it's too late, "Y/N! STOP!" You turned to see Logan chasing you, "LOGAN! BACK OFF!" Chavez tried to catch up but Strange pulled a force that brought the three of them to a portal. He released the mirror dimension then you managed to escape through reflections, Logan, Strange and Chavez covers every reflect object. Panicked as you are, the mirror turned to water and you saw the Hydra agents were about to kill Strange, Chavez and Logan. You dragged them down and managed to break the dimension.

"You let them get away?! You have no idea, what you have done!" Your breathe shudders and anger tears streamed down from your eyes. "Your taking lives. Your children doesn't exists, y/n!" You showed your mind to the three and cried as they saw your whole life. "My children were made in a laboratory. They took my eggs and my husband semen to create our children into weapons. We both escaped with them, for four wonderful months. Until they were murdered. My husband deserves happiness, joy, a future where he can be himself and find...a special person in his life, family. I read his soul and heart, his broken, damaged, lonely, the government might forgave him for his past. But he still doesn't believe in himself that he can be happy, you seen him. If Hydra gets to him before I do, they will turn him into the winter soldier again but he will be worse. I know because I felt their soul and they will do anything to get to him."

Strange faces soften, "I'm sorry for the loss of your family, but killing these people-" you interrupt him. "Those people have no remorse of what they did to him! But I was the worst, because they gave me this. I am a curse that can't be loved or protected, but I'm willing to sacrifice my life and my love for him. Please Strange, let me do this." Chavez lowers Strange's hand, "Fine. We're going to let you do it. But the right way." He lifts you and pushed you into the dimension and you fall. Logan tried to save you, "what the hell did you do?! He raised his claws from his fists, "I send her to keep her safe. We need to get to SHIELD headquarters."

Chapter Text

Inside the dimensions, you fall for a good ten minutes and landed in a cell. You woke and realized that you are trapped inside, used your magic and couldn't break free. "Strange?" You called him out but nothing. "Chavez? Logan?!" No response. You saw a camera and tried to break it with your powers. A shield agent realized that you were in a cell not knowing who you are. He alerted Fury, "uhh.. sir?" Fury noticed you, "holy shit. Watch her." He reached his phone and dialed, "Stark? You're right, it's y/n." He hanged up, swiftly turned, Thor and Loki appeared, "where is she?"

The two managed to see you, "y/n?" You sat on the floor and saw your cousin's, "my god, Thor? Loki?" The two were happy and relieved that you are alive, Loki breaks in happy tears, "I can't believe your alive! How did you get here?" You break into tears, "there's so much to tell you, but I can't, not in here." Thor raised his hands against the glass of your cell, "we're going to get you out of here, before the avengers arrive. We're taking you to Asgard, you'll be safe there." You shook your head by Thor's comment, "no. I'm banished remember? I can't go back not when-"

The cell door opened and your eyes widen when you saw the most horrific thing approaching to you, it's Rumlow, "OK, darling. You're coming with me." Loki sensed your heart and it's in danger, while Rumlow handcuffs you, he whispered in Thor's ear, "we must keep an eye on that mortal. She's very uncomfortable with him, he nodded.

The Avengers arrived at the same time; Strange, Chavez and Logan appeared from the portal. The three fell on their knees and Logan gets up and cracked his back, "there's no way in hell I'm ever doing that again." Tony scowls at him, "I'm sorry, who are you?" Logan arched his brow, "uhh, who the hell are you guys?" Strange lifts America, "guys? This is Logan. Logan? These are the avengers." She catches her breathe as Sam helped her, "what happen to he three of you?" Strange looked at the cameras and noticed Thor and Loki is coming in the room. Then, Fury enters, "now that EVERYONE is here, plus one?" He looked at Logan, "I think we caught our mysterious assassin." Strange shook his head, "no. We trapped her in there, where is she?" Tony spoke, "she's being interrogated but we need to keep her safe and close."

Clint rolls his eyes, "can someone tell us, who the hell is she?" Logan stared down at Clint, "watch your mouth, kid. Before I break it." Thor breaks them apart, then Loki slammed his hand to the table, "Enough. Her name is y/n Odinson-Cruz, she's our lost cousin. We didn't know that she's alive and we are taking her back to Asgard." Fury interject "she's not going anywhere, she needs to be interrogated and she killed lives. She needs to face the consequences of her selfish acts." Natasha looked up your name and found nothing, "there's no record of her, how can we trust on this little information?"

While everyone is discussing about you, Bucky's eyes widen and saw you being escorted to the interrogation room. You turned to your right, and saw your husband with your own eyes 'Oh my God, he's alive. He's so handsome,' you said to yourself. He couldn't believe it, it's the same woman from his dream 'holy shit, it's her. She's real and beautiful,' he said to himself. Sam noticed Bucky's reaction and looked at you, "Bucky? Is that.." He whispered to him, "yeah that's her. I can't believe it."

You were placed in a large cell where everyone can hear you, Fury opened the speaker where the avengers can listen. A shield agent started to question you, "Well then, let's start. What is your name?" You sat quiet and didn't speak, "I asked you a question, what is your name?" Nothing. "Look darling, we can do this the hard way or the easy way. You are not getting out of here, either way." The guys didn't like how this agent is talking to you, "Fury. Who is this agent? He needs some learning for his manners," Sam spoke up to defend you. Wanda and Strange sensed something off, "what is this agents name?" Clint looked him up, "woah. A weird one, Kcorb Wolmur? I feel bad for this guy." He scoffs and Chavez grab a pen and paper, wrote his name. "I have a off feeling, someone spell his name to me?" Bucky stood next her as well as Wanda, "K-C-O-R-B-W-O-L-U-M-U-R..what is it?"

She thought of it and Wanda lifts the paper up to the light and saw RUMLOW BROCK, her widen. "Thor, Loki and Logan get her out of there! NOW!" The three ran and Wanda follows, the team discovered that Rumlow is alive. Suddenly the lights went off, "what the hell are you doing?" Brock took off his disguised, his face turned to a sneakily smirk, "I'm getting my sweet girl out of here. And your taking me with you." He lifts the red book, your face in horror and tried to resist the triggering words.

Chapter Text

You scream in agony to resist and Wanda tries telepathic to block the words to your mind. He finishes the words and you stood still, "soldier-" you choke him and your eyes turned into a dark glow of black. "The fuck-" choking in his words, "now, I can end you."

You threw him across the room and he passed out. Someone jumped on top of your back and injected something behind your neck, "now you will destroy the avengers-" you reached by grabbing the belt buckle of this person behind you, threw and kicked him; it was Stryker. You grabbed the needle and only a small dose was injected into you. Your mind started to wander off and trying to focus, but you hear voices 'end them. All of them.'

Shield agents enters the room and you fought them off. "SHOOT THEM!" Stryker yells in command to you, but you couldn't shoot them but you shot the Hydra agents in disguised. Then you ran off and Clint arched a flash arrow to you and blinded you.

The zap behind your neck triggered and screamed in agony. Clint punched and kicked you in the stomach, landed on the floor and lift him with your magic and threw him. Shielding him as he crashed into the glass door, his eyes stunned and realized that you protected him. Natasha jumped on top of you, choked you with her legs wrapped around your neck. You twist your body to her left and threw her across but shield her at the same time. Clint helped Natasha, "did she just.." Clint asked Natasha and quickly answered, "yeah she shield us both."

They went after you, but the zap triggered and you screamed again. The pain was unbearable and the two saw you hitting yourself against the wall to stop the pain. You threw yourself to the ground then Scott fought you and saw a red chip behind your neck. "Guys, there's a chip behind her neck. It's zapping and hurting her," he intercom the team and you fought him. He falls and dragged you down the stairs. You managed to get back up and made your way to the roof.

You arrived to the roof; but Tony, Rhodes, Thor, Sam, Wanda, and Bucky surrounded you. "Y/n. We want to help you, so stand down" Thor tries to be reasonable with you.  Wanda lifted you with her magic and you fought with yours, your hands starts to glow with black. Her eyes widen but you were easy on her, she got hit and landed on the ground. Trying to find an escape, you jumped kicked on Sam and Tony tries to taser you, but you yanked off a wire from his suit from jumping behind him.

You both fall, landed on the floor and cartwheel kick Thor, you tried to run but Bucky grabbed your arm with his vibranium hand tight, you screamed and he holds you, without warning, you tripped him by wrapping his leg along with yours. Fall backwards landed on top of him, he falls on his back, and hit him with your elbow. You got up and jumped off the building. Rhodes flew after you, along with Bucky. You fall twenty stories down and landed on your feet and ran. Bucky did the same and ran after you.

You got into an abandoned building and remembered you hid your motorcycle. You got on and rode off. Bucky chased you with his, "I got eyes on y/n. She heading north on Madison and 12th with a.. uh.. high tech motorcycle?" He didn't even know what kind of motorcycle it is. 'Damn, that is one nice view' he said to himself, doesn't even know if he was talking about the bike or a particular view he's looking at.

Logan managed to grab a motorcycle as well and he followed Bucky and y/n, he catches up to you, "Y/N. PULL OVER!!" He shouted and you flicked him off. Then he saw a black unlicensed truck, approaching fast and nearly hit you. You saw Rumlow, he swerves the wheel and attempted to hit you again. You set an auto-drive of your bike and jumped to the side of the truck. Logan and Bucky were on both sides on the lane, "Barnes! You need to get her off the truck!" Logan shouts, he gets closer to Bucky, "who is she after?" Bucky shouts back.

"It's Hydra. Barnes, it's personal to her. You need to get her off!" Logan sets in position to claw out the tires and Bucky tries to jump and get you off. Using your magic, you lift the top of the truck and Stryker triggered the chip and you lost your balance due to the pain and zap. You fall and they drove off, eventually you returned to your bike and headed south.

Chapter Text

You drove south to find a short cut. While Stryker still manage to trigger you, Tony come up with a plan to take it off of you. "Logan? Barnes? Got eyes on her?" No response.

Sam flew above and sees you, "I got on her Tony. She's taking Rose St. & 12th, a shortcut to get to the truck." Sam flew closer to get you out but Bucky was behind you. Loki and Thor are trying to get you, but they seem to be out of the blue of why you are after Hydra. At the avengers tower, Bruce tries to find information about you but discovered that you have a encrypted file and need a password. He texted Tony about it and he uses it as leverage to get to you. More Hydra agents are following you with vehicles and motorcycles, Logan and Bucky split and took down the agents.

You still followed Rumlow and Stryker, meanwhile at the headquarters, Sharon Carter enters and asked for boyfriend, "Hey guys, I heard what happen, where's Bucky?" She and Bucky have been dating for three months.

Strange approaches to her, "he's fine. He's after y/n." She looked at Tony's suit cam, 'dammit, this bitch was supposed to be dead. Rumlow it's easy for you to get into her pants but you couldn't fucking kill her.' Her thoughts run into frustration and eyes became rage; Strange, Chavez and Clint noticed her reaction after she saw your face. "Okay. Let me know till further notice-" Clint quickly responded "yeah. We'll let you know," she leaves and the three didn't like how she reacted, Clint spoke "if it makes you guys feel better, I never liked her either."

You speed up to them while Stryker grabs a M-4 gun to shoot your tires but missed. Set auto-drive and jumped the back of the truck. Five more agents fought you, and you threw them off. Just as Stryker tries to zap you again, you kicked it off of his hand and Rumlow choke hold you, Bucky jumped in and fought him off.

"Fucking Barnes, came to save your little bitch?" This rages Bucky, his punches him and saw the control that zaps you. While he grabbed it and fought the last agent, Rumlow threw you out of the truck. Logan tries to save you, but your magic hanged on the top of the truck. Rumlow kicked Bucky off and Stryker jumped off the truck. Rumlow threw a grenade and jumped off, it went off and you jumped into the river.

Parts of the truck hits your head, you passed out. Loki saw and jumped after you. The water surrounded your injuries and healed some of it. Loki watched the water, transforming into a hand, and it was his uncle Aro. Loki can see the ghosts of God's and Aro went into Loki's mind, "protect her. She has you and your brother left. She is not what she seems." He nodded and grabbed you to safety.

In your mind, your grandfather is Poseidon, the god of sea, he used his power to heal you. Your memory of water appears, when you were a little girl and scraped your knee and the fountain water healed you. Another memory,  of an attack by coyotes after saving Morgan Stark's life, you fought them and fell in the river, the pain of the scars was unbearable. Suddenly you felt the water healing you and Morgan yelled for her parents, Tony helped you and catching your breath, "is Morgan okay?" Tony responded "yes. She's safe, because of you. Thank you."

Loki watched as the water glows on your arms then to your back and above your thighs then he knew someone caused you more than pain. Loki gasped for air as he lifted you to safety, then Tony helped him along with Bucky, he reached and carried you. He checked for your pulse but nothing, performed CPR and no heartbeat. He didn't stop, until Tony scanned you and a heartbeat appeared. You woke by spitting out the water and Wanda put you to sleep. Everyone got inside to the quirjet and Bucky placed you on a gurney and headed to the avengers tower.

Blinding lights, woke you up and found yourself in a medic room, but your left wrist is cuffed by the side of the bed. Your head is throbbing with pain and your body aches everywhere. Bruce approaches to you, "Hi, your awake. How are you feeling?" Hesitated to answer him but he's an avenger, "in pain. Where am I? What happened?" Bruce reached for a chair and sat next to you, he briefly explained what happen while you were caught at SHIELD headquarters; the situation of HYDRA with Stryker, then you attempted attack on the team, etc.

You felt guilty with shame, a slight tear came down from your face, "did I hurt anyone, badly?" Bruce shook his head, "luckily no, but when you fought them, you shield them at the same time, how and why? I mean, I understand you were under controlled and we discovered that someone put a chip behind your neck." The words couldn't come out from your mouth but shudder breathes, you deeply inhale and exhaled, "my mother's voice was in my head when I was fighting your friends. I knew she could help by little. When I threw that woman with red hair-" Bruce exhaled with frustration, you stopped and realized she was important to him.

"Is she your-" you asked and he answered quick, "my fiancée. We are getting married in three months." You closed your eyes and more guilt flooded your body, "I'm so sorry. But I shield her because I couldn't hurt people with good hearts. I can read and sense people's heart and soul, I knew some of the Hydra agents that were in disguised as shields agents."

He felt relieved when you meant your apology. Tony walks in and looked at you a minute, "Hey kid," you couldn't believe your eyes, the man who you saw as a second father figure, is alive. Your breath shudders, "Tony? You're alive? How?" You wanted to hug him but you were cuffed, he hugged you instead as tears came down from your eyes. Bruce got up and waved at someone to come in, and it was Logan. Tony released you, shortly you saw Logan, he hugged you. "Hey wolfie, you okay?" He asked and you nodded. You remembered when he gave that nickname since, he saved you from that bar fight back in Washington which was ten years ago.

It's strange to have both your father figures to be in the same room, "I assume you two met already?" You asked with a raspy voice from crying, they both looked at each other for a slight second, "I figured that he was the rich dad that you mentioned couple of times. He's not that bad, I guess," Logan smirks as well Tony did the same, "true and you are the violent but protective wolf dad she mentioned, I have to say I'm very impressed of your ability. But I'm curious of how you got them." Tony commented on Logan's mutant ability but he doesn't like to talk about the past he went through.

As Bruce left you alone with Tony and Logan, the two talked to you about Hydra and their involvement with Stryker. Logan's anger was about to boil his presence but he had to stay calm for you. "Y/n, the reason why I'm asking about this, it's because Bruce found encrypted file on you. SHIELD couldn't find anything on you, but it needed a code." This moment was something you weren't ready for, not even from your two dads. "I want you to stay at the tower, but-" you cut Tony off and knew were this was going. "I know. I'll tell you the code but on two conditions. Logan gets to stay as well and whatever I say, stays in this room. No one can know." By no one, you meant Bucky, he can't know that you are his wife. "Deal, but he has to know the truth either way," Tony responded and shook your hand and Logan uncuffs you. "The code is 2045, the year we got married." Tony shook his head and Bruce went to unlock the file.

The team waited for Tony to brief the information about you. "What is Stark taking so long?" with an annoyed tone, Bucky paces and Sam tries to get him to stop. "Buck. You're making me sick, please stop." He rolled his eyes and sat down. Finally, Tony arrived while you and Logan followed him, "what the hell is she doing without cuffs?" Sharon exclaimed of you not in handcuffs, you looked at her.

A memory runs to your mind, "you and Barnes shouldn't have run. Now, you will pay for the consequence." You were on the ground, trying to get up but with a evil smile she shot at your kids. Their screaming killed you inside, you couldn't stop her. As your husband, Bucky tried to stop her, she shot him as well. Tears of anger and heartbreak streamed down from your eyes, you just witnessed your family killed, the same way your parent were murdered.

You were back at the conference room but heavy breathes was starting to overtake your body. The room was starting to spin and you collapsed. "Oh my God, is she okay?" Natasha was shocked after what everyone just witnessed. Tony, Loki and Logan tried to wake you up, "Wolfie, wake up!" Logan placed two fingers next to your neck, "Stark, her heartbeat is going really fast." He pointed out and looked worried then Tony pointed out, "she's having a anxiety attack, we have to take her to the medic room." Wanda shouts, "I'm going with you."

Home. You are lost, lonely and unloved. You were used to this feeling, until you met the winter soldier. He trained you, protected you, and once he loved you. The first time he saw you, it was 1996 in Siberia, you were thirteen years old. Remembering the heavy cold air, blazing through the cracked walls, it was freezing and you were singing while cleaning. The sweet voice caught the winter soldier's attention and he approached towards you.

His footsteps were heavy, your face turned with slight fear but you were in awe by his blue glacier eyes. "Wh..what are you doing, soldier?" You asked and he didn't say anything. He gently grabbed your neck but his thumb, traced below your chin and slowly to your lips. His eyes followed yours, "are y..you going to kill me, now?" He shook his head and kissed you. Resisting as it should have been, you couldn't stop, his lips were soft and devouring.

A young girl kissed by a trained assassin, it was your first forbidden love. He kissed more and sparks felt to your heart as it ran to your blood. He slowly went to your neck and kisses it, it was wrong but felt right. Neither of you stopped, but he wanted you and you wanted him, the spark came back but echoes of your name was reaching you to wake up. 'Y/n!' And again, 'Y/N!'

Wanda tried to wake you but couldn't. Thor used the hammer on you, a spark of lighting appears then you gasped for air and woke. Heavy breathes and your right hand shakes, you were back at the tower. "Y/n, are you okay?" Thor asked you with worried eyes and surrounded by everyone except Sharon, she left. You nodded, "yeah. I'm okay, what happened? I...I was.. um" without words, Tony kneeled, "You had an anxiety attack, kid. Passed out in front of everyone, are you sure you're alright?" He had every right to ask you, he knew you but also knew that you needed time. You slowly nod and Bruce checked you twice, "I think it's better if you rest here for tonight. Just for a precaution." Your mind was full of the memory of your family's death and the killer is your husband's girlfriend. You shook her head, "Tony and Logan, I need to talk to you both, alone."

They agreed and the team dismissed themselves, "Tony. That Sharon woman? She murdered my family. I remembered everything and it was her."

The two looked shocked by your remark, "Wolfie. Are you sure?" You thought for a while, then Wanda. Tony brought Wanda in, "I need you to show them." She shook her head, "no. It's too graphic-" you cut her off "they need to know but you already knew. Please." You laid on the medic bed and she carefully placed her hand on your forehead and the other on the side of your right cheek. Her eyes were red and a glowing cloud appeared and the three saw the scene of your family's death. They saw Sharon fighting with you, then you cut Sharon's right forearm with a blade. Tony knew that you were telling the truth because he remembered that she said that she fought someone during a mission and injured herself with a blade.

While Barnes was fighting with someone, he was protecting their kids. It was a sensitive matter and Logan couldn't look while Sharon shot your kids and husband, the sound of gunfire echoed the room. Tony and Wanda in tears and saw your pain, rage, and emptiness on your face. She woke you up and they know that you weren't lying. "Tony, I can't stay here, if she's going to be here all the time. I need a place of my own. I'll be here when you need me or for a mission, I don't care. But I can't live in a place where my husband's killer is dating him." Logan agrees with you, same as Wanda. "Okay, kid. But I'll find you a place that is close to the tower and you'll answer your phone when I call you. And Logan, I do want you to stay, for her." Logan shook his head, "I have to get back to my team, we have some unfortunate things that needs to be handled. But I'll try to come visit and help out."

Tony kept insisting him to stay but you knew that he had to return to your other team. It broke your heart that one of your dad's has to leave, you hugged Logan, "please, come back. I really wanted you stay." Trying not to sniffle knowingly, you aren't going to see him for a while, "it's okay Wolfie. You'll be alright, you have your rich dad and a new friend, but you still need to tell him."

As referring to Bucky, when the time is right, you will tell him. Strange appeared and opens a portal, escorting Logan back to his universe. Tony handed him a small device to keep contact and for him to open his own portal. He nodded and left, Wanda holds you, and you cried on her shoulder. This led to the first step of friendship of two witches.

Chapter Text

While the team waits, Tony shows you to your room. He opened the door as your entered, your face was left...speechless. He kept some of your old stuff when you used to live with him, Pepper, and Morgan. Your books, old jewelry, an old iPod touch, posters of Selena and Michael Jackson and your movies.

"Pepper and I didn't have the heart to throw or give away your things. But she noted that Morgan kept some things.. so." You briefly hugged him, "Thank you so much.. I don't mind if she kept some stuff of mine..." then you realized that she took some of your classic Disney movies; The Aristrocats, Cinderella, Space Jam, Bolt, and Bambi. Whenever Tony and Pepper had missions or work at the office, you were Morgan's babysitter but between you and her, we're known as sisters.

"Nat, Carol and I did the decor of your room. We kind of did the best we could.." Wanda nervously chuckled, "Thank you. This means so much to me." As she left, you and Tony discussed on the rules of between the apartment and the tower. You sat on the new king sized bed, it felt weird and somehow it felt like you didn't deserve it. A knock suddenly sounded at your door, "come in," Wanda enters. "Hey. I wanted to see if you were hungry, everyone is about to eat.." simply, you shook your head. "I'm okay, thank you." She was about to leave but stood by the doorway, knowing that she wants to talk. "Listen, um.. I know this is a lot to take and I saw your mind, if you want to talk- I mean.." you stopped Wanda, "maybe when your done with dinner, we can talk. I really need someone and I trust you more besides Tony." Wanda nodded and left.

While you looked at the apartment brochures, you found one that is two blocks down, it's close to the tower. A two bedroom; small kitchen with grey tiles that includes stove and refrigerator, bathroom with shower and tub, access of fire escape from the living room, and water/gas included. You turned on some music that Tony brought your old iPod touch and bought a rose gold speaker beats by Dr. Dre. Laying in bed, reading your favorite book; 'A Walk to Remember' and 'Moon River' by Audrey Hepburn playing, it was a perfect night. Wanda knocked at your door, she enters and you both talked.

"Can I ask you something, you don't have to answer.." your brows narrowed, "no, I don't mind. What is it?" She hesitated but it brought to her attention, "when was the last time, you ate something? I'm sorry to ask but, I don't remember you ate anything since we caught you."

Putting your book down and lowering the music, you took a deep breath, "since I was kidnapped by Hydra many times, they were strict with my eating routine. They would give me two meals a week. Since then, I still followed this pattern and I couldn't stop. I manage to survive with water and some fruits unfortunately, I ended up with vomiting."

Wanda's reaction was broken, you were in controlled by these bastards and destroying your life. "I'm so sorry, I can't imagine how anyone could go through of what you experienced. But, have you talked with anyone else?" You shook your head but inside you knew that help was needed. "Logan suggested that I need a therapist but I'm curious about it." A knock sounded by your door, "who is it?" A small voice responded, "it's Natasha.. can I come in?" You answered back, "yes."

She enters and spotted Bucky passing behind her. You looked for a second and he gave you a cold stare. Turning your face away as she closed your door. "Hi, I was looking for Wanda and Bruce told me that she was here." She smiled and sat by your desk, "Listen, Natasha, I'm...so sorry about what happened the past few days. I didn't mean to hurt you or your teammates..." before you continued she smiled and spoke, "it's okay. I'm just surprised that you shield me and Clint while we were fighting you. And please, call me Nat." You explained to her that while being controlled by Stryker, an instinct occurred your mind that you felt her and Clint's heart & soul that they were good people, so you shield them.

Also, you discussed that you were going to move out due to Sharon's constant visits since she's dating Bucky. By Nat's tone, you knew that Sharon is her best friend, "I don't want to be rude but you could give her a chance and-" quickly you gave her a straight serious tone, "no. I'm sorry Nat but I can't be in the same room with her, because.. she killed my family." Her face changed and didn't want to believe you. But, you looked at Wanda and gave her permission to show her your mind. You closed your eyes and Wanda presented your mind to Nat. Her hand was placed on her mouth and tears were streaming down her face. How could her 'best friend' do this to you? And she saw Bucky protecting two kids and viewed when they were killed by Sharon. Guilt was running through her mind, she didn't mean to judge you beforehand but now she saw the truth. She apologized to you, and you developed a friendship with two badass female avengers. At least, not for long, there's more friends coming.

It was eleven thirty. Late. You didn't want to sleep but feared that the nightmares might return. Quietly, you made you way to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle water. Heading back to your room, hearing small footsteps and it was Bucky. He just finished working out and his vibranium arm is exposed. You admire it, a piece of beauty and his bare chest caught you off guard. He cleared his throat, "seeing something you like?" He asked and you shifted your head back to reality. "I'm sorry, um....night." blushing and you entered your room and closed the door. He smirks, 'who are you? What are you hiding' he thought to himself as he entered his room.

Strapped to a medic bed, lights blinding you. Looking around and you were caught again, 'fuck. I need to get out here again' you said to yourself. The door opened and the  slamming sound made you flinched...but.. Rumlow.

He entered with a evil smile, "I knew we- no, I would find you again. This time, your not going anywhere." His fingers creepily caress your leg, you shifted so he wouldn't touch you. He grabbed your face, violently and your breathe started to shake. "You're always gonna be mine, sweet girl. And not even the winter soldier is going to save you." Letting your face go, he undoes his pants, you start to cry, pleading him not to do the unthinkable, "please. Don't do this. I'll listen to you but not this way, please?" Whimpering as your voice turned to fear, he gets on top of you, turning your face the other way. His nose grossly caress your face, "I'm gonna enjoy, every piece of this moment." He entered you and pain surface your mind. "Please, stop!" Pleading him again, the more he gets aggressive. "No!"

Your head kept shifting back and forth, crying in your sleep, you couldn't wake up. "Please.....just stop!" Then the door jingles and someone trying to open, "y/n? It's Pepper. Are you awake?" You start to scream, loudly. "Y/N! OPEN THE DOOR!" She shouted and it woke up Bucky. "Pepper, what's wrong?" He asked and her face was terrified, "it's y/n. She's screaming and her door is locked." Bucky tried to open, "y/n? We're coming in." He slammed his body against the door, twice and finally opened. Pepper rushed to you and Bucky stood by your doorway with a terrifying look. He wanted to help but he didn't know what to do. "Y/n! Wake up, sweetie. It's me." You kept screaming and couldn't wake up, "GET HIM OFF OF ME!" Pepper is in tears; Nat, Wanda and Loki came in running, "Sweetie, wake up!" She tried again to wake you, then your eyes opened and panting while your nose started to bleed. Your eyes widen with fear and tears came down, "P.. p.. Pepper?" You see her, she's here. "It's okay, sweetie. You're okay." She hugs you and uncontrollable tears overtook you.

"I'm so sorry.....I woke everybody up.. I'm so sorry." Feeling guilty of your screaming, Loki sat next to you, "darling, it's okay. It's was a bad dream.. it's okay, you're safe." He caress your shoulders without looking at Wanda, you knew that she saw the worst part of your life. Bucky was still on your doorway, looking at you with worrying eyes, he asked you gently "do you want to talk about it?" Loki looked at him with pierced eyes and shook his head. "Actually, I need the girls. Please?" Loki nodded and kissed your forehead. He, Bucky, and Pepper leaves, "Pepper? Can you stay also?" She slightly smiled and nods.

Wanda, Nat, and Pepper stayed while wiping your tears away. "That wasn't only a nightmare, was it? Wanda asked you and gently rubbed your hand, while Pepper sat next to you, rubbing your back. You shook your head, "no. It was the night, where my innocence was stolen from me" complete silence. You told the most heartbreaking part of your life, they all cried and hugged you, "none of it, was your fault." Nat touched your face and cried, "how much you suffered enough?" She kissed on top of your head. Pepper, she was the mother figure to you, ever since she and Tony took you in from the abuse of your last foster parents. "You are the most bravest young woman I ever met. You're not alone honey, not anymore." She kissed on your cheek and hugged you again. "Sweetheart, as much as this is something sensitive, but you need help. Do you want me to set an appointment?" You hated the comment of needing help but this was mandatory, you nodded. Wanda hugged you tightly, "you are loved and important. Don't you ever feel like a burden, you have people that loves you." You cried and for the first time you feel loved.

As they left, Loki returned and decided to watch you, he laid on the lounge couch that Tony bought for you. Thor comes in and sat on your bed next to you, "I'm sorry that I wasn't here. But I want to be there for now on." You nodded and he kissed on your forehead, "try to get some sleep, dandelion." Ugh, you remembered how much you disliked that nickname, "ugh. I can't believe you remember that annoying nickname," he and Loki chuckled. Thor took your door, to fix it tomorrow morning. Loki lifted his head, "get some sleep, sweet pea." A half smile appeared from your face, "I don't mind that one." You slightly chuckled.

The next day, you didn't sleep at all. After the nightmare, you couldn't stop thinking about it. It feared you that the girls might tell the guys and think less of you. Loki stretches and walked up to you. Your face was numb and eyes were bright red as cherry jubilee. "Sweet pea? You didn't sleep?" Your head laid next to the pillow, "I couldn't. I was afraid of another nightmare." Loki patted softly on your back, "you really need your rest. Your awfully pale and I don't remember you ate anything since we saw you." You closed your eyes, and saw Thor fixing your door, he finishes and saw you, "he's right dandelion. You're very thin, when was the last time you ate?" You couldn't answer them; truthfully, you were exhausted and want to sleep.

Wanda knocked softly, feeling relieved that she was here. "Hey. How are you feeling?" Your face, tiredness with tiredness eyes, "I didn't sleep. I couldn't." Wanda read your mind and she brought cinnamon tea with two Madeline cookies, the smell caught you off guard. Your body lifted swiftly up and she smiled, "maybe try this. At least something." She placed a small plate against your desk and you carefully took the tea and drank it. The warmth felt relaxed in your soul, it was perfect. Before you knew it, you were hungry, then Sam knocked and introduced himself, while he brought toast with bacon and small fruit. "Morning, I'm Sam. I didn't want to interrupted anything but, I thought you might like breakfast. I hope that alright." He smiled while he carefully place the tray on your lap. "No, not at all but, you didn't have to." You thought that he was being forced to be nice but Wanda telepathic your mind, 'he felt awful about last night and I partially told him and Bucky about your nightmare.'

Your eyes turned feared but Wanda's eyes shook and you realized that she didn't tell either of them the whole thing. Thor and Loki watches you eat, then you felt that everyone is surrounding you, "Listen, I appreciate everyone's concern but frankly, I don't need a audience to watch me eat." Everyone laughs, then Tony enters, "what? We're having a party here and no invite?"

He made you smile, "Hi Tony. Listen, I'm sorry about earlier this morning-" He cuts you off, "kid, don't worry about it. How are you feeling?" You covered your mouth before yawning, "mostly tired. I didn't sleep at all." He rubbed your hand with deary eyes, "take a day off and rest. You're awfully pale." Loki scoffs, "I told her so, she really needs it." Tony approached to you and placed his hand on your forehead to see if you were sick, "well you don't have a fever. You should try get some sleep," you yawned again, and nodded. As everyone leaves, Thor announced to you that he and Loki are returning to Asgard.

"I'm sorry, we couldn't take you with us, it's just for a couple of days." Deep down, you knew that it was going to be longer-term. "I understand, do you think you can bring my favorite dessert? If they still have it?" Thor peaked out your door, "strawberry jubilee cake?" Smiled and nodded. Loki kissed your forehead, "of course, sweet pea. Please, take care of yourself." You hugged your cousins, tightly and Thor wiped your tears. And you lay in bed, falling asleep while hearing music. Loki closed your door, and sees Wanda and Sam.

"Excuse me, you two?" Loki called Wanda and Sam, "I need a favor from you two. My brother and I have some business to take care of in Asgard. And I need someone to watch y/n. I don't know how long we will be gone but.." Wanda takes Loki's hand, "don't worry. We will watch her, all of us." Sam nodded and shook Loki's hand "almost all of us." His thoughts about Bucky, he knew that you and him are not on good terms, yet. "I'll try to get him along with her," Sam replied. Suddenly, heavy footsteps approaches, "is she finally leaving with her cousins?" Bucky's comment annoyed Loki and Thor eases him. "Brother, remember. For her." He whispered to him. They both teleported and left.

Sam followed Bucky and they argued. "Why is it that you are making things hard for her? Did you forget about that dream already?" Bucky gave Sam a pierced look, "do you really need to say out-loud? Fuck!" Sam rolled his eyes at him, "try to get along with her. She's been through a lot." Bucky scoffs, "she's hiding something. And I'm gonna find out what." Bucky leaves and Sam shook his head.

Few hours later, you woke up, it's three thirty. You felt rested, and decided to wander around the tower. You changed clothes to a pair of black leggings, long soft socks with rubber underneath, and a over size black long sleeve shirt. You were feeling dazed and realized that there are many floors in the tower. The balcony caught your attention and saw the skyline over Manhattan. It was beautiful, the view is much different from Los Angeles, from what you remembered. The brilliance of the sun hits your face, closing your eyes and enjoying the warmth.

Chapter Text

You left the balcony and took out your headphones along with your iPod touch. You wandered each room, the kitchen/dining room, living room, media room along with a long six set sofa and a big flat screen TV, the training room with a boxing ring and workout equipment, weapons room, the bar lounge, and a small room with mirrors around, you assumed that it might be a dance room, mostly Natasha would use for undercover missions. You made your way to the weapons room, and something caught your eye.

Entering the weapons room, there was stacked of different riffles and guns placed on the glass shelves. Then, on the far left side you see different launchers of flash grenades and other uses. Various of M-14s, only used from the military but the avengers are superheroes.

Your hand twitches as you grabbed your iPod and changed a song to Spanish. At first you hummed, then the words start to come out from your mouth. The last time you sang a Spanish song, your mother would sing to you and would sing along with her. While singing softly, you looked through the weapons cabinet and didn't know that someone is by the doorway. So oblivious, no sound made since you had headphones on. You continued singing and turned around, you gasped, "sorry, I didn't mean to startled you." He looked in his mid forties with dirty blonde hair, layered upward style, and he had tattoos on his left arm.

"I'm sorry for looking through the stuff, I was just...curious, that's all." You shrugged and he offered a handshake to you, "I'm Clint. Nice to meet you." You shook his hand back, he's very polite but you remembered that you fought and shield him that same day. "I'm so sorry, about what happen. I was in control and..." He lifted his hands up, "it's okay. Nat told me of what happen, I just want to get to know you better, since we are all living under the same roof." You smiled and he stood next to you, while you analyze the weapons. "Do you know how to use any of this?"

Pressing your lips together, you huffed, "yes I do. Before I was in this so called life mess, I used to be in the marines. As a weapon specialist, but they dismissed me after serving for two years. What for if you asked? Battery assault. My lieutenant tried to assault me but I broke his arm, nose and groin but I had all evidence. But they covered under the mat and no response." His face changed to a form of anger, but it was more of shielding. "How long?" You asked him and gave you a confused look, "I see that your married, how long?" You noticed his wedding band and he chucked, "oh, um.. for ten years. She was a former agent of Shield and we both fell in love." You're a sucker for love stories, "that's sweet. You have kids?"

He smiled, "yeah. Copper, my eldest his 22, in college, Lila, my second she's 18, soon to graduate, and Nathaniel "Nate" my youngest, he's fourteen." You thought your kids and so much they would look like if they were alive, "um.. Nat told me about your family. I'm sorry, I can't imagine if I lost mine. I probably be doing what you are doing." You nodded, "I know it's not the right choice but I have to protect him. She also told you about Sharon?" His smile was gone when I mentioned her name to him, "yeah. To be honest, I never liked her. I always thought Barnes would be with a different woman than her." He chuckled, "truth? When I fought you, I thought you two would be compatible." A side smile formed your face, "yeah, well that was in a different universe. He's cold and rude, I shouldn't come here. But he needs to be safe." You tried not to cry, he reached for your hand, "it will take time for you and Barnes to get along and maybe be together. I know some people told you this before but, he needs to know."

You relieved a deep sigh, "Well, if I'm going to stay here for a while? I'm gonna need some training." He reached for a grip handshake, "I can ask Tony, you know if you want." You nodded and you both left the room.

Hearing a commotion from the conference room, you both see Sharon arguing with Tony and Wanda. She shifts her head and sees you, "she shouldn't be here! I don't know what kind of relationship you have with her Stark, but she needs to leave!" The nerve of this piece of trash insulting you was starting to boil your veins. Clint's tone narrowed towards Sharon's, "Carter! You don't live here, since you're a guest and a associate to one of our colleagues, I suggest that you should keep your insults to yourself or the door is right there, and leave." Nat looks at him, proudly that he's defending you. She has other words to say from her former best friend, but that is for another day.

Sharon's reaction was speechless and she turned to Nat for help. "I'm not saying anything, you did insult her for nothing. You didn't even want to get to know her first." She scoffs at Nat's response, "didn't you guys forget that she nearly killed you all? And what if she put a spell on any of you? Then what?!" Enough is enough, "how do you know that I have magic?"

Giving her a smug and her face went blank, as she start to studder, "I......I...saw Tony's suit cam, so what?" You approached to her, "yeah but that is only the beginning, so tell me Carter, what else do you 'know' about me?" You felt her heart beating nervously and see her face start to sweat slightly. "It doesn't matter, because you are not gonna hurt my friends or my boyfriend." Her snotty face began to annoy you, you were ready to punch her. "Ladies do not start fights, but they can finish them. Unlike you Carter, I mannered like a lady while you jumped to conclusions about me like an animal. So, don't start a fight, that you can't finish." Just like that, she leaves by grabbing her jacket and phone. You side eyed at Bucky and his face was tensed with a cold stare.

You looked at him with fierce eyes, "you got something to say? Because I'm right here."

He approaches to you, "the next time you insult my girlfriend again? You're gonna be dealing with me." Chairs started to move by his remark, you scoffed at him. "I'm not afraid you, Barnes. I've dealt with men like you before, trust me they don't come back with a pretty face." The tension between you and Bucky is igniting but you knew that he's not your husband anymore. He smug, "whatever Ms. Perfect, you think you know everything but you don't get to mouth off on someone who's deserve actual respect." You rolled your eyes at him and his jaw clenched.

Meanwhile, another blonde woman, who's prettier than Sharon enters. While three different guys behind her enters at the same time, Bucky's response amused you, "I'm only going to say this to you, once. I was sent here to protect an individual. Once I complete my mission, you'll never see me again and I guarantee you, it will be the best day of your life..... Imbecil." You walked away and Bucky's face went blank when you insult him in Spanish. "Uh...what did we missed?" Lemar asked while his eyes were on you, while walking away from Bucky.

You didn't want to stay, so you teleported to your apartment. You arrived and started to scream and breaking glass vase that you bought. The anger and frustration overtook your body aches, 'he hates me.' Thinking of those three words, it triggered of the memory of the other Barnes, your husband, you wished he was alive. In tears, you didn't fully grieved of his death, suddenly your phone rings; Tony.

You poured a glass of your favorite wine; stella rosa, before you answered.

"Yes, Tony?" You sigh, 'you okay kid?'

You thought for a moment, 'yeah. I'm sorry if I was out of line but she was getting under my skin.' 

He chuckled 'don't worry about it. I never liked her either. So Clint asked me if you want him to train you? Are you okay with that?'

You hesitated but answered quick, 'absolutely. Thank you, Tony. I do want to start training with my powers and manage to control them.' 

He smiled in his end of the phone call, okay.

Then it's settled, I'll have Nat, Clint, Wanda, and Sam train you. We can start tomorrow morning. So get some rest. Goodnight. Call ended.

You're excited to start training but your determined to control your powers but mostly the anger.

The next morning, you arrived at the tower, it's seven-thirty. You wandered to the kitchen and ate two apples plus a banana. Trying to make effort to manage your eating routine, but you weren't used to it. You went to your room and changed clothes; chose a black sports bra, black leggings, a white bagging shirt, setting your hair to a high ponytail and took your iPod touch.

Arriving to the training room, no one was around so, you decided to box a little. Setting your headphones on, and played your workout playlist, 'A Place With No Name' by Michael Jackson plays and you focused on the punching bag in front. All the frustrations, you took it all out from the bag, the anger from the tortures of HYDRA was on your mind. Sharon's face appears and seeing her mocking you that she has Bucky to herself, you wanted to end her, but you couldn't. You lifted your leg and side kicked the punching bag, a little bit of leaping you kicked more. It felt great but you wanted to do it at Sharon's face, you smug.

You continued to workout and decided to do some lifting weights. Strength is part of your powers but not like super solider strength, then you noticed a shadow passing by to your right. Turning your head to see what it was, Bucky. You ignored his presence and continued to your routine. Your music is blasted by Linkin Park's 'Somewhere I Belong' then, you sensed that he was either mocking or watching you, your turned and he was gone. Relieved that he left, your thoughts of HYDRA  tortures returns but you eased your breathing and took a break. You laid in the floor and did forty-two set-ups. As Bucky returned, you took your headphones and played your music again, then you heard him mumbling.

You saw him trying to say something to you, as you removed your headphones. "What?" You asked and his presence was tensed and his arm were crossed, "I said why would you bother to be here, if you are not going to be on missions?"

Your brow arched, "Tony is setting me up to go on missions soon, so don't hold your breath." He smirks, "yeah. I saw you punching the bag, you're weak. That's nothing compare to the others who are experienced." You slammed your hands to the table, "Listen, Imbecíl I don't care what you say about me, I'm here to protect the people. Unlike yourself, I'm not the enemy." He scoffs and his face formed to a smart-ass smile, "trying to be tough and all? That's cute, whatever bitch."

His tone by those five letter words, it triggered the horrific memory of HYDRA'S torture.

They captured you for the last time, they tied ropes on both your wrists and you leaned forward to a table. Hearing men laughing and taunting you, anger boiled through your body. "This is your punishment for escaping for the fiftieth time, you will not escape from us, not anymore." Pierce's threat didn't scare you anymore, then Rumlow approaches to you. Violently, grabbed your face "you will learn by the hard way, bitch." He walks away and you see two agents carrying whips, your eyes widen and realized that this was going to be the end of your life. "Please, don't do this. I won't escape again, I promise." Tears were coming down and the stingy feeling that clawed your skin as it was pealing you off was unbearable. You screamed continuously, feeling blood dripping from your back and they all laughed. They repeated insulting and mocking you in Russian, 'cyka'

Finally it was over, you couldn't stand up but wanting to die. You took a small blade back to your cell, and started to cut your wrist. Your body trembles, waiting to die as you were seeing the light, 'please..take....me away from here.'

You start to breath heavy, getting upset from Bucky's response, "don't call me that." He turned and chuckled "wait? Bitch is not going to say anything?" Your jaw clenches and easing your breathing, "I mean it Barnes. Stop it." He noticed that your tone was getting serious but he didn't care, "I'm not gonna stop. So, once you're done being a bitch to my girlfriend, then I'll try to be nice to you." He side-smiled at you, as you approach to him slowly, "call me a bitch, one more time." He leaned towards you, "cyka" in Russian it meant bitch. You nodded at him and slapped him, then you kicked him. As he flew across the room, he knew that he made a huge mistake.

Then you lift him and threw him over the boxing ring. He got up and you blasted the music with Bad Reputation by Joan Jett, "are you serious right now?!" He wasn't afraid of you but the anger in your eyes, did made him fear you. "Let's go, Solider Boy," just as he hated that nickname, you both started to fight.

He launched a left jab, you ducked and kicked him in the face. Then you jabbed him on his stomach and took your arm and pulled you over as you landed on the floor. Using your right leg, and locking his, he falls and punched him with your elbow. He wrapped you around with his leg, "Stop. I didn't mean it-" you bit him on his leg and kicked his face again. By getting up, you threw a weight at him, he caught it and landed on the wall and cracked it, "Stop being a pussy, and fight!" You shouted at him, and he punched you in the face. It was your first busted lip, but you gave him more than a busted lip.

Sam and Clint were discussing of your training and heard the loud music from the training room, "the hell? What is that-" a glass break as you and Bucky collapsed together. Clint and Sam saw you two fighting and tries to break it off, "Hey!...Hey! Y/n, stop it!" Clint tries to separate but you jumped over him and body launched at Bucky again. He grabbed you by the arm and threw you into a glass door that was used as a sauna room, you grunted, "Listen to me-!" Bucky tries to get you to stop, but hate and anger overtook you. He sees a gun and you saw Clint's sword, you both caught each weapon and faced each other.

Chapter Text

He lifts the gun, at the same time you lift Clint's sword. Tony heard the commotion and saw you and Bucky fighting. "That's enough! Both of you lower you weapons! Now!" He shouted didn't scare you anymore, "Hell no. She's not gonna win, Stark." Bucky was scared for the first time of a woman, who knows how to fight. Wanda, Nat, Bruce, and Scott enters and saw what was happening. Then, Carol with Walker and Hoskins enters and noticed your back. Soaked with blood and it drips to the floor, "um...y/n?" You side eyed Walker, "what?!" Nat noticed too, "Pchelka? Your back....its..." you felt wetness on your back, lowering the sword, grabbing the back of the shirt, it rips and blood.

Everyone stunned and shocked as they saw the scars from the whip marks. You winced and laughing with pain, tearing eyes as you looked at Bucky. His face soften and sadden with guilt, "congratulations Barnes, You just opened my wounds.." Bruce and Tony noticed a small initial of your right side, H.H (Hail Hydra) Tony approaches to you slowly, "kid.. are those scars.. from-" you nod.

"From Hydra. The last day they tortured me, it was the same day I finally escaped from them." You winced, "Sweetie, let's take you to the medic room, Bruce? Tony?" Wanda escorted you and walking away from Bucky, you dropped your bloody shirt. His face didn't changed, 'I'm so sorry,' his thought of you being tortured from HYDRA made him angry but filled with guilt.

Bruce introduced you to Dr. Cho, and you sat on the bed, "We will put you on the regenerate machine to heal the wounds. It's slightly painful but you will recover fast." Your healing power didn't heal fast because it was something that you need to do it for yourself. Wanda stood by you, "what happen?" She whispered to you, "I think you know what happened." She read your mind and she started to cry, "it's okay. I guess all of you needed to know." You caress Wanda's hand, to calm her down; Dr. Cho directed you to lay flat, she tries to remove your sports bra but it was stuck to the wound, "just yanked it out," you told the Dr. Cho but Wanda shook her head, "it's gonna hurt.." She warns you, "just do it. On the count of three...do it." She nods, "ok...1...2...3" she yanked it and you screamed while holding Wanda's hand, your body shakes from the pain.

Tony, Sam, Scott, Walker, and Clint talked to Bucky about what happen in the training room, "you do realize what you just did? Provoking her, Barnes? With bitch?" Tony spoke with a anger tone, "Alright Stark. I feel guilty already okay? I know. I need to apologize." Bucky was wrong about you, if he didn't listen to Sharon's comments, he should've get to know you better.

Bruce head's pops out of the medic room, "Tony!" He waves at him to come in, he walks in and saw you laying on your stomach and your back is exposed with the scars. Dr. Cho explains to Tony about the process, "We have two options; we can give her sedation to put her to sleep because the wounds are old and it will make the process hard to heal. Second, she stays awake but the pain will be unbearable that she might not be able to handle but the wounds will heal fast because of her powers." Wanda and Bruce voted for the first option but Tony asked you, "kid? What do you think?"

You closed your eyes, "I want to do the second." Everyone hesitated on your choice, "but Dr.? If I can't handle it, you give the sedation. Please." You pleaded with her and she nods. Tony and Bruce leaves, while Carol talks to Tony of what was happening. Bucky overhears them, he stopped Tony.

"Stark, whatever you do, don't give her any sedation." His eyes narrowed towards Bucky, "and what makes you think that she doesn't need it? She's in pain!" Bucky's face became serious and caring for your health. "I know because I've gone through it. You have to trust me, if you sedate her, the nightmares will get worse, she has to fight it on her own. As much as you or anyone wants to help her, but she has to do this." Tony calls for Strange, and he appears. But he couldn't help, Wanda reads your mind and saw the nightmares thoroughly she agrees with Bucky.

Wanda stepped out for a minute and she, America, Carol, and Nat came to help. You were comfortable with the women mostly than the men, due to the trauma. The machine was ready and placed you on top of your back and started to scan. You eased your breathing and the girls were watching you, while Nat is in front of you. The scanning stopped and the laser started to prickly Dag on your back. You flinched and both your hands are starting to twitch due to the reaction of the laser. You shook your head, "no. I can't do it, Dr. Cho.. please give me the sedation." She wanted to help, but Tony shook his head. "It's just another five minutes, I promise, it will be over soon." You knew that she's lying, without the doubt, you tried to get up but Carol stopped you.

The pain made you remember the trauma from Hydra's whipping torture. The stingy feeling made your body quiver and that moment you wanted to die. "Please stop! Just stop!" You pleaded with the person who was whipping you, but in tears, you didn't notice that you were in the medic room. "I can't do this, please put me to sleep or kill me, I don't want to do this anymore." Begging in pain, you flashback to the abuse from your last foster parents, whose been abusing you before Tony and Pepper took you in. Your foster father was a drunk and controlling monster, while your foster mother was making you do all the work; cook, clean, laundry, and etc. You getting hit by the belt from your foster father, but you weren't stupid.

You planted video cam and voice recording all over the house until social services discovered the abuse and removed you from their care. You kept screaming but your hands were free as you were trying to escape from the machine. But Carol and Bruce held you, "No, y/n. Just a little more, you can do this," Bruce tried to reassure you to stay, but you couldn't. "Bruce, I can't do this. Please, just kill me. I don't want pain anymore!" His face was sadden by your response. Your eyes changes color due to trauma, but Carol strapped your wrists again, "I'm so sorry but you have to stay, keep fighting, in your mind. You are strong." She whispered to you. Closing your eyes, then the assault memory comes back.

Rumlow was finishing you, in tears he left you with. He creepily caress your face, feeling disgusted by the event; stole your innocence. As he left, you screamed felt helpless, you were alone then cried more and the pain of laser continued, your eyes turned to a Topaz color, "he didn't stop! Please stop!" Dr. Cho monitored your heart, "her heart rate is increasing fast, someone needs to calm her down!" Tony couldn't take it anymore, he rushed to the medic room but Walker and Sam stopped him, "Tony! You can't, I know you want to help her!" Walker responded by Tony's reaction and Bucky rushed to the room, "Bucky! What are you doing!?" Sam shouted at Bucky to not go in the room. He sees you screaming in agony, "Barnes! You shouldn't be here! Get out!" Nat shouts at him to leave as she's holding your leg down while America was holding the other. Then he sees Carol and Wanda holding both your arms, "Bucky! You need to leave, right now!" Bruce exclaimed him to leave, but Wanda nudged him to help you. He slid down and made his way to you.

You were in a cell, sneaked in a blade and cutting both your wrist. 'Please, take me away. I don't want any more pain. Kill me.' Then you were almost seeing the light, but a beautiful blue glacier color eyes, were in front of you. "Y/n! Look at me in the eyes!" Your screaming was ringing your ears and couldn't listen of someone trying to speak to you. Your eyes kept changing color, almost leaving you blind. "Y/n! Listen to my voice! I know you can hear me! OPEN your eyes!"

You opened and Bucky is in front of you. "Please kill me, I don't want to feel like this anymore!" Crying in front of a man who you find so handsome and beautiful, he shook his head, "No. We are not letting you go. Just breathe, focus on my eyes." Your breathing shudders your eyes were on his, and his eyes your on yours. "Keep breathing, slow." He eased your breathing and your heart rate is going normal, "I'm sorry, I didn't know okay? I'm really sorry." He apologized to you but tears were coming down from his face. "Keep breathing slow." He gently caress your face, "y/n?" You slightly opened your eyes, "I'm sorry too, Barnes" Feeling tired, you wanted to sleep.

Dr. Cho turns off the machine, your back is fully healed but the scars still shows and the initial is completely gone. The girls and Bruce released your arms and legs, everyone was in tears even Bruce and Dr. Cho, "why would someone do this to her?" She asked to anyone, "because she's the most rarest and beautiful woman, ever" Bucky answered. He held you as Dr. Cho sets you to lay back on the medic bed, correctly. Bucky felt your body shaking and Wanda approaches to him, "it's all from the trauma. You did great, Bucky. You helped her." He shook his head, "I hurt her first, she doesn't deserve this." Dr. Cho ordered everyone to leave. As she helped you to get a hospital gown on, she noticed the cuts on your wrist, 'what have they done to you, sweetheart?'

Eight hours later, you were still asleep from the pain of the regenerate machine. Dr. Cho, monitor your heart rate and blood levels, then Bucky was standing in the doorway. "Oh, Mr. Barnes, I didn't see you there. Is there anything I can help with?" She smiled and noticed that he was concerned about you. "Is she going to be okay?" He asks her, still feeling guilty for provoking her to fight him. "She will be, the wounds were old and she tried to heal with her powers. Unfortunately, it didn't properly worked out. She was in pain for a long time and her file was never mentioned." Her tone was firmed but also concerned of why it was never mentioned about these scars. Bucky kept his eyes on you.

He analyzed your face; completely still but relaxed, the mark of your busted lip from the fight earlier is completely gone. As if not a single injury was on your face, but they were there. He wants to touch your face again, but the feeling of desperation was running through his body but he remained calm and kept looking at you. He leaves and Tony enters, he looked over at your information from the clipboard, and a slight sound of movement, you woke up. "Hey...Tony," your raspy voice caught his attention and side smiled at you. "Hey kid. I'm sorry I couldn't give you the sedation, someone said that you were supposed to fight it on your own." You looked into Tony's eyes and see tears, like if he's about to cry. "None of you were supposed know, I'm not mad at you but I'm mad at myself. I've been in denial ever since I escaped from HYDRA and all I knew was hate."

Bucky was about to enter, he sees Tony talking to you and stood behind the doorway, listening. "Kid, you have to forgive yourself. None of it was your fault, they took advantage of you for your abilities, do they know that you're related to the king's sons?" You slightly chuckled, "no, and I want to keep it that way. They only knew that I'm half witch. My whole life, I was only taught by hate; I never knew the difference between disappointment, upsetting, disliking, or regret. I didn't even enjoy my childhood, until I met you, Pepper, and Morgan for a short time."

As tears were setting in your eyes, you thought of Bucky, "is Barnes okay? Did I injured him badly?" His brow arched and a smile appeared, "we were discussing about that last eight hours of your life and he pops out of nowhere?" You smiled, "well, we did fought pretty hard, and I remembered he had a black eye on his left side." Tony responded, "he's fine, all healed. Super solider side effect, he and John Walker has the same ability of healing faster." You nod, "I need therapy Tony, can you ask Pepper if she can set me an appointment with hers?" Your response had Tony face filled with relief, "sure kid." Suddenly, his face changed, "Tony? What is it?" He didn't want to bring it but it was irritating him, "Bruce found another encrypted file, how many are there?" Hydra is still full of surprises, "Hydra, caused a lot of trauma and painful experiments on me. I'll give you some of the codes that I could remember."

Dr. Cho, arrives and examined you, "how are you feeling?" She's so polite but she was afraid that you might be mad at her for not giving you the sedation, "in pain, but I'm okay." Her face curved with a small smile, "we can have you sleep here for at least two weeks or do you rather sleep in your room?" You hated hospital bed and the one you are laying on is very uncomfortable, "oh, my room please? This bed is very uncomfortable." You tried to get up but stabbing urged your back to not move, "easy, y/n. I'll help you but I just got to do something really quick-" Tony's response was cut short as someone came in and offered to help you. "I can take her." You looked up and it was Bucky.

His face is healed faster than yours, but the guilt feeling was still there when you fought him. "Thank you, but I don't want to cause trouble." He shrugs, "it's not a problem at all, unless you still don't want to.." He waited for your approval, then you nodded. He approaches to you but instead, he carried you and ignored Tony's and Dr. Cho's reaction with grinning on their faces.

Suddenly, you felt safe and protected in his arms, like if your life was depended on. Everyone looked at the two of you, then you hear shouting, without a doubt it was Sharon must of seen you being carried by Bucky. You didn't need to look at her, but visualizing her face, you ignored. He opens your door and set you down on your bed, "you okay?" His blue eyes were the most distracting and yet beautiful part that you were attracted to. "Yes. Thank you," you smiled and he nods, "um.. Barnes?" He turned to you, "I forgive you." He stood still of a minute, "thanks. I forgive you, too." He leaves and left your door slightly open as Carol enters so Sharon doesn't come in. "Hey, you're feeling better yet?" She's much prettier than Sharon, "still in pain, but I'll manage." She got up and was about to close your door, but you stopped her. "No. Leave it half open, I want to hear what she says." You and Carol hear her shouting and Nat's tone became stronger when she started to insult you more. "Call this a break-up, I'm done!"

As Bucky raised his voice at her, a brief silence stood in the room and Carol's face widen to a smile as you did the same.

Hearing those words from Bucky's mouth, it was a tear from Sharon's heart. You and Carol listened and she smirks, "none of us liked her, but we had to accept her for Nat and Bucky. Don't get me wrong, she can fight, but being conceited? Ugh, it annoys me." As she rolled her eyes, Bucky continues to speak and the two of you just stayed quiet and listened.

"You never wanted to get to know her, yet you insinuated that she was the enemy. So tell me Sharon, how do you know if she's the enemy? Because you never once mentioned of how you knew her name." Sharon stood quiet and everyone was waiting an answer, "Stark mentioned her name to me once so what's the problem? She attacked my friends and ex-boyfriend but she's living with you guys? C'mon don't be stupid. Clearly, she's hiding something." Her tone changed to fear and annoyance, "First of all Sharon, I never mentioned her name to you. I mentioned to Wanda so how do you know her name?

The only person who's hiding something is you." Tony crossed his arms and waited for Sharon's response, "ugh. I'm out of here." She takes her jacket and turns to Bucky, "Call me, once your ready to apologize." Bucky tilt his head as she walks away, "don't hold your breath. And don't bother to come back, because it's over." The elevator rings and she left.

While you ignored the conversation of Bucky and Sharon, you and Carol discussed on military stories and how you were the first of women to enlist the marines in 1948. "At first, I was a desk clerk, but I was offered to be chosen for combat training. I saved half the men in Vietnam but nearly got captured. I couldn't stop remembering those, I couldn't saved and the villagers, slaughtered, left to die. Then I enrolled to be pilot but I got denied for a leg injury, and I was sent to find Steve Rogers. But I froze to death and someone found me. I did try to enlist the marines again back in 1960 but I was discharged when I reported my lieutenant for sexual harassment but I had proof and slip under the rug. Since now, I didn't look back but I do miss the 40's, since I time traveled, I wanted to fix my errors but it was already done."

Carol's reaction grew soft and respected that you were the first women allow to enlist the marines and she was an air force pilot, "my times as a pilot was amazing. Traveled the world, fly in the sky, seeing the sunset above the horizon, I never regret it. Not even once, but I lost my best friend, Maria Rambeu to cancer. She was flight or die, her and her little girl, Monica, she calls me aunt Carol. They were my family, back in the 1980's slightly it was easy but man, so much to experience." Her eyes widen from her stories and you both laughed.

"Don't get me wrong, half the boys, here were military men but I never met a Marinette. I think you and I will get along very well." She smiled and you both handshake each other. She asked if you wanted anything from the kitchen, "no thanks, I'm good." She was about to leave, "Hey." She turns, "yeah?" You remembered a memory, when you saw a fighter jet for the first time, "the 80's was my favorite year too." You formed a smile, and she smiled back and left.

Tony knocks, "y/n?" You waved at him to enter, "Hi Tony? You ready for the codes?" You didn't forget from the last talk, "we can do this another time-" you shook your head. "I don't want to hide anything from you. If necessary, I don't mind being back to a cell again." Immediately, he shook his head, "that's out of the question. I'm not going to put you back and make you relive that experience." You calmed him down by rubbing his hands, "I'm just saying, if you need to, okay? The tower cells, aren't that bad. I mean it has lights and glass windows all over. Less claustrophobic." He arched his head up, "and yet, you still like to stress me out more." You gave Tony a mischievous grin, "on the desk? Grab a pad and pen." He grabs the items and sat in front of you, "you have 2045, the next five are; 0418, 1948, 0310, 0218, and try 1893 or 1993." He nods and offered you dinner in return, "I'm not hungry. Thank you." He gave you the 'you need to eat something' look, "okay, if there's chicken soup, I'll eat that." He nods and spoke with the chef.

Sam knocked, "Hey muffin." You raised a brow from the nickname he gave you, "uh.... muffin?"

He chuckled, "I saw you eyeing on my buttermilk muffin yesterday morning," you squint your eyes, hoping that he didn't see you doing that. "Ugh, Sam. I'm so sorry for doing that but it was my favorite muffin. I'm so sorry." He laughs and brought you one, your eyes widen. "I thought you might want one, I hid it behind me so you wouldn't see." He placed it next to you on top of the cabinet as Wanda brought in your soup.

Clenching your hands together and the anger is about to come out, "my anger hasn't been easy for me. I get uncontrollable thoughts, and I can't stop." She writes, "ok. Let's focus on what make you happy." You thought for a second and forgot what happy feels like, you lost those feelings since a child and all you knew was hate. "I don't know what makes me happy, I lost my parents were murdered when I was seven. Then traveled through time, served in the marines, swapping from different foster homes until I met the Starks. Then Barnes and I escaped from HYDRA with our two kids for four months, until they were murdered. I don't know what makes me happy."

Raynor's face soften and sadden from hearing everything that you went through. "We can try to a flashback memory and see it relaxes you." You closed your eyes, and the first thought was Bucky. You tried again and a memory of a dance class with you and being alone with the music, "I hear music. I'm in a room, dark, a/c is on, and mirrors all over." You opened your eyes, "I used to dance before being captured by Hydra again. It was the most important thing in my life. I missed it, so much. When the Starks took me in, I would babysat Morgan, and we would sing along songs. I miss her laugh."

You smiled then frowned those happy memories are gone. "You can try to dance again. There's a lot of dance studios here in Manhattan. You should try it." You agreed but hesitate to try dancing again. After three hours of your session, Raynor leaves and you escorted her in front of the elevator, "you do realize that your next session is two weeks. And I hope to see some progress." You shook your hand to hers as the elevator door opens and Sharon's presence made you quiver. "Well, I assume that you're still here. Oh, Dr. Raynor, we're you here to see Bucky?" She was about to answer that she was sent to see you, but you gave her a shook and lied to Sharon. "Yes, I was and Ms. Odinson-Cruz is just escorting me to my car." You ignored Sharon's attitude and followed Raynor to her car. "Do you want to talk about her?" She asked you with side-eyeing you, "in the next session. I promise."

"Sharon, what are you doing here?" Natasha comes in after her wedding planner canceled the meeting. "Nattie, I want to help you with the wedding-" Nat stepped back and shook her head. "No. I was going to call you and tell you that you are no longer invited to my wedding." Sharon's face went red, "what do you mean?! I've helped you with everything even your dress! Is it because of her?! She really stuck a pen up your-" Nat's face became furious after insulting you, "Hey! It's not about y/n! What I can't stand is that why you hate y/n so much that you don't know one thing of her life!"

Bucky and Bruce heard the commotion and sees Sharon. Then you entered and walked fast to your bedroom. Sharon begins to follow you and force pushed her off from you. "You see?! She wants to hurt me!" That's it, you had enough of her fake words, but Pepper gently grabs your hand and took you to her office. "It's not worth, sweetie. Come on." Pepper was like a mother figure to you, since you were seventeen, she and Tony took you in after the last foster family abused you.

"Can't you guys see that she hit me first?! Bucky grabbed Sharon's arm and had enough of her, "I told you that you and I are over so why in the hell are you back?" Her tone softens, "I was hoping that you would take me back and you would've apologized." Her fingers played to Bucky's arm and moved away from her. "No. I mean it. It's over and don't come back!" Bruce approaches to Sharon, "I think you should leave now Carter" You and Pepper returned and Sharon gave you a dead stare, as she leaves. Nat apologized to you and you gave her a sincere smile, "don't worry about it. Oh, I forgot to tell you that your wedding planner canceled because her kid is sick." Nat smiled, "yeah she called me and explained to me. Thank you though."

Carol and two guys came in, "I'm telling you, Sharon's a piece of work. I'm actually glad Barnes called it off from her." The two guys stopped and their reaction of seeing you was a little immature, "woah. Who's the new girl? Because I found a new date for the wedding." His tone was completely offensive, and the other guy was trying to be macho/nice, "Lemar! That's not the way to talk to a lady. I'm sorry, he's just jetlagged." You liked his manners, but you felt his heart that was filled with insensitive, "it's fine, I guess. I'm y/n by the way," he reached out for a handshake. "I'm Joaquin Torres and this guy here is-" he bumps him off to the side, "Hi. I'm Lemar Hoskins, known as Battlestar" He raised his brows, "like the board game?"

You asked him and almost everyone smirked a laugh. And a tall blonde guy enters, "so this is the new goddess from Asgard?" Lemar and Joaquin stunned by the response, "wait you're a goddess?! So that means you're-" you finished their sentence, "I'm related to Thor and Loki Odinson. They are my cousins, but I looked up to them as brothers." The blonde reached a handshake, "I'm John Walker known as US Agent. I assume Hoskins and Torres introduced themselves to you." You sensed his heart is broken and remorse. But you decided not to ask him, "yes they did. They were... welcoming."

Bucky stood next to Bruce and noticed envy eyes are piercing at you. "Bucky, you okay?" He shook his head and jealousy is running through his veins, "yeah. I'm fine." He walks away and you sense his soul that he was jealous. Carol comes up to you and you both talked with Nat about the wedding. She wanted to ask you something but is quite nervous about your response, "y/n? I want to ask you something."

You nod, "sure. What is it?" She grabs both your hands, "will you come to my wedding?"

Surprised by her question, "I'm honored Nat. But Sharon might be there, and I don't want to ruin your day." She respected your decision but she's giving you a hook, "she's no longer invited and Barnes is part of the groomsmen." You raised a brow, "are you using him to luring me into the wedding? As a bridesmaids?" She tilts her head, "well he's going to be alone in the pictures so..." you shook your head then smiled, "okay. I'd be honored to go as your bridesmaids."

She hugged you tightly and Wanda along with Carol are excited that you are coming. "Okay. Tomorrow we will be looking for bridesmaids dresses. And get some brunch as well. It will be fun." Wanda squealed with joy and Carol was hesitant to wear a dress, same as to you.

As you were getting ready for bed, you skipped dinner again, but Wanda lied to Tony for you that she took you to eat already. So, you dressed in pajamas of long sleeves and pants, setting some soft music and noticed that Pepper installed the nightlight she gave you when you used to live with them. It was a small pink butterfly, at the time, you were afraid of the dark but now, you're afraid of your nightmares.

1955, it was hot, and you were covered in sweat. You failed to find Steve Rogers, but the marines found you, frozen back in 1949. They sent you to combat war in Vietnam. The villagers were slaved by the enemy and US soldiers were captured. Mostly dead bodies were in a pile on the far left, it was gruesome, and the smell was horrid. Young girls and women were being sex slaves, while the men were tortured or ended up being workers for them. One man stood out from the cage, he was body built but he was given the serum same as Steve, but they still tortured him. You and fifteen soldiers were in hiding but in distance about fifty ft.

"Wait, we have to wait for orders." A solider patted your shoulder, "if we wait, they're going to get killed." He stopped you, "we have orders. Just wait." You gave up but saw a helicopter above you, "so much for hiding." You shouted and used your magic to take down the Vietnamese pilots and crashed. You and the soldiers rushed to save the captives and villagers, among them there were children as well. You reached to the cages and saw the man, "we're here to save you. What is your name?" He stared at you, amazed that you are a young Marinette, "I'm Isaiah. You're a solider, ma'am?" You broke the lock and opened the gate, "yes sir. US Marine Odinson-Cruz, you're army?"

You asked as leading them to a shed where the enemies locked their weapons. "Yes. I was sent here to protect the villagers, but we got captured." Then you both saw three US helicopters and rushed down for safety. Then a woman begged you to take her daughter out. You did and carried her, saving some children but they were being shot and some were left behind. You tried to go back for the rest of them, but the missile launched to the sheds were half the villagers and children tried to escape. "NO!" You tried to save them, but Isaiah stopped you, "No. It's too late! There gone!" He grabbed you by the arm, "I CAN STILL SAVE THEM! LET ME GO!" You shouted at him to let go, he carried you by the waist, "No you can't!" You squirmed your way out but several soldiers carried you in, "NOOOOO!!!!

You hear the screaming from the victims and tossing your head back and forth, the screams were getting louder. You couldn't take it and didn't realize that it was your screams. Several loud footsteps barged in your room, "Y/n! Wake-up! Marinette! Wake-up!"

You woke by panting breaths and eyes were in tears and Carol was in front of you. "Carol? I couldn't save them." You were losing your words, "I....I...I... couldn't I..." continuous cry and she rubbed your head. "Shhh. It's okay. Just breathe... breathe." She hugs you and you saw Tony, Sam, Torres, and Bucky on your doorway. You closed your eyes and Wanda enters worriedly, "is she okay?" Carol looked at her, "she's fine." You looked at the time, it was eleven-thirty.

"Y/n? Who couldn't you save?" Carol asked as Wanda sat next to you. You took heavy breaths, "the villagers and Ch ...children. I watched them die; I ran back for them but....it was too late." You couldn't continue to speak, and Wanda rubbed your back, "you did the best you could." You laid back to bed, and Tony existed, and the guys did too. But Bucky didn't want to leave you, "Barnes. I'll stay with her, tonight. You have a mission tomorrow so, you need rest." He nods at Carol, but he stopped, "Hey. Why did you call her Marinette? Was she-" Carol cuts Bucky off, "she was a marine." He had no words, and he went to his bedroom as she went to grab her blanket and pillow.

Wanda wanted to stay too, since she has nothing to do but the dress appointment for Nat's wedding. "Carol, if you don't mind, I want to stay too." She was going to say something, but Nat entered with a pillow and blanket, "I guess it's a sleepover." She smiled and Carol was allowing it, but you hesitated. "Girls, I really do appreciate it but, you don't have to do this." Shy smile appeared from your face, "No. We want to, also we're worried about you. Please, don't think that you are bothering us. We all want to help you." Nat rubbed your leg, and you felt safe around them. You nod and Carol shared the lounge couch with Nat as Wanda placed pillows between you and her, so she can sleep next to you. "Nat, what about your dress appointment?"  She shook her head as she waves her hand, "don't worry about it. We still have time; we can go on Wednesday." She smiled, her concerns for you felt strange but it was feeling something inside.

The girls stayed and tried to sleep but couldn't. You felt like someone was watching you, carefully you turned to your left, facing the doorway. A shadow was there, you squint your eyes, and it was Bucky. You blinked your eyes, and he's gone. 'Why was he watching me?'

You woke up and it was six-thirty in the morning. You couldn't stop thinking about the nightmare you had. You need to see Raynor and quietly you got up and dressed. Leaving a note for the girls so they don't have to worry about you. You requested an Uber and headed downstairs to meet. Luckily, she gave you her card and called her.

She answered, "hello?"

You responded, "Good morning, Dr. It's y/n. I'm sorry for waking you up this early but, I really need to see you. It's an emergency." You started to cry, "okay. Where are you right now?" 

Trying to hold the tears as you were about to answer her, took a deep breath.

"I'm heading to your office." You answered her, "okay good. Give me thirty minutes and I'll be right there. Just tell the clerk that it's an emergency and she will let you in. Y/n? It's going to be okay."

You nod and hang up. Arriving to her office and notified the clerk that it's an emergency, she let you inside. Waiting was like a ticking game, you cried softly and she arrived. Leading you to the room session.

"What happen?" Raynor asks you. You looked out the window and wiping your tears away, "I couldn't save them." She sat across from you, "who couldn't you save?" She asked and started to write, "I joined the marines in 1948, I was sent to find Steve Rogers's body, but I failed and froze to death. Someone found me and brought me back. In 1955, I was sent to rescue fellow soldiers that were captured and villagers. I could've done more but... I... left them there...to ...die" you broke in tears. Rubbing your hands together, "only half of the children were safe but the rest.... murdered. I watched them...die." Raynor's face stayed firm but she knew how you felt, she served in the military as well. But she kept professional to you, "I served in the military as well, you did the best could. I know you saw a horrific memory that can't be removed. But I'm proud that you came here."

You lift your head up from her response, "you want to live and bypass this, but it's still new to you but I can promise you that it will get better."

Your eyes were tiring from the cries, but you stayed focus, "Dr., how can I stop or control these nightmares?" She tilts her head and no reaction from her face, "unfortunately, there is no answer to that. But if you are comfortable? You can also write a journal of those nightmares. And there's also that other thing I mentioned to you from the last session." You looked confused and the thought came, "dancing part?" Raynor nodded. "Not yet, I... only dance when I'm alone. Not used to have an audience." Raynor writes and asked, "you haven't told James yet?" You shook your head, "I am going to, but.... the right time." She writes again, "I guess you write things that I'm not doing right." She nods and smiles, "why the smile?" She smirks, "Ms. Odinson-Cruz, you remind me of someone, who hates the notebook thing." You thought of it and smiled, Bucky. "Well, I don't hate it, it was more like an 'ok need to know'."

After an hour of an emergency session, you felt better. Then your phone rings, and it's Nat. You answered and didn't realize that a black sedan pulled up and dragged you in. You gasped and yelled, "No!" You're wearing a necklace that Tony gave you years ago and remembered that it's a tracking device, so you clicked it. You yelled again while on the phone, "NAT!!!!!" A punched in the face, you passed out.

The men returned from a mission. Then, Loki along with Thor arrived. Nat and Maria Hill, a shield agent searched for any surveillance of your captured while Carol is talking to the police and found your phone, the screen cracked. Wanda is trying to communicate with your mind, but no response. Tony arrives and Pepper notified him that you were taken by Hydra.

"Why was she out, in the first place?" Nat handed him the note you left, 'it was an emergency, had to see Dr. Raynor. Will be back soon. - y/n'. The police interviewed Dr. Raynor after viewing the incident, she was the one that called the police.

The police needed more information of you and needed to see your room. Luckily, Bucky escorted them to your room, "Don't break anything." His tone was cold and protective, he stood by the doorway as they were carefully searched the room. Suddenly, Hill's reaction of a familiar face appeared on the surveillance, her mouth was half opened and called Tony. "Stark! You need to see this."

She replayed and paused the video and his expression was speechless, "it can't be. He's dead." He pulled up the surveillance to everyone and Bucky's face turned pale of what he saw.  "That's Pierce."

The team spend three days of searching you. Everyone cared and tried to find anything. Then a young brunette twenty-year-old, came in. "Mom?" Pepper forgot that Morgan was going to visit for the weekend before heading back to college. She approaches to her, hugging and kissed her cheek, "Hey, sweetie. Um...something came up and... well" She looked confused, and her reaction went blank when she saw her father. Tony sees his daughter, all grown up, "Maguna?" In tears, he sees his daughter. Morgan cries as she ran and hugs him, tightly. "How?! And... I... Dad." She lost her words and hugged him more. She couldn't believe that her father's alive, "I missed you so much. You're so...grown up!"

They both laughed and her necklace lit up. Before Tony died, he invented the same necklace for y/n and gave the same for Morgan. Her smile went to a speechless face, "Dad! Is y/n alive?!" Pepper tries to calm her down, "Honey? She's alive but they found her. Tony, why don't you take a break. You two need some quality time." Morgan nods and hugs her parents.

The freezing air, prickly your skin and woke you up. Strapped to the bed, your eyes pace around and relieved that they didn't remove your necklace. A man with grey hair and wearing a suit approach to you, your eyes widen and couldn't believe that he's alive. "Ms. Cruz, what a pleasure to see you again." You shook your head, "you're supposed to be dead. How are you alive, Pierce?!" You exclaimed and he violently grabbed your face, "it was your fault and the winter solider that ruined my plan. Now, you be a good pet and maybe I'll spare your life. And maybe... we won't go after you precious husband." He releases and Stryker approaches to you, "you will be our perfect lab rat, once again."

The guards took you to a lab and you saw a rectangular shape clear pool and a machine on top with ten needle guns. Rumlow grabs your arm, "I'm not done with you yet. You will always be mine." You squirmed as he touches your face and sets you on the pool, facing upwards. The doctors placed a breathing mask for your mouth. They placed a video camera on the far right, "when this is over, make sure they get the message. Hopefully they won't rescue her, this time." An evil smile appeared on Pierce face, along with Stryker and Rumlow. You prayed to yourself and closed your eyes and saw your uncle and mother, 'mother, uncle and god.. give me strength. Make sure my families are well taken care. I don't care of what happens to me. Keep my husband safe. God, I'm in your hands now.' The machine starts and you see needles swirling and coming towards you, slow and it inserts in your face and body.

Bruce and Vision monitored on the surveillance system and got an notification of a live video feed. Bruce jumped out of his seat and Vision follows, "Mr. Stark, we found something that may led to Ms. Odinson-Cruz." He looked at the laptop and Bruce noted, "Tony. It's a live video feed." Tony's eyes widen and hesitate to open, "put it on." Bruce opened and set it on the projector as everyone is watching.

'This is the new project of the future. The weapon is added with adamantium metal, and our volunteer is well behaved female with powers of a witch. She will be the new soldier for Hydra. The machine starts and inserts your face and body. The needles burn through your bones. Your thoughts were running on pain, and memories of your two families: the avengers and the revengers. The memories of your husband and kids, you screamed in pain and heart rate is going off the charts. The team watched you, suffering from the pain, you wanted to die but you did. 'She's dead... a brief silence from the video. Then a portal opens and it's Strange along with Logan and his team. He sees you dead from the video. Tony sees Logan, "is that live?!" He asks, "Logan. I'm sorry. They took her and..."

Before he continued, a sound of heart beats echos the video. 'She's alive. Yes! We did it, Stryker. Now, clear her memory. Brief of silence again, No. We didn't agree on that. Clear her damn MEMORY!! You woke and freed yourself from the pool, screaming and adamantium claws came out of your fists. Gasps, speechless reactions from the whole team, "oh shit," Logan murmurs to himself, y/n is now a mutant.

You fought off the agents and stabbed Pierce into the chest, "This... is... for my husband!" You stabbed him again and Rumlow shoots you, but healed quickly, you ran towards him and knocked the video off.

Walker shouts, "we can't save her now. She's gone crazy, you saw... w... w... what just happened?!" Logan looks at Walker with dead eyes, "Hey. We're going to save her whether you like it or not!" Bucky couldn't believe what he just saw, now that he believes you, he joins Logan to rescue you. "Logan! I'm going with you." Logan nods and Sam, Nat, Carol, and Tony follow. "Friday, do we have a location?" He asks his AI computer, 'no, boss. There is not location finder from the video feed.' Logan turns to Tony, "I know where she is." Bucky asks, "how do you know?" Logan smirks at him, "because they did that to me."

(This chapter will have two parts. 1st one is the reader and the second will be Bucky's pov)

You died....and a hand lifting you up. It was your mother, you ran towards her and hugged her, "darling. I missed you. So much pain caused sadness and unfairness in your life. But it's not time yet. Míja, you have to fight." You teared up, "I can't. I don't want to fight anymore." Then you hear two little boys laughing and playing with your father, and a mysterious man along with them. He turns and... it's your husband, James.

The boys ran towards you and couldn't believe that they are here. "My boys. I missed you." You kissed their foreheads and realized that they are safe. "Momma, you need to wake up." You shook your head, "no. I want to stay, with you." James comes up to you, "the boys are safe. I will take care of them." He gets close to you, "my love. You must fight; he needs you." You looked at him, "the other me, needs you. He can't wait any longer." He shed a tear and kissed you, refusing to let him go. "Cariña, we will be together soon. I love you." An echo of Pierce's voice distances your dream, 'wipe her memory'. Your eyes began to change colors as you heard his voice again, 'I said wipe her memory, DAMMIT!

You broke free from the straps, eyes turned red, arose from the pool and screamed from Pierce's threat. The adamantium claws appears from your fists, "NOOOOO!!!!!!" Rumlow shoots you and jumped off from the pool and lunged at Pierce as you stroked him with your claws to his chest. He screamed his agony, eyes widen with horror, "This!" You twisted your claws, "this is for my family!" Took his last breath and dies, the agents began to shoot you and escaped. Knocked the camera down and you attacked a guard and dragged his body along and removed his clothes, for you to put on. Running through the hall and you saw a nurse, "please, don't kill me." You sensed her soul; she removed her shoes and gave it to you as she handed her car keys. You took it and ran out, more guards approached. You attacked every single one, lifting and clawing them.

You made your way to the car and drove off. Didn't care where you were and headed to the nearest town or city, but they followed you. Taking back roads, trying to lose them and they were close enough to blast you with a supersonic gun. You leaped off from your seat and headed to the forest. You ran further and stopped, catching your breath, then you smelled fear and a small growl was behind you. Two little wolf cubs were lost, and they lead you to them. Since Rumlow and Stryker is looking for you, in need of hiding. You saw the cub's mother in pain, its paw is caught by a trap. You lifted a single adamantium claw and picked the lock of the trap.

The wolf growled but you bowed your head to the wolf's paw. Your mother used to telepath with animals, but you couldn't. You tried to communicate with it and freed the wolf. You placed both hands on the injured paw, closing your eyes, and sang a tune to heal. The wound healed and the wolf licked your face of thanking you. The agents were getting close, and you ran as the wolf did the same. Suddenly, you saw a rare white wolf by a distance, it was mesmerizing with white snow fur with blue eyes, it went away. Your face couldn't react to the beauty of the wolf, but you kept running.

You saw the white wolf again, tilting its head and you gazed in the eyes, it looked familiar to you. "Bucky?" You asked and it ran away, of course you followed it. You noticed on the tall trees and saw a paper of a red leaf on the ground. Soaked in mud and soil but it was a flag. Canada. You're in Canada, looking everywhere for the wolf but it was gone. You wandered and led yourself to a cliff. 'Woah' you backed up and looked for a different way. The sky was getting dark soon, you needed to find a place to sleep.

You slept in a abandoned truck and pulled your arms inside your body to use the sleeves as a blanket. You managed to sleep.

The next morning, you were wakened by a loud soaring noise. Hydra, you thought they found you but it wasn't them. But you saw their trucks following a big aircraft. Looking at it closely, it's the quinjet. 'The Avengers'.

Chapter Text

The video ended. Everyone was in shock, but Tony and Logan's reaction were in disbelief and angered of how Hydra used her as a lab rat. "Friday, do we have a location?" He asked his AI computer, 'no boss. The location finder from the video is blocked.' She responded and Logan stood up, "I know where she is." Everyone looked at him by surprised and I asked, "how do you know that?" Logan swiftly turned to me, "because they used the same lab where I was created." Walker aggressively got up from his chair, "we can't go back for her. They turned her into a-" my jaw clenched and Logan shoves Walker against the wall, "Into a what?! I dare you to finish that sentence!" He growls at him, Tony and a African American guy wearing shades stood by Logan, "Hey. We don't need to start a fight, but we have to go save her."

"Okay. Strange? How many more heroes are there in her world? That we don't know of?" Tony wasn't wrong but he could've asked without that tone of insult, "was that tone even necessary, Stark?" Sarcastically, I asked Tony.

I shook the guy's hand, "I'm Bucky Barnes." He nods, "Blade. This is Wade Wilson, Elektra, and Frank Castle. You already knew Logan, have you found her yet?" He turned to Logan, and he pulled a map of Canada. "She's here. An old laboratory, hidden beneath the ground. I remember where I was taken there and turned my bones to adamantium steel." Nat looked at the map and pointed the roads that we should take, "there's multiple roads but is it possible that it could be abandoned by now? We all saw that she escaped." She's right, y/n could be anywhere, but Wanda exclaimed. "Tony! Her necklace! You gave her and Morgan the same necklace and placed a tracker. Can you trace it?"

Immediately, Bruce went to the computer and Morgan gave him her necklace and traced it. Almost, everyone got up from the seats, it's moving. "She's alive," Torres watched the coordinates of her location, "it's still moving but she's leading into the forest. There's no building where she can hide." Torres points out that there's nothing, then it caught my attention on something if she was running from Hydra. "Unless she finds an abandoned vehicle. She could've spent the night there at least by tomorrow morning." Tony looked around, "then it's settled; Logan and your team, Clint, Wanda, Bucky, Sam and I will rescue her. Then Bruce and-" Morgan cuts her father. "I'm going with you guys."

Everyone's eyes widen, "No. That's out of the question." Bruce stepped in, "Tony. Morgan has been a great help at the tower, whenever she's here from college. She's master's in computer science and human biology." Tony's brows furrowed, "I'm not putting my daughter's life in danger!" He shouts and her face angered "what about y/n?! You and mom took her in, cared and loved her like she was your own!" His face turned furious and shouts at her, "yes! But she's not by blood!"

Her eyes were filled with tears, Tony realized what he said to her, "Morgan. I'm sorry-" She walked away. Pepper's reaction from Tony's response, "Tony, you really crossed the line." She walks away, following Morgan and I stepped in. "Wait. Let me try to talk to her," she nodded. I looked for her and she's in y/n's room. 'How did she have a key to her room?' I knew that they both have a special bond. I knocked but the door slowly opened, and I see her grab a backpack and putting some of y/n's clothes in a backpack. "Oh, hey Barnes. I'm just packing some clothes for her. And she's going to need some snacks, so I packed her favorite."

I got closer to her, gently grabbed her hand and she sobbed. I hugged her, she really wants to help but as much as hate to admit but Tony's right. It's too dangerous for her to come, plus her training isn't done. "Hey, I know you want help but, your father is right. He just got back and doesn't want to lose his daughter." She pushed back, "y/n is also his daughter!" She wipes her tears, "I'm sorry. It's just I looked up to y/n as a big sister that I always wanted." She finished packing and chuckled, "you know, when I was a kid, she always took care of me. She even sneaked some candy to me when I get in trouble." I smiled; I can imagine her with kids.

"My favorite memory is when I get sick or she puts me to bed, she would sing to me. Even when I fall asleep, she's next to me, sleeping." She wipes her tears again, I never seen Morgan cry before. Only when she was four, the time at Tony's funeral. She hands me the backpack, "Barnes, please bring my sister back. I got my dad back and I haven't seen her for a long time. And knowing that she's alive but captured? I can't lose her." I'm not good with promises but that day, I made sure to bring y/n alive and safe. "I promise, I'll bring her back." I hugged her and Pepper sees me with Morgan. Mouthing my words to her, 'she needs you' she approaches to Morgan and hugs her. As I was about to leave with the backpack, I hear her words. "Mom, we can't lose her again."

Deep down, I remember the dream I had with y/n. A beautiful young woman, honey brown eyes, with a broken soul, I will bring her back and trying to resist my feelings, but I can't anymore, I'm attracted to her. 'I'm coming, y/n. I'm coming for you.'

As we are getting ready to leave, Sam got his suit ready as well with Logan and his team. Sam sat next to me as I was loading my weapons. "Hey. You, okay?" I nodded without looking at him, he sensed that my feeling for y/n is surreal and being tested. He patted my back, "she's going to be okay." Swiftly I looked at Sam, my eyes filled with fear and anger, "I still caused her pain, and I can't forgive myself. But I know that we will bring her home."

Chapter Text

(This chapter will be in two parts. This is the reader and the second Bucky's pov.)

The soaring noise shook the car; you pace your head back and forth. Hesitated to get out, eventually you did, the aircraft was not too big to be a plane and not too small as a jet, but it's the avengers. You run towards the quinjet but you see the Hydra trucks by the distance and leaped up to the trees and hid yourself. You see the agents about to shoot your team and Wanda shield everyone. But one of the agents used a sonic gun, the noise violently blasted a loud sound and Wanda collapsed as she tried to cover her ears.

Tony used his missiles to blast the trucks then; Hydra tried to fire him. But Sam threw his shield and caused a triple explosion of three trucks.

Then, you saw Frank shooting the agents as he tried to help Wanda, nearly surrounded then Bucky jumped in front and attacked several soldiers, punched and shooting them. You smiled for a short time and reality come back.

You were about to help but, you see a Hydra agent below you. Your claws rise from your fist, jumped on top, covered his mouth and violently stabbed him. Then another agent sees you, your eyes turned to a bright Topaz color and fought back. Six agents went down, you hear both your teams were captured, as you were about to help your team, a big, hefty soldier grabbed you, and five other agents approached, and you smirked at the guy in front of you. Kicked him in his groin and stabbed him with your foot. You attacked the other five mostly stabbing and killing them. You chopped the big guy's head and watched Stryker punching Logan as Rumlow did the same to Bucky.

By the distance you whistled and everyone's eyes were on you. You walked towards them, covered in blood and you threw the dead soldiers head at Stryker. He smirks and see's you walked slow. Your face angered when you see the two threating and assaulting both your teams. "Y/n!" Stryker shouts, you ignored and kept walking, "Stand down, y/n!" Rumlow shouts and you kept walking. You sensed fear in his heart, finally. An agent was about to grab you but your left fists, its claw rises and your right hand along arm turned to a much large blade as you stabbed the agent, your eyes turned red. Rumlow's face was fear all over, another agent comes to you, leaped over him and killed him from the back. The soldiers continued to shoot you, and ran to the trees, climbed up, trying to lure them away from your team.

Telepathically, you gave Wanda half your magic. She gets up and tricked the minds of the soldiers and shoots each other. They were freed and split to teams of two, while Logan and Wade went after you as the rest fight off the other soldiers. You kept jumping to the trees and structed two soldiers then Logan and Wade helped you. Later, the three of you, headed back to the team but you sensed that Bucky was in trouble. You leaped from behind him as a soldier was about to shot Bucky, shielding him with your body. He looked at you; eyes widen but he wasn't afraid of you. Hearing heavy running footsteps behind you, you kicked him and a blade rise from your foot and killed him.

A tank approaches, you and Wanda used both magic and lifted the tank together and crushed it. Caused an explosion and shield the team, Nat gets shot and Wade protects her with his blade and continues to kill the soldiers. Clint helps her to an empty truck and Blade shoots the soldiers then he escorts Nat and Clint to the truck, Elektra runs towards the top of the truck and structed the soldier that was hiding to kill Nat and Clint.

You were exhausted "fall back! Everyone fall back!" A solider intercom the rest of the army, Stryker was looking for Rumlow. You killed the last soldier, and you turned to both your teams as they load up to the truck, suddenly a burning sting felt from your side, you screamed in agony. A supersonic scream blasted from your throat and Rumlow flew across towards the soldiers and carried him to their truck as the leave. You realized that Rumlow stabbed you with a knife, made with an Asgardian black blade.

Your vision starts to blur, and an echo of your name sounded distant, "Y/N!!!" Bucky runs towards you and catches you as you collapsed. Wincing in pain, panting as you try to breathe, Bucky removes his glove and tries to ease your breath, but your skin was getting cold, nearly dying. "B...b.." You're trying to tell Bucky to remove the knife, but you couldn't... "b..Barnes... you.n..need to" wincing from the sting and then thunder appears, your cousins.

Loki and Thor see's you scream with the knife on your side, "Brother, no! The blade will kill any of us. Barnes, you have to do it." His eyes widen and shake his head, "no! I can't." Finally, you found your words, "Bucky....please. I'm dying...please.... take it out!" Crying and pleading Bucky to remove the knife, "I'm really sorry..." He grabs the knife and pulls it out from you. Screamed of agony from the release of the blade, you passed out. Bucky carries you to the quinjet.

Chapter Text

As we're getting the quinjet ready, Sam and Frank were gathering the weapons and stacking more of tactical gear. Clint and Nat got their equipment, and he stocked his arrows beside his seat. Tony's suit was already on the quinjet, Morgan never removed his suit. "Barnes!" I turned from my name was called out, Morgan approached to me, and she handed me y/n's iPod, "remember, you promised me." I nodded and shook her hand as Tony watched us.

I insert y/n's iPod in the backpack; Clint, Nat, Wanda, Logan and his team, Tony, Sam and I went to the quinjet and headed to Canada. I concentrated on loading bullets, and I hear Sam and Frank discussing their times in the military. He was a marine, served two tours in Afghanistan and received a purple heart medal. He lost his wife and two kids during a family gathering. I wondered if he was y/n husband but who am I to ask. "Hey." I was distracted and I hear a voice behind me, I turned and it was Frank. "Hey." His eyes were filled with rage, but I knew there was more to his life.

"Can we talk?" He asked as I nodded. He was fixing his guns as well, "you know, y/n and I were in the marines together. Deep down, there was more mystery of her life." 'Why is he telling me this? Did he and y/n have a history?' He was different from his tone and how he talked about her, "how long was she in the military?" I broke the awkwardness, and he lifted a tool to tie the screw of his gun. "She was on and off the marines for years, but when I found out that she nearly got assaulted, I threatened the asshole, and she never went back. I tried to protect her as if she was my niece, but she never wanted to go back. Whenever, she finds something that she's passion about, she never went back." He shyly smiled, "I mean, I don't know if you and her have some bond or friendship, but..keep her safe. I can't remember the last time she ever smiled." He got up and his words strucked me, she hasn't smiled for a long time.

Five hours and thirty minutes later, we arrived to Vancouver. I slept for a good three hours, and we all got our gears and head on foot. Clint and Blade checked for any Hydra trucks or army, nothing so far. Tony scanned and traced the tracking of y/n. "It says that she's ten miles down to the forest, Sam, Wanda and I will take the air and you guys' head on foot." We walked and Wade starts to complain, "ughhh, why can she just surprise us and get this over with? I'm dying to kill somebody already!"

Elektra reasons with him, "Wade, we don't need that right now. We have to focus; our world is different from theirs." Then, we hear trucks coming in and bullets were flying everywhere, Wanda shield us and a soldier used a sonic ray gun and blasted on her, she collapsed and covered her ears. I ran to her and started to shoot back. Clint used his grenade arrows and clobbered two trucks. Sam threw his shield and three other trucks exploded while, Frank launched a flash grenade and we both took on the soldiers and Logan lunged at them, as he stabbed them with his claws. I see Rumlow getting out from the truck and and singled a group to look for her.

Nat jumped on one of the soldiers, choking him with her legs and punched him, cold out. It reminded me of how she defended herself when we fought, at the time I was the winter soldier. We were being outnumbered, and Tony used a blast ray from his hand to knock the army out. But they got us, we surrendered. "Logan!" Stryker appears and approaches to him and Rumlow got me, mocking me with a grin on his face. "All this? For a bitch?" His comment raged my veins and punched him as he did the same to me. "Let the girl go, take me instead! You made her life miserable and torture her more?! For what?!" Logan's anger flattered Stryker and grabbed his face, "She's the perfect solution for us. Now, we can start over with her." A whistle echoed and we all saw y/n.

Covered in blood and threw something at Stryker, it was a soldier's head. He calls her to stop but she kept walking, "y/n! Stand down!" Rumlow shouts at her but kept ignoring. Her eyes turned red and her claws appears on her left fist, then her right hand and arm transformed into a large blade, probably the shape of either a sword or a katana. Amazed of her new ability but I wasn't afraid of her, Rumlow on the other hand, fear had his eyes. She attacked and lured them out to chase her, she climbed up to the trees and leaped furthermore in the forest.

Wanda was still injured but a black glow helped her heal and she tricked some of the soldiers to shoot each other. We're freed and split to teams; Sam, Tony, and Wanda got the sky, Clint, Nat, Blade, and Elektra got the trucks. Logan and Wade followed y/n to help her, while Frank and I continued to be on the ground. Still outnumbered, then a tank approaches we almost lost. Then Wanda and y/n used their magic and lifted the tank, crushed it, and exploded in the air. Y/n ran towards me and shield me while a soldier tried to get me from behind. I looked at her, she had fear in her eyes but all I see was her. She knew that I wasn't afraid of her, then she stabbed the guy with her foot, surprised that she had a claw coming out from there.

"Fall back! Everyone fall back!!" The soldiers headed back to a truck; Stryker was looking for Rumlow. I see y/n killed the last remaining soldier and Rumlow was behind her and stabbed her. "NOOOOO!!!" I yelled and a supersonic screamed came out from her, we all went down, covering our ears, and the rays blasted on Rumlow as he flew across the trucks. The soldiers carried him and drove off. She stopped and I ran to her, "Y/N!!!!!" I kept on running she's about to collapse and I got her. Her eyes widen from the stab and we see Thor, using his hammer and blasted on the last truck of HYDRA as it was leaving.

Loki ran towards us, "oh God!" His face in disbelief and tried to help her, but Thor stopped him. "No brother. That blade will kill either of us. Barnes, you have to remove it." Shocked by Thor's comment, I couldn't. I shook my head, "no. I can't, I-" y/n cuts me off, "B... bucky... please... I'm dying. You're the only one can do it. Take it out!" Her eyes filled with tears and the rest of the team were coming. I had no choice, "I'm really sorry." She winced and I took the blade out, she screamed in agony and passed out.

I carried her, covered in her blood. Frank and Logan helped her to the bed, "hang in there, petunia. You're gonna be okay." Frank pleads to her to stay awake, as Logan did the same.

Your eyes were slightly open, and you see Nat shot from her leg. Ears running with a eerie sound, 'we have to find a way to save her, Loki or Thor, can either of you give her blood?' Tony asked, as you reached for Nat's wound, she winced and sees you reaching for her leg.

"Y/n?" She eyes worried when you tried to heal her, placing your hand on her, "y/n! No!" Everyone turned and you sang a melody, "flower... gleam and... glow' closing your eyes but fighting to stay awake... taking deep breaths. "Let... your power shine, make... the clock reverse, bring back what...once was... mine,' you kept wincing and shuddered breathes. A gold beam of light appears on Nat's leg, it didn't burn nor sting her, "Heal what...has...been hurt, change the fates...design, save...what...has been lost,' Everyone's in tears, even Nat and Bucky. "Bring back...what...once was mine, what...once...was...mine." You dropped your hand and passed out, Nat's leg is fully healed, by a distance, you hear everyone calling you to wake up.

You dreamed in Morgan's room, putting her to bed after she sprained her wrist from school, "are you okay? Does it hurt?" You asked her, her eyes gleamed and pouted if she was giving the 'no' answer. "A little, but mommy doesn't believe that Sophie girl, was mean to me." She was being bullied and it was rage, about to take over your mind.

You took her wrist, "I know a trick, to make this better. I promise I won't hurt you." She nods and you sang to her, from the movie 'Tangled' you memorized the words, and her wrist is healed. With joy and excitement in her eyes, she jumped on you and hugged you tightly. "Thank you, sister."

Arriving to the tower, you were taken to the medic room by Bruce, along with Shuri and Wanda. You were needed with blood; Loki tried to donate but he nor Thor were a match. You were O-Negative and a hand raised in the air, it was Torres "I'm O-negative, I can give her blood." Everyone watched through the glass, Bucky's covered with your blood, with glossed eyes, he cried nonstop.

He and everyone's worried about you. He remembered when he saw Rumlow stabbed you, and your face of pain, he couldn't get the image off of his mind.

Wanda escorted Torres to the chair as she strapped him, and Shuri insert a needle to his arm. Strange appears with Dr. Cho, the five were fighting through the hours to save your life. The regenerate machine was brought in and now, it's the waiting game. The blood was enough to keep your heart beating, but Dr. Cho carefully removes the leftover of the stone prickly inside you.

After twelve hours, Dr. Cho exists from the room with Shuri, Bruce, and Strange. Logan, Tony, Loki, Thor, and Frank all got up at the same time, they asked them at the same time. "How is she?" All eyes were on the three who helped you, "okay. That was freaking," Wade mumbled and Clint nudged him with his arm. "She's alive but Shuri's able to stop the bleeding in addition, with Torres's blood? She can survive." Strange detailed the procedure and Dr. Cho claimed about the knife, "what we don't understand is, how did they manage to get an Asgardian stone and created a dagger to kill her?" The look on Loki and Thor, they have no words on how Hydra got it in the first place. "We are going to find out, but I want to wait till she wakes up." Thor exclaimed, his eyes worries and his face turned cold filled with anger that they tried to kill her. But who got the stone?

Bucky removed his suit and showered. Removing the bloodied caked from his hand and chest. His legs slumped down to the shower floor, lips trembled, tears streamed down from his eyes. Your face, he could think of killing Rumlow but it was all about you.

'Y/n, please stay strong and fight for you. I don't want to lose you.' He got up and finished showering and got into clean clothes. He sees Morgan sleeping in your bed, feeling disappointed in himself for failing his promise to Morgan.

He walked away and Sam catches up to him. "Hey, she's alive. But it's the waiting game now." He nods to Sam, but he knew that Bucky's fighting his emotions towards you. He pats him on the shoulder, "Buck. It's okay. Let it all out." With shudder breaths, and his arms trembles, he hugged Sam and cried. "It's okay, bud. I got you." For the first time, Sam sees Bucky crying for someone he barley met and knew that you are special to him.

Bucky visited you every day as he can. From being on missions, he could all think about is you. You were in a coma for a couple of weeks; it's Valentine's Day and no one wanted to celebrate it without you. Unfortunately, Morgan had to return to school, luckily, she and Tony made up. Dr. Cho and Shuri took turns to monitor you and checked if you made any progress. The team brought you get well gifts, but the big teddy bear from Bucky stands out the most. And the flowers from Tony and Walker too.

It's the first of March and still in a coma, but Bucky wanted to try something. He went to the backpack and took out your iPod, Fastly he came in and turned on a song from Roxette. He placed the headphones on your ears, gently and played it. He falls asleep, his head was against your hand, and his hand was on the other hand, sudden moves from your fingers fidgeting. He wakes up from your fingers twitched and your eyes opened. He got up and your eyes traced everywhere and realized where you are. "Barnes?" You asked him with a raspy voice.

"Míja," your mother calls you again. A cricket appears next to you, laying on the wet grass, brushes your arms. Covered in scars, feeling disgusted when you see it. "Míja, wake up." You dressed in a white summer dress with a cardigan, you hugged her. "Mama, I'm done. I don't want to fight anymore, I'm tired." She caresses your face, "it's not time yet. You still have a long way, míja." A tall, slender, very dressed formed, man approached to you. It was your father, "my seashell." Smiling and hugging you. You had a long talk with your father, "he needs you. You may not notice but he visits you, as much as he can." He shows you a vision of Bucky, he prayed and talked to you every day. He bought a big teddy bear as a get-well gift, placed on the floor since the flowers from Tony and Walker took the space.

"Seashell, I know you had a fight with him, but I doesn't feel like you forgave him-" your eyes pierced at your father. "But I did, the day my ba- scars was healed, I told him that I forgave him." Taking your father's hand, "father, I don't know if I can tell him that I was his wife. He might hate me more." You walked with him, "darling, I saw his future. If you stayed, he will love you, til the end of your lives. He might be a little upset but he'll understand why you didn't tell him." He wipes your tears, "Listen to your heart and follow it. Don't lose him."

You mother appears again, "it's time míja. You have to wake up." You hugged them, for one last time. "Before I leave, am I going to be happy again?" They both looked at each other and responded at the same time, "Yes." A river of tears, runs through your eyes and hearing an echo of music..you smiled. Blowing a kiss to your parents and they waved at you, 'okay. I'm coming home. And I need to heal.' You followed the music and it was Roxette playing, you thought of Morgan. You told her that when you get upset or injured music is your way of healing. But it wasn't Morgan who played your ipod, it was Bucky.

Your fingers twitched and it woke Bucky up. He slowing got up and saw your hands moving, "Bruce! "Shuri!" He looked at you, opening your eyes. Blinded by the lights and shivers crawled to your arms. "Barnes?" Your raspy voice caught his attention; tears of joy caught his eyes. "Hey, y/n. You're at the tower, you're okay." He kissed your forehead and your hand. Bruce, Tony, Shuri and Wanda came in and sees you awake.

"Hi, guys." Everyone smiled and hugged you, Bruce wasn't much of a hugger, but he did, after you saved his fiancée from the bullet on her leg. "Bruce, is Nat-" he rubbed your head, "she's okay. Thank you, for healing her." You nodded and Shuri enters. "You must be y/n. I'm Shuri, pleasure to meet you." You shook her hand, "pleasure is all mine." Tony crossed looked at your vitals "how are you feeling kid?" You took a deep breath, "slight of pain but my left side is killing me."

Bruce gave you five milligrams of morphine, and the rest of the team came. They hugged you and you see Bucky smiling at you. 'God, I love his smile. He makes me feel have hope.' And he sees you smile, 'Damn, she has the most beautiful smile. I would protect that smile, she makes me feel like home and hope.' Logan enters and the rest of your team, "Wolfie. I'm glad that your awake." Elektra and Blade barely smiled but they were happy to see you, alive. "You little bat, I'm relieved that made it," Blade hugs you. Elektra sighs with relief and hugs you, "oh you little firecracker, you love trouble."

Frank comes in, tears streamed down from his eyes as he hugs you, "petunia. Have I not taught you enough?" You both chuckled. "I guess not, tío." Lastly, Wade comes in with balloons, candy, and a small stuffed cheetah plushie, "ahh, you bitch! Don't die on any of us anymore!" He leaped over and hugs you. Wincing from his hug, "I can't promise you that...but you're hurting me, Wade." He backed off, "I'm not sorry for that, I ain't losing you, cupcake."

You hear everyone quietly snorting form of laughter, "ugh. Wade, I told you not to call me that." He grabs your hand, swings it as if he was a child, "I gave you that nickname so, I'm gonna keep calling you that. And only I can use it." You knew that he was looking at everyone behind his mask. Dr. Cho tries to reach to you with everyone in the room, "okay. Everyone visiting hours is over, she needs to rest." They all hug you one last time, and you noticed the big teddy bear. "Hey, who brought that bear? It's adorable." Smiling like a child found candy.

Dr. Cho grabbed the bear, and you reached for it. "It was Mr. Barnes; he bought it as a get-well gift. He visited you, every day and frequently stayed with you during the night." Your expression turned to a sweet form of smiling and flustered, you hugged the bear. Eventually, you slept with it and fell asleep. Without a notice, Bucky sees you with the bear, he smiled through the whole night.

You woke up after a three-hour nap, it's eleven-thirty pm. 'Great, now I won't be able to sleep.' You tried to get up to use the bathroom, the piercing pain of the left side of your back is unbearable. Panting breaths, squinting eyes, you nearly fall then someone caught you. Your eyes lay close to the floor and turned to you right, a vibranium arm holds your waist. "Are you okay?" Bucky caught you on time before hitting the floor. "Yeah, I... um... needed to use the restroom." Flustered by his eyes, he carried you to the bathroom and setting you down gently. "Thank you."

He holds the door, "I'll just be outside, waiting for you." You nodded and did what you needed to do.

Finishing refresh yourself and brushing your teeth. You opened the door, and he smirks at you, "we got to stop meeting like this." Confused by his comment, "what do you mean?" You asked, he gets close to you, "you always fall and I always catch you." You both chuckled, "want me to carry you again?" He asked and red blushing cheeks appears, but his eyes laid still on you, "no. I'm....I'll try to walk."

The pain still bothered you; constant stops start to be frustrating. He sees that you are having trouble to maintain your legs, you felt his breath behind your neck, and he whispers to you, "I've got you." His vibranium arm traveled below your legs and his bare arm holds and caress your back. You both returned to the medic room, carefully placed you to the bed.

"You don't need anything else?" His voice sounded calm and dreamy, his blue glacier eyes are very distracting. "No. Just that I'm gonna have trouble to fall asleep." You scoff, and you reached for your iPod and sensed that his stare is waiting for your movement.

"What's wrong?" You asked as your head tilted.

He brushes his hair with his hand, "nothing. Just... nothing." Pure silence and awkwardness in the room, then he smiled, it caught your attention "what are you smiling about?" He jerked his head, "I noticed that you have a lot of nicknames. Some of them are... adorable." He rubbed his hands, and his nerves were being tested, you noticed that he's nervous around you.

Your head slumped down, as you played Billie Holiday from your iPod, "I was hoping this subject never comes up, but yes. I have a lot and some of them... I dislike them." His brows raised "like cupcake?" You both laughed, your dimples appeared and he gazes your smile.

"Yeah. That's one of them, I mean Wade has his own nickname for us but, apparently cupcake was his favorite for me." Rolling your eyes as you said that word, "then Loki, Thor, and Frank, would call me by flowers. Loki has sweet pea, then Thor has dandelion, lastly, Frank has petunia." He smirks and his eyes never left yours, "I adopted little bat from Blade and Elektra use firecracker." Bucky's brows furrowed and confused.

"I know but she named me that because when I fight, the outcome of it? So unexpected." You smirked but frowned, "I still want to apologize from the fight. I'm really sorry and you didn't know about my tortures from Hydra. I was embarrassed to tell anyone, when I think of it-" you wiped a tear and eyes filled with sorrow and damage. "It disgusts me and I never see myself as pretty or beautiful ever again. So, with these nicknames they gave me, it's my way of comfort and defy myself in a good way."

Wiping more tears from your eyes and Bucky approaches and he sat beside you. "If it's alright, can I hug you?" More tears filled your eyes, and you nodded at him, Bucky hugs you. He caresses your back, and his vibranium hand rubs the back of your head; your arms wrapped around his neck.

You break the hug, and he wipes your tears, "I'm sorry, you shouldn't have gone through any of that. But your safe here and we will protect you." You nod and thoughts of yourself being too soft, it shifted your mind for a bit. "Yeah, well that's why I have to end Hydra before it's too late." You couldn't look at Bucky anymore, your past defies of who you are in your mind, but in Bucky's eyes, he sees more in you.

"It's getting late, you should sleep Barnes." You turned off your iPod suddenly a chill feeling from his vibranium hand, holds you. "I'm not tired, I want to keep you company unless, you're tired." You shook your head and turned on Frank Sinatra songs. His face tender from the music and the conversation you two had.

"So, what other nicknames you have, that you don't want me to know," he smirks and make you blush. You liked that he tried to make you feel comfortable, "well, Tony calls me kid. Which is one of my favorites. But Natasha called me a Russian word, that I don't understand." He thought of it and remembered, "was it Pchelka? " Your eyes widen, "yeah. What does that mean?" He smiled, you noticed that he has small dimple on his right cheek, you couldn't help it but aside from his eyes, his dimple is now your favorite feature of him.

"What are you looking at?" He tilted his head, facing you. You giggled, "nothing. It's nothing." You tried not make it obvious, but he was determined to find out, "come on, tell me. You wouldn't stop giggling." You shook your head, "so what does Pchelka mean?" He was being tempted of why you giggled at him. "You're not ticklish, are you?" A mischievous grin on his face and your eyes widen.

Bucky stayed and his mischievous grin started to prey towards you. "I'm in no condition to be tickled, Barnes." You commanded him not to tickle you, as he gets closer, nerves started to prickle your arms, and you raised both hands up. "Okay, okay. I'll tell you." He sat back down, "I noticed that you have a small dimple on your right cheek. I giggled because I find it attracting." He blushed and tried to be cool, but a flirty side smile formed his face. "Thanks, I guess. I didn't know that you noticed." He rubs the back of his neck with his hand, "I'm very precise with my vision, to be honest I find you attractive."

Pressing your lips together and he smirks while his eyes gleamed by your response. You try to change the subject, "Pepper and Wanda always call me sweetie or sweetheart. Which those I don't mind. Carol adapted with Marinette; I used to be in the marines. But that's a different story." His smoldering look made you a little nervous, then smiled. "I adopted the nickname sister, from Morgan. When Tony and Pepper took me in, she loved being around me, as much as I love being around with her."

Bucky rubs your legs, "it's a sibling bond. I know what that feels like, I used to have a sister, she died a long time ago, and Steve was my best friend also a brother to me." You felt a negative force in his soul, but you knew that he's about to ask you something that you can't answer. "Look, I know you have your reasons and everything that happen to you. But I need to ask you, why couldn't you bring Steve back? Whatever you did, it brought Tony, Nat, and Loki but not Steve. Why?"

His eyes were desperate for answers, and he tried not to push you, "Barnes. It's not that easy, I couldn't bring him back because I'm not allowed to."

Then an instant, his kindness vanished and the cold heart returned. "I... I just don't get it. Why can't you?" His tone sharpens and you tried to reason him, "Barnes, it's not that simple." 'How can I tell him that Steve is part of HYDRA now? His best friend is now an enemy.' You thought to yourself as he paces and gave up, his cold stare returned, "goodnight."

He walked away and you rubbed your forehead with your palm.

The next couple of days, Bucky gave you the cold shoulder and acted like nothing happen between you two. You were getting better but the pain still bothered and couldn't start missions yet. Bruce wanted to do some test on you, since the last rescue left everyone speechless. "If you don't mind, I want to start with the supersonic scream." Bruce insisted to start with the most dangerous power, you hesitated, "are you sure...it's safe, Banner?" He placed headphones and gave you the thumbs up, took deep breaths and screamed. He monitored the levels of high voice and destruction, your scream can hold up for thirty seconds, but you noticed a small crack appeared on the window.

Thor comes in, "she's part siren. She developed the same power as my great grandfather, Poseidon." He watched you and Loki arrives. "Hey, sweet pea." He handed you a bottle of water and noticed your eyes, puffy, red, and tear dusts, "you've been crying. What happen?" You shook your head, "I don't want to talk about it, please." He nods, "Banner, we should try the siren call. Are you up for this?" He always respected your decision, that's why he's your favorite. You nodded and determined to try anything, "siren call or siren song?" Arching your brows at Loki, he smug "we haven't heard you sing for years, let's try that first."

He joined Thor and Bruce, "any song or what?" Bruce intercoms, "whatever you're comfortable with, start there, okay?" You sat on the floor and closed your eyes, started with a siren call. Your voice turned to the titanic hyme to the sea, and the levels of your voice increased three times more, but it caught someone's attention. The three looked, your eyes were still closed but Thor sensed something wasn't right, your eyes turned silver, and your mind went off but the memory of your parent's murder and you saw your great grandfather, Poseidon. He's trying to contact you but, opened your eyes from silver back to honey brown.

"What happen?" Everyone stared at you and Thor came running to you, "are you okay, dandelion?" His eyes were feared, and he knew something was scaring you. "I saw Poseidon and....I think... he had something to do with my parents murder." His eyes turned serious with brows furrowed, "are you sure?" You nodded, then turned to your left, "why is Barnes here?"

Thor chuckled, "your siren call. It brought him here and he didn't want to leave." Your thoughts puzzled of Bucky's presence and didn't look at him. You pointed to Bruce, "how did it go?" You asked Bruce and he answered with outstanding eyes, "the results of the siren call, it beamed to three times of the supersonic scream. But maybe... if you sing, it can reduce the high levels of the scream."

You pressed your lips, tempting if you want to try singing. "Let's do it, if singing can reduce some levels, I just hope it doesn't hypnotize anyone." Loki enters with your iPod; you insert your headphones and started to sing 'My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion' he monitored your voice and heart. Bucky focused on your face, and sees that your eyes change color to pink, mesmerized by your voice, he urged to hug you but managed to control himself. The rest of the team heard you sing and entered Bruce's lab.

Tony smiled and he forgot how your voice sounded when you sang. "Banner, are those her-" he asked Bruce when he saw your voice levels normalized the effects from the scream, "yes. It reduces the high levels of destruction, and her heart isn't at risk. Even her blood levels are normal, not a single thing of side effects nor blood pressure."

You sang the last/best part of the song. You slumped down to the floor and cried; the memories of your family have brought lost love. Wiping your tears and the whole team watched you. "How was that, Bruce?" His mouth dropped and read the results of your voice. "Your voice lowered the levels of the scream. You did it, y/n." As he smiled, you cried with joy also with loss. The girls entered and hugged you. "What's wrong?" Wanda caresses your hand and she knew, plus she read your mind. She whispered to you, "Bucky didn't leave, he stayed." You shook your head, "no. He despises me." The girls walked you to your room.

I left, feeling defeated and nothing but pure annoyance. She's hiding something else, but what?! We had a nice conversation and I pushed it. I should've been nicer but the question of why she didn't bring back Steve, infuriated me. I lay on my bed, the conversation made me think, but I couldn't help myself that she has so many nicknames.

Me? I have a few but I'm not complaining, but I can't stop thinking about her eyes. So much emotions from her multiple powers, along being a goddess and witch but the mutant power? I have to admit, her claws... kinda hot. But I think I pressured her a bit, when I hugged her, there was a moment that I did wanted to kiss her. At the same time, it was too soon and I didn't want to cross the line.

The next couple of days, I didn't want to talk to her. My mind was still running that she's hiding something, but I still wanted to talk to her. Footsteps were coming behind me, and it was Sam, "Hey, tinman. Hold up, I wanted to ask you something." I'm trying to avoid the answer because I knew what he was going to ask me. "No. I told you, I don't want to, thanks but no thanks."

Sam rolls his eyes and keeps following me, "c'mon man. Your birthday is coming up and we should celebrate. And we can invite y/n, just a simple dinner." I thought about it, but I'm too focused on her secrets. "No. I don't need her to come, and I don't want to celebrate my birthday." He tisked and gave up on pursuing me on my birthday, we got to the kitchen, and I see Loki getting three water bottles.

"Good morning, God of mischief. What brings you here?" Sam greeted him and grabbed an apple, "morning, gentlemen. I'm just here to see my cousin. My brother and I are going to observe her while Banner wants to run some test from the last rescue." Loki rushed to Bruce's lab to see her, my legs locked and I want to see it myself, but I stepped down.

"Damn, I couldn't forget that day. Muffin, got stabbed and that scream, she almost left me deaf." He chuckled and I realized what he called her, "did you just call her Muffin?" My brow arched from his response, his face smirked, "yeah. I gave her a nickname, the first day I talked to her. She was eyeing my buttermilk muffin; it was kind of adorable."

Adorable? Muffin? I couldn't believe that I'm getting jealous of a nickname Sam gave her. I walked away then I felt something shaking the tower.

"Sam?! Did you feel that?!" I hollered at him, "yeah. That's good because I thought I was going crazy." Sam and I looked for everyone and some were on missions and I see; Thor, Bruce, and Loki in the lab while y/n is the shield room, why is she in there? Sam decided to join them, and I was about to go to my room. Suddenly, I hear a beautiful voice, it was calm and dreamy. I counted backwards of my steps, and it was y/n.

She's sitting on the floor, her eyes closed as she sings. My eyes couldn't take off of her, that voice, it's calling me. Urging to hug her maybe kiss her as well, my heart was feeling something else. It's beating fast but I overhear Thor saying something to Bruce and Sam, "she's part siren. She developed the same power as my grandfather, Poseidon."

Within five minutes, Thor rushed to her and Loki asked me to leave, "Barnes, you should leave, I don't think she wants you here." My eyes didn't move from her presence, "I'm not leaving... I'm not leaving her." My firmed tone set Loki to back off, and she sees me, then turned to Thor. Then I saw Loki giving her the iPod, they both returned and Loki turned to Bruce and said "she wants to try to sing. And hopefully it doesn't hypnotize anyone." I felt all eyes were on me, "what?" They all smirked and she sang, 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celine Dion.

Holy shit, she sings so beautiful. That song, it reminds me of the first dream I had of her. Tony, Nat, Carol, Wanda, Pepper, Torres, Walker and Hoskins enter as they watched y/n sing.

Tony smiled and the girls were in tears, her voice is pure but deep down in her heart, has pain. Tony chatted with Bruce, "I'm monitoring her blood levels so far, no side effects. And her heartbeat went back to normal." Tony gazed at her, "it's been a long time she sang."

Sam turned to him, "you heard her sing before?" Tony nodded, "while Pepper and I worked, she would take care of Morgan and often sings to her. Morgan loved it. In fact she would ask her to sing her to sleep." I see tears coming from her eyes as it turned to pink, then it turned to sapphire blue.

"Here comes the best part," Sam exclaimed, 'you're here, there's nothing I fear, And I know that my heart will go on. We'll stay forever this way, you are safe in my heart, and my heart will go on and on...' 

She slumped down to the floor and cried. Tony was about to enter but Loki stopped him, "no. She needs to let it out on her own." As much I wanted to hug her, he's right and I have to apologize to her, dearly. She wipes her tears and asks Bruce, "how was that?" His mouth dropped and reacted quick. "That was amazing and your voice decreased the scream levels. The singing helped, y/n. You did it. And it didn't hypnotize anyone."

She smiled with tears, and the girls went in and hugged her, her face relaxes when Wanda hugged her. She whispered to her and the girl's walked y/n to her room. I'll wait later or tomorrow to apologize.

I tried to sleep but her angelic voice, the song, the dream, and her. I sat up, 'holy shit, I think I'm falling for her.'

You entered your room and the girls followed, "why would you think he despise you?" Carol sat next to you, while Nat, Maria, and Wanda sat on the floor and Pepper stood by the door as she closed it behind her. "Honey, what happened between you and Bucky?" Pepper asked and all eyes were on you, "we had a nice conversation last night, we were talking about nicknames and how I adopted all as my safe comfort."

You tilt your head as your palm started to sweat. "Then, he asked me about Steve, and he was getting angry that I couldn't bring him back." Nat rubbed your hands; a safe environment surrounded your room and the girls listened... but Nat was curious on why you couldn't bring him back.

"Pchelka why couldn't you bring him back? You can tell us, we won't say anything, right?" Every single woman in the room, nodded. "Okay." A deep breath released from your mouth, "Steve is part of HYDRA."

All mouths dropped, you explained to them that he threatened you for failing to bring back Peggy, after they killed her. He was obsessed with the magic and discovered that you were a time traveler. Eventually, he gave you up to Hydra and he joined them. "Yeah, there's no way we are telling this to the guys yet, especially Bucky. It's his best friend and Sam too." Carol responded and Maria agreed, "Alright, ladies. This stays in this room and no one else. Not even Fury has to know."

She stated and Wanda lifted her hand with yours, "we have your back, mermaid." She squinted her eyes to you, "ugh. Please not 'mermaid'" it disgusted your mouth with that word. All the girls laughed, as the lifted their hands, "how about I call you, siren?" Maria pouts and you nod, "okay but only you. I have too many nicknames.

But ladies thank you. I trust all of you, and I never thought I could have many sisters and a mother figure. This means a lot to me." Pepper hugs you and the rest of the women did too. Nat jumped in and announced, "Alright ladies, our bridesmaid's appointment is tomorrow at nine sharp. So, let's get some rest and we will be having some fun." She smiles and hugs you.

Before heading to bed, you did more reading about hybrid magic and siren call. You were focused and read, 'siren call on the hearts of the temptation of souls of the abandoned and seduction of evil, can be lured to a siren and be ordered from any command with limited access...' you thought of this passage. 'So, I can control the men of HYDRA with my siren call.' Feeling a bit of tempted of it, you want to try it.

The next day, you got dressed into a blue blouse, indigo skinny jeans, white converse and a black denim jacket with silver hoop earrings. You arrived in the living room, and the girls were waiting, and Carol sees you and whistled, "woah. You look good, I bet Bucky won't stop looking at you." She nudges you, "no. He doesn't see me, I'm just invisible to him."

Bucky walks in and sees you, his smoldering stare made you nervous, as his eyes trailed up and down as you were his prey. Carol leans in and whispers to you, "told you so." You chuckled as Nat entered with Bruce. "Okay, ladies. Take care of my rose bud and I'll see you later," he kisses her, adoring their moment. With romantic eyes, you admire their love and realized that Bucky's stare firmed his body and watched you leave. "Alright girls, let's go have fun." Her arms wrapped your shoulders, you laughed slightly. "Pchelka, you should smile more. Show off those cute dimples and someone will sweep off your feet."

Rolling your eyes, "no. This is not about me. This is your moment and all about you." Your tone commanded to Nat and she smiles.

You and the girls arrived to the bridal boutique 'Lila's Bridal Shop' there were so many dresses. "Hello ladies, Ms. Romanoff. Nice to see you again, and welcome back." The saleswoman greeted and welcomed you to the shop. "And who is this beautiful young lady?" She approaches to you, "Hi. I'm y/n Odinson-Cruz, nice to meet you." She shook your hand, "pleasure. Is Ms. Carter going to arrive soon?"

You pressed your lips, and Nat swiftly speaks to the saleswoman, "she's no longer going to be joining us." The lady nods and we were picking dresses. There's so many but you never liked dresses because of the assault that you experienced, just suck it up because this is Nat's wedding. You gazed and the music distracted your mind and relaxed your body. It played 'Break Free' by Ariana Grande, Carol watched you, so did Wanda.

"Hey Nat, are we going by color?" Maria asked, pure silence for a minute and Nat turned to us. "Well, my favorite color is emerald green. Will that be a problem?" All of you shook our heads, you kill with dark colors. "Unfortunately, some of the dresses don't have it in emerald green." The saleswoman reclaimed and you hoped that the two dresses you like have it in that color.

Carol dressed in a one shoulder, silk fabric, a jeweled broach in the middle, long gown in forest green. Then, Wanda wore a strapped, sweetheart line, with small, beaded belt, long gown in burgundy. Maria wore a strapless, V-neck, velvet green, long gown. Lastly, you wore a silk, mid V-neck, with a left slit, long gown. All the ladies and the saleswoman mouths dropped as they see you in that dress. "Oh my God. Siren, you look amazing." Maria handed both her hands and twirled you. Nat's smiles widen and her mouth opened wide, "Pchelka, you look beautiful. You are getting this dress."

Carol and Wanda got off the runway and glitter eyes shows by looking at you. You couldn't help but rosy cheeks started to warm up. "Damn, if Bucky sees you in that dress, he wouldn't take his hands off of you." Carol jokes but she's dying to set you up with him. You laugh and you thought of the other dress, Wanda read your mind and she spoke to the saleswoman for a bit. Nat approved the dresses, and they all have in emerald, green. The five of you decided to go eat breakfast then hit the mall.

You arrived at a diner and hesitated to eat, but Wanda offered to start with an oatmeal with a side of fruit. You drank hot chocolate and took three slices of bacon. The girls smiled as they noticed you eating well. So far, no nausea feeling, you began to feel better. Then, you all headed to the mall, "we will start with Victoria's Secret then go from there."

Wanda's voice with excitement dragged you with her into the shop. So much lingerie but you couldn't help to wonder if Bucky likes any of these styles. Biting your lip, you remember the lusted dream with him, you looked everywhere for that particular lingere set. You ended getting alot of bras; six of them were push-ups then the panties you got were no shows, full lace, bikini style lace, silks panties, and only four thongs. Suddenly you saw a pop up store of another lingere store called Adore Me.

Letting the girls know that you were going there, you thought you were in heaven. Many Cami silk sleep sets, more bras and panties but... corsets. A few caught your attention and decided to buy seven. The girls arrived and saw you getting the corsets and they got some too. Carol sneaks behind, "is that for Barnes?" Her brow arched and you giggled, "no. Just me and maybe I found my new uniform."

Carol nods with approval, "then you need thigh high boots," she winks and you flustered. Then, you went to foot locker and the jade style of timberland boots dropped your mouth. You bought it and converse has a OPI collection, dashed to the isle of it, grabbed one in pink and black. Tony saved a few of your Jordan's and you bought eight different styles.

Nat notified Tony that they will need another truck for their stuff. You passed by Hot Topic, and a multicolored heart necklace was shown on the display, your eyes brilliance of it but decided not to get it. It reminded of your past life in LA, some things that you didn't want to remember. You and the girls arrived back to the tower and needed help, "Hey guys. We're back and needed of help." Bruce, Walker, Torres and Sam helped with Nat, Maria and Carol's stuff, while you and Wanda used both magic to carry both of yours and her bags. Walker grunts, "Damn. You ladies ended buying the entire mall?"

Carol snorts a laugh, and you turned to the ladies. "Ladies, thank you for this day, I had a lot of fun. And Nat thank you for letting me be part of your wedding." She nudged her head with approval, "your welcome and get used to it. There's going to be a lot of girls fun day." You smiled and both dimples appeared your face, Lemar and Torres notices as they dropped the bags. You turned and bumped into Bucky, "woah," you slightly smiled to him, "I'm sorry Barnes. Excuse me."

You headed to your room and took out all of the items from the bags, turned on some music and danced a little bit and lip sync with 'Show Me' by The Cover Girls. A knock sounded and it was Carol, "is this the Cover Girls?"

Eyes widen and she jumps to you, "yeah" then you both sang along and danced. Then Maria sees you both, "this song is a classic!" She joined then Nat and Wanda, then you all danced and laughed.

Bucky passes by and sees you with the girls. He notices your face, joy, fun, enlighten, as your dimples shows and a wide smile appeared from his face. Then Maria grabbed your ipod and searched through your music, "Hotel California? You got to play this!" You shrugged, "go ahead. Play whatever you like." It played and she with Carol sang along, joy surrounded your room and noticing that Bucky watching you, waving to him and smiled. He did the same, as the song ended.

The song stopped and Tony announced that dinner is ready. You all made to the dining area and ate, carefully you ate little by little. Then, everyone says 'goodnight.' You continued to empty the items; you organized the new shoes you got into the closet. Removing the tags from your new clothes and undergarments, also the corsets. You had the best day ever, feeling relaxed for the first time in your life.

Finally, you finished and a knock sounded on your door, getting up and opened. Your eyes soften and see Bucky in front of you, "Hi." You greet him, "Hey." He greeted you, "can we talk?"

You nod and let him in your room, before you said anything to him, "Listen, I don't-" he cuts you off, "I'm sorry." Deary eyes and a cold shiver raised your arm as he carelessly grabbed you.

"I shouldn't have pushed you. I was selfish and egocentric, but I just wanted to know why. It's not my place to be rude and you were in a vulnerable state. I'm really sorry." Astounded but his apology, you got close to him and hugged him, "I forgive you." His nose brushes your hair and felt his heartbeat going fast.

Chapter Text

Feeling his heartbeat going fast, you break the hug, and he brushes your arm with his chilly vibranium hand. "So, what now?" You asked him with sweet eyes, and his breath shakes, "I don't know." His eyes meet with bliss, as you were a delicate flower; before he spoke, a knock sounded.

You both stepped back, "come in" you responded and Tony enters. "Kid... I- " his face shocked as he sees Bucky in your room, "oh I'm sorry. I didn't know you were here too Barnes. Did I interrupt something?" He pouts but nearly smirked.

"No. We were just talking. What's up?" His head jerked away, "actually, I'm glad I found you both. Come with me." You and Bucky looked at each other, confused and followed Tony. "Ladies, first." He escorts you out and smiles, then you gave him a slight nod, "Thank you."

You both followed Tony to his lab, there Sam, Torres, Bruce, and Hoskins were waiting. "Alright, now that Bucky and muffin are here, what is this about Tony?" Sam asks and Bruce response with a concern tone, "Fury caught two Hydra agents but they are not talking. Also, they found a file of y/n's military experience. You said that you were in the marines in 1948?"

All the guys, besides Tony eyes widen, "yes. I started first as a desk clerk, then they enlist me to combat but they wanted me to find Steve Rogers first. I failed and froze to death until 1950. I guess they found me and brought me back to life. Until they discovered that I'm a witch, luckily they kept my secret for a while." Your nerves were rising from your heart and legs started to lock.

"Then, you were sent to rescue fellow soldiers that were captured in Vietnam and some villagers?" Bruce asked, you couldn't help yourself, but you noticed that Bucky and Sam were looking at each other. "Yes, I did. I met a soldier, who was similar to Steve, but I couldn't remember his name, and I don't know if he's alive." A slight burning sense traveled through your blood; it stings and really uncomfortable.

"But what does have to do with me?" Tony stood next to Bruce, "well, we know that you haven't start training yet, but we think that this could be your first mission, and Sam, Hoskins, Torres, and Barnes will be there." Surprised, pinching yourself if this was a dream. "But what would I be doing?" He tilts his head, "gather information and see if you or the guys have any ideas of what Hydra is planning next."

You agreed and Hoskins speaks, "are you sure about this Tony?"

Your eyes lunged at Hoskins, "I mean with no disrespect, but you don't think it's too soon for her to be on missions?"

Bucky interject, "y/n would be gathering information of Hydra, plus she knows more due to her abilities and... experience. She can handle it." Sam and Torres agreed with Bucky while Tony hands you a flash drive to gather the information. "Then it's settled, but first, Sam, Barnes and y/n would go to SHIELD headquarters. So, get some rest and all of you will be ready by o five hundred hours."

You all headed to their rooms, "Muffin, wait up." Sam called you, "Hey. I just want to let you know that you will do great. So, whatever happens, we got your back." He patted you on the back, "thanks Sam. I really appreciate it. Well goodnight." You hug him, "goodnight, Muffin."

Arriving to your room, and refreshed yourself, slipped into your royal blue sleep Cami set. Then you heard a knock, "come in," Bucky enters. "Hey, y/n, oh-" he notices your outfit, flustered and he nudged his head to the other side, you reacted quick and grabbed a robe.

"Sorry, Barnes. You can turn around now, I'm covered." You chuckled and he turns to you, "sorry I didn't mean to look..." His face still flustered, "I wanted to say, is not to worry about tomorrow. You got this and we will be right there with you."

You nod and with a flirty smile, "so? We say that we're partners and friends?" He sits next to you, "we can do that.." as he gets close, nerves tremble your legs and inside your body feels seduction. "For now." He whispered and kissed your cheek. "Goodnight... doll." He leaves and closes the door, 'Doll...' that became your most favorite nickname.

Next morning, you woke up at four in the morning. You showered and dressed in a black turtleneck with an open cut in the middle, black and plum lining corset, black skinny jeans, black timberlands boots, and a black leather jacket. You laid your hair to a half up with small braids and half down style, and got your books, flash drive and iPod ready. You were the first one ready and Sam, wore his suit and his shield behind his back. "Well, look at you Muffin. You look nice, and outfit suits you."

You thanked Sam, then Bucky arrives, wore his casual suit, the vibranium arm showed off from the cut off of his jacket. His brows arched as he caresses you with his eyes, "Wow. You look gorgeous, y/n." Rosy cheeks fumed your face, and Torres arrives with his new falcon suit, camo green with a slight of yellow. "Morning guys and Señorita, you look great."

You thanked him and Hoskins will meet all of you at the cargo with Walker. The four of you headed to SHIELD headquarters, your fingers fidget, nerves are being tested. Bucky sees you being nervous, he caresses your fingers alongside with his. He whispers to you, "everything is going to be okay. You're not alone, doll." A side smile framed your face, and he notices you blushing from the nickname he gave you.

The four of you arrived to SHIELD headquarters and most agents were gazing at you. By their eyes, you were a twenty-five year old female, (y/h), half Asgardian/witch, espresso brown hair, curved body form, and enchanting honey brown eyes. Most of the male agents were attracted to you, but you only had eyes for a rare man with blue glacier eyes, six foot tall, super solider with a vibranium arm. You arrived to the interrogation office and Fury stood by with four other agents. "Nice for all three of you to join us."

He greets with firm smile and shook your hand, "Miss Odinson-Cruz, it's nice to see you again." You nod, "nice to see you again. I'm sorry for the attack that occurred here. I hope I didn't injured any fellow of your agents." He nudged a smile, "no causality, so your fine." Fury handed a file to Sam and Torres looked through besides him. "So, none of them wanted to talk?" Torres asked as he handed the file to Bucky.

Everyone watched as the two corrupt agents were being interviewed by another agent named Davis. So far, not a single word. "Sir. We're wasting out time with them. They're not talking." You tugged Fury's arm, "Fury. I want to try to talk to them. I remember them two, during my captured with Hydra." His face turned to concern frown with his brow narrowed.

Bucky turned to you with eyes being worried and his hand gently caress if you were glass, "are you sure about this?" A small huff exhaled, "not really but we do need info from them." He nods and Sam along with Torres agreed, "Hey, if you need us.." Sam recalled and you nodded.

As you entered, the memories of your tortures started to return. With small breaths, you were ready for anything. You walked in and the two saw you, grinning at you and eyes stalked you as if you were prey to them. "Wow, you got some fucking nerve to be here. Rumlow will be ecstatic to see you again, sweet cheeks." Ignoring the filth catcall, your face firmed with eyes piercing at them, sitting on the chair with both your legs crossed.

You were ready to launched at them but stayed focused. "I need answers. And maybe I can spare your lives instead of sending you to the Raft." They smile with a sarcastic response and pure evil sense your mind along with their hearts. They didn't deserve to live, nor to walk or talk, but this is not the place to do. "Pierce moves like a circuit, he goes to different countries and sets new plans. You can't stop them, even the old soldier joined us. All we need is you, but your ass is less of the entertainment than your face."

In the other side of the room, Bucky's fist started to clench by the disgusting insults that they remarked of you. Torres patted Bucky's shoulders, "easy Barnes. She's okay, if they try anything..." He nods at Torres.

You were losing patience, "fine. I guess I'm going to have to do this, the harmful way." They laugh, smirking at you, like little boys. "And what are you going to do? Slap us?" You side smiled at them, opening your mouth, started a siren call. Your voice started to ease them and gazing at you with their hands firmed on the table. Your eyes turned to sea blue, and they tilt their heads as you kept using your siren power.

You stopped and they sat still, hands remained on the table, then you sang a song of Lana Del Rey's Once Upon a Dream. As you sang, their eyes turned to yellow, you got up and their heads follows. Grabbing two pieces of paper and pens, you kept singing and whispered to them between, 'write everything about Hydra.' Their eyes remained yellow and yours turned to a bright green color.

Fury was speechless of your new abilities, and the shield agents were astounded of what just happened, "how can she do that? And how come it worked on them but not us?" Sam, Torres, and Bucky ignored the question and kept watching you. You kept singing and the two agents got up and remained still, you finished, swiftly snapped a finger, and the two collapsed. You grabbed the papers and knocked to exit the room, you looked at the motionless shield agents, "give them five minutes and they'll wake up."

You got the other room and every single male looked at you, with mouths were slightly dropped. "Shall we go to your office, Fury?" He hesitated but quickly answered, "yes... gentlemen let's go." You, Sam, Torres followed him and Bucky was behind you. The five of you returned to the office and Fury stood by the window, "I'm sorry but I have to ask. How did you-" before he could continue, you broke the discussion, "remember that I'm related to Thor and Loki? Well, my great grandfather is Poseidon, God of sea. Therefore, I'm part siren. The siren call could only work on corrupted souls. Which indicates, bad guys and also hypnotized them."

He answered with a approval nod, "so what do you got?" You placed the papers to the guys and one to Fury, the locations of bases, buyers, numbers amount of the super solider serum, names of the scientists and leaders. "Well, the first location is in Munich, Germany, we can start from there. I'll notify Hoskins and Walker to get ready." Torres walks out to call them, Sam and Bucky remained quiet and you sensed their heart, there is alot of fume and anger.

Fury notified Tony on the information and shook your hand. "Thank you, y/n. Hope to you around." You nodded and existed the office, as the four of you entered the elevator and pure silence surrounded the room. Then, entering the car and headed to the airbase. You were falling asleep and Bucky watched and holds you before your head slumped down. Sam watches both of you and smiled.

Chapter Text

The four of you arrived at the air force airbase, and Walker with Hoskins waited for us. Bucky wakes you up and opened your door. "Hey sour patch, how was interrogation?" The three looked at you, "successful. I got the information so far. I thought Torres informed you guys." Your brows narrowed as if they didn't know what happened.

"Yeah, he told us, but we don't believe it." Walker aggressively smirked but Lemar buts in, "no, HE doesn't believe it. But I do. I kind of wish I would've seen it." Sam lift his body cam, and looked at you. Rolling your eyes at him and accepted to show it to Lemar and John.

You helped Torres and Bucky to load the plane, meanwhile Walker and Sam start the plane. Hoskins checked the plane to see that they have everything. As the plane took off, you were feeling tired. Bucky notices and approaches to you, "Hey. You, okay?"

He pats you on the back, "yeah. I'm just tired. Not used to of waking up so early." You shrugged and placed your hand over your mouth, yawning. "There's a small bed in the back. Why don't you take a nap and I'll wake you when we arrive." You nod and headed to the back and  took out your ipod and listened to music and slept.

Bucky kept an eye for you, while the guys were getting ready as they sat. "Was she falling asleep?" Torres asked while he fixed his wings and Hoskins handed him a small screwdriver. Bucky nods, "yeah. She just needs to sleep for a bit. She's not used to waking up early."

"Hey, Barnes. Be honest, do you think she's ready for this mission?" Hoskins eyes laid to the floor and swiftly to Bucky. He did seem concerned for you, "I'm not sure, but I know she can handle herself. We all seen what she's capable of." Bucky has pure confidence in you but he's still worried about you. Walker grunts and he wasn't sure if you were ready yet, "I'm going to be straight up, I don't think she's ready. Look, I understand she has a lot of powers from Hydra, but can she control them? The last thing we need is that she might cause a lot of damage."

He responds made Bucky tick, but Torres defended, "she may have a lot of powers, but we all know that she can do this. She just needs to believe in herself and the more confident she has. She will defend herself." Sam overhears Torres and Bucky's conversation with Walker, "Alright guys, enough. We have to focus and not use y/n as part of being a merry-go-round of not being ready. Like what Bucky and Torres says, she can handle herself."

Forty minutes later, Bucky wakes you up, "Doll? Wake up."

You moved and woke up, "hey... we arrived?" Your soft sleepy voice made him smile, "almost. Time to get ready."

You got up and stretched, "thanks for the nap, I guess I needed it." He smiles and the two of you headed to the front of the plane. Sam got his suit ready, while Torres finished his suit and got ready. Walker got a parachute ready, Lemar had to stay on the plane due to an injury of his leg from his mission. Walker placed his hand above you, "Listen, why don't you hand me drive so I can get the Intel for Stark. You can stay on the plane with Lemar."

You tilt your head, "Walker. She has to do this." Lemar exclaimed at him. You got to the side of the doorway of the plane, smirking at Walker. "Hey. Don't worry about me. I know that I can handle some things that you can't."

Lemar shouts "Alright, you guys got forty seconds to jump and then-" you jumped out without a parachute.

As jumping out, feeling the air with your hands, it was freedom. "Whooaa hooo!!!" Then Sam and Torres jumped, their wings spread and flew. "Are you out of your mind?!" Torres shouts at you, then Walker followed and Bucky too. Closing your eyes, adrenaline spiked your heart, you remember your flying training with Wanda and Sam.

"Come on, y/n. You can do it." Sam intercoms you, your mind focused on your training and wasn't ready yet. "We are close to two thousand feet. Y/n?!" Torres calls you out, then Walker shouts, "I told you she wasn't-" you opened your eyes, glowing with a violet color. You started to fly, the air carried your arms, turning your body upwards, smiling "whoooaaa hooooo!"

Sam proudly smiled, "yeah! Muffin! You did it!" Finally, arriving at the coordinates, you landed safely then followed by the guys.

Walker, Torres and Bucky were speechless, "see? I told you so. I can handle some things." You answered Walker's comment. The four of you entered an abandoned building and Sam scanned the place through Red Wing, his small tech bird, kind of cute.

Bucky escorts you to the office and found some computers and took out the flash drive. And scanned for any info of Hydra, suddenly you smelled off. The drive is almost done then a broken glass windows was intruded by a tall, muscular man. His face hidden by a dark griming mask. He grabbed Bucky tossed him across the room.

Nearly, grabbing you, by your magic, lifted him up and hitting him back and forth and threw him out the window. Finished download, you ran to Bucky and he wakes up, "Barnes! We got to go, come on." You handed him your hand as he grabbed it, another agent barged in.

Sam flew in, threw his shield and hits the guys. The three ran out and the muscular guy returned and you noticed who it was. 'Shit', you said to yourself. He approaches and Bucky shoots him, but his shield protected him. It was black and red ring around it, and the symbol of Hydra was in front. Bucky starts to fight him, and he threw against the wall, then you lift him again, but he threw the shield at you.

Collapsed and took you by the neck, "you're coming with me!" Nearly, losing conscious, your claws rise up, and had no choice but to stab him. He yells and throws you into a wall. Bucky grabbed the shield and threw it to the guy as his helmet and mask was removed.

With a dead look, he turns to Bucky, and his reaction was blank, "Steve?" He shifted and cracked his arm back, "who the hell is Steve?"

You wondered how Bucky will yell at you next. Steve threw a knife at Bucky, his quick with his reflex and started to fight each other. "Steve! It's me..." He ignored and continued to fight him. Sam swiftly appeared and saw his former friend fight with his best friend.

Walker and Torres joined and their reaction remains horror. Torres lifted you up, and Walker tries to stop Steve. He clenched Steve's buckle and threw him across the wall and falls six feet below. "We got to go, now!" He exclaimed and knew that Bucky is about to have a hell conversation with you.

But Torres remained next to you, "don't worry about it. I'm staying with you." He whispered to you and nod. Sam tries to reassure Bucky that it's not the right moment to argue with you.

Arriving back to the tower, and Bucky went straight to talk to you, but you rapidly walked to Tony's office.

Bucky shouts, "Y/N! WE NEED TO TALK!" Everyone heard his voice, Carol, Wanda, Tony, Clint, and Scott enters "why are you shouting, Bucky!?"

Scott asked and Tony enters with a serious look, "what it is now, Barnes?" You tried to talk to Tony first, but Bucky's tone made you flinched but Torres stood by you.

"Buck. You need to calm down! Let's talk-" he pushed Sam to the side.

"I want to know how the hell y/n lied to us that she couldn't bring Steve back?!" You eyes meet with his, "I didn't lie, I just didn't tell you that he joined Hydra after he tried to kill me!" Bucky stood still and his eyes preyed to yours but the anger inside of you was ready to unleash. "He tried to kill me, for not bring back his wife, Peggy. He got so obsessed with my background of magic and time travel."

Everyone stared at you, "eventually he gave me up to Hydra and that's when my life turned to hell. So, I'm sorry that I couldn't save him because he was so entitled to bring back his wife. I'm sorry that he didn't kill me, to make your life simple and I'm sorry. For being alive."

Lashing at Bucky made you feel relaxed, but it still hurt that he WAS your husband, sobbing in front of everyone. The last thing you need was pettiness, "he's not your best friend anymore, Barnes. You can be angry at me but that doesn't change the fact that he's the enemy now. If you want to trade me for him, then say the word." Your eyes filled with tears and fumed with anger but his eyes felt more of remorse.

Nat's reaction to your response made her tick, "No! We are not trading you."

You looked at her, "it's not your call Nat. It's up to him, just say the word and I'll get him." You walked away and went to your room.

Locking the door, and the girls tried to talk to you, but they knew that you wanted to be alone. Tony turned to Lemar and Torres, "what the fuck happen?"

They talked on how the fight between Bucky and Steve occurred and Walker with Sam tried to stop them. Everyone agreed that they are not going to bring him in, "Tony, he's too dangerous now. He's not the same and laying a hand on her? She's at risk with Hydra and Steve." Wanda points out and Torres intrude the conversation, "look I understand it's Steve Rogers. But he's public enemy number one, and he'll try anything to get to her."

Sam talked to Bucky about what happen in the room, "you can't be angry at her all the time. She's been through enough."

He faces tensely turned to Sam, "she lied to us, Sam. How can she be so infuriating and stupid enough-" then Walker shouts at Bucky.

"Hey!" They both turned "She has every reason of why she didn't tell any of us. You and Wilson had a bond with Rogers. And I don't know? Maybe she wanted to avoid this." Sam responded to Walker's comment "look I'm not mad at her. I understand that she went through a lot, but she couldn't tell us of what Steve put her through. Walker's right, it breaks my heart that our friend is the bad guy now. But she's in a lot of danger."

Bucky shook his head and released a deep sigh, "he was right there, Sam." He patted on Bucky's shoulders, "I know."

Later that night, you couldn't stay at the tower. Hearing voices in your head made you think of the negative of the team, 'they don't care about you'. 'It's better to die than live. 

In a panic mode, you got up and ran to Bruce's lab and took the Asgardian dagger and headed to your apartment. Not knowing that someone is following you. The memory of Steve abusing you, made you feel worthless.

A burning sense ran through your cheek, landed on the tile floor, "again! You have to bring her back!" Steve grabs you by the hair, "I told you, I can't... I'm sorry Steve." Another burning sense sting from the cheek then he roughly punched you in the face. "Nothing but worthless." Violently, he grabbed your face, "since you can't bring her back, might as well turn you something better." He carried you over his shoulder and took you to Pierce. "No! Please Steve don't!"

You got to the apartment and slumped to the floor, cry the pain out of you.

Hearing the voice again, 'just end it, and everything will go away.' 'You know what to do.' 

You grabbed a bottle of stella rosa wine and drank. Remembering your family, your two teams, 'I don't want to live anymore. Bucky will be safe without me. He's not my husband anymore.'

The stingy feeling of your wrist made it easy to release the pain, while panting, drinking the wine more. You yelped and someone barged in, then the pain repeated to your other wrist.

Dosing off, hearing an echo of a name, "Emily? I'm here." Your vision blurs and mumbled words 'he'll be safe... keep... him... safe' Hearing the name again, "no! Emily don't do this!" You were carried and rushed to the hospital, the echo of the streets. A slight of clear vision could barely make through your eyes, a tall blonde guy with blue eyes, "Walker?" He looked at you, "stay with me! We're almost there!'

He calls Tony through his Bluetooth, "Tony! She tried to kill herself... I'm at the..." you were starting to dose off again. "Help! I need help here!" Walker shouts and three nurses came with a gurney, "what happen?" He sets you down, "twenty-five-year-old female, self-harmed with a... uh... a dragger... um" He was losing his words, hands trembles "please help Emily!" He tried to follow but he was stopped, "I'm sorry Mr. Walker but you have to stay here." He cries, "Emily!!"

After two hours, Walker anxiously waited and his hands was covered in your blood. Tony rushed in along with Wanda, Sam, and Nat. "John! What happened?" Sam asked him and his eyes were burning red, "she tried to kill herself." His breath shakes and hands shakes non-stop. "She took the dagger and um... I followed her... and um... I heard her..." Sam and Nat comforts him, then the doctor arrives "for Emily?"

They all looked confused and John gets up, "yeah. How is she?" The doctor explained, "we managed to stop the bleeding. But she has previous old scars on both wrists. Does she have history of self-harm or suicide thoughts?" Tony spoke, "She had a horrific childhood and she's in therapy. Still attending to her sessions."

The doctor nods, "well we did a full physical exam, and we discovered of evidence of...sexual assault." Tony's eyes widen while Nat's head lowered. Walker overhears and approaches to the doctor, "what do you mean, evidence? I didn't hurt her." Sam ease Walker, "Doctor, she's waking up." Everyone rushed in.

Blinding lights woke you up, continued feeling dizzy from the wine. Tony and the rest see you awake; both your wrist was bandaged but were restraints. Your eyes paces and see Tony. "Tony? I'm so sorry..." He cried and hugged you, "you're okay kid. You're okay." Kissed you on top of your forehead, guilt filled your head and Nat entered with Sam and Walker. "Guys, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Steve." Sam sat by your legs while Walker stood next to you, "we can talk about that later. Are you okay?"

Sam rubbed your leg, covered by the blanket. "Sam. I sensed his heart; he really hates me. Tony, I can't go back to the tower." You looked at everyone, eyes puffy and swollen from the tears. The nurse enters with a clipboard, "I'm sorry everyone, but visiting hours are over. But only one person can stay." Nat offered to stay and the guys agreed, every male kissed you on the forehead, the first time you felt that you were loved.

Two male nurses set a bed for Nat. She looked at you, "I'm sorry Nat. I'm sorry for ruining your-" She hugs you. "Don't ever do that again. I can't lose another sister. Please, Pchelka." You told her that Bucky's anger triggered the memory of the abuse from Steve. "I think he has a lot to make up for it. I can switch partners for you; I still want you at my wedding."

Her voice softens and waits for your response, "I don't mind. I'm okay with Barnes." She brows raised and surprised that you wanted to stay with Bucky. "Are you sure?" You nodded, "yeah. I'm going to forgive him, but he needs to earn it." She smiled with approval, "that's my girl."

It's March tenth, you realized it's Bucky's birthday. Your used to be husband, you remembered his favorite cake was chocolate and he loved how you made it with love and he always picked the frosting. Tony arrives with Walker and you were released from the hospital, the three of you arrived the tower. You greeted almost everyone and headed to your room to pack.

Walker, Torres and Lemar helped you to take some of your things to your apartment, Tony agreed for you to stay at your apartment for two weeks. He called Dr. Raynor to continue your sessions with her at your place.

By a distance, Bucky looked at you. He wanted to apologize but you needed space from him, he left to discuss Tony for his mission. Before you left, you placed a small royal blue box for his present, and underneath you left a letter to him. S

am hugged you, "it's only for two weeks. I'm gonna miss you, muffin." The girls agreed to visit you and Walker, Sam, Tony and Torres did the same. You got to your apartment, and the guys helped you set your things. Walker stayed and talked, "can I ask you something?" He nods, "sure." Fidgeting fingers, nerves were testing you, "who's Emily?"

He stood for a while, exhaled and say on your couch. "She... was my sister." He sides smiled, "um... I was overseas and she wrote to me that she was being bullied. She was a cheerleader, straight A student. She wanted to be a pediatrician." You smiled but knew that his heart was broken.

"During my combat, I received the news that she took her own life. I was angry and umm...lost my temper. Lemar heard and he consulted with my Sargeant, and he let me attend her funeral." You were seeing John Walker crying for the first time. The same guy that would judge you from the first day.

"When I found you...I saw her. I couldn't take her face off of you. I just wish... that... I would've saved her and.." you got up and hugged him. He breaks down and cried to you, "I'm sorry for your loss. And I'm sorry for you to experience that." He shook his head, "I hope you have help because you really need it, y/n. What you are feeling, it's hurting you more."

You nod, "yeah I'm in therapy. But I need to be in a place where I'm actually calm. Like where there's landscape and be free." You both continued to talk and he breaks the question, "you were mumbling about something. You said, he'll be safe, keep him safe. Who were you talking about?"

You explained to John that you were Bucky's wife from the future and you showed him about the day your family was murdered with your magic, he finally understood everything now.

"You have to tell him, I know I'm not the first person to tell you this."

You nod, "not really. Eventually, I will but not yet." He chuckled, "so stubborn, you are." He grabbed your hand gently, "I know we got off the wrong foot but I'm here for you. Maybe, call you lil sis?"

You squint your eyes, "ugh. More nicknames." You both laughed and developed a big brother and little sister bond. "I won't tell anyone that you cried." He smirks, "I really appreciate that, y/n."

My anger boiled through my body, and I'm frustrated with y/n. She lied to all of us about Steve. "Buck, you need to calm down. Look, she has a reason why she didn't bring all if us with this information. She's been through enough, -" I slammed the rail of the patio, "how can she be so infuriating and stupid enough to-" Walker enters and shouts, "Hey!" We both turned, "she's been through hell already. And maybe I don't know? She wanted to avoid this thing with you, Barnes. You and Wilson had a bond with Steve and knew that it would affect you both." My hands twitch and I couldn't stand that my former best friend, is now the enemy. My memories of him helping me played in my mind. The time he took me to Wakanda, and I disappeared during the blip. He left for Peggy and hearing him lay a hand on y/n, that wasn't him.

"Look I'm not mad at her. I understand that she went through a lot, but she couldn't tell us of what Steve put her through. Walker's right, it breaks my heart that our friend is the bad guy now. But she's in a lot of danger." My tears were fuming, "he was right there, Sam" His hand laid on my shoulder, "I know." Later that night, I see Tony and Walker talking about Steve and how we can be able to help him, but Walker refuses. I chose not to intervene. I headed to my room, remembering the fight with Steve. I hear couple of footsteps through the hallway, and I see Walker stepping out.

Then, I watched Tony, Bruce, and Sam looked through her files from Hydra. Sneakily, I entered and there was a footage that Steve physically hit y/n, my body tensely shifted. She didn't lie about that; I fucked up then left. I laid back against the wall, then I hear Tony panic, "Walker what happen?! Which hospital?!" He runs then Sam and Nat followed him. I followed them, "okay I'll be right there. Walker, don't lose her pulse." He hanged up, "it's y/n. She tried to kill herself."

A heavy weight dropped my heart, 'did I cause her to do that?' Those words haunted me, "I'm going with you." Tony's hand clasped on my chest, "No. You stay here; the last thing she needs is you there." His eyes structed me and Sam whispered to me, "I'll let you know of anything."

They left and I headed to my room, slammed the door. I panicked, I couldn't breathe, dropped to my knees on the floor. Couldn't think of anything but her, how could I've done this to her?  The minute I knew, tears were coming down from my eyes. I keep hurting her, I keep hurting the woman that I have feelings for.

Three hours later, they arrived back but Nat stayed with her. Then, Walker's shirt was covered in blood. He walked towards me and a punched structed my face, fell to the floor. I deserved that, getting up again and he grabbed me by the top of my jacket. "You stay the hell away from, Emily." My brows furrowed by his threat, I yanked him away from me. "Okay, knock this shit off." Tony's tone pierced at us, "we got bigger problems now. And we don't need this shit between you two." Carol and Lemar called Walker and left with them.

Sam approached to me, "you, okay?" I rubbed where Walker punched me, "yeah. I deserved that." Sam explained that y/n was drunk and slit her wrist with the Asgardian dagger. And begged Tony not to tell her cousins, and he suggested that she stays at her place for two weeks, I really wanted to apologize but I guess I have to wait.

Two days later, she returned but Walker stood beside her for not looking at me. He, Lemar and Torres helped her grabbed a few things in her room to take to her place. I stood by my doorway, I see the bandages on both her wrist. I wanted to scream and it was breaking my heart that I made her do that. I left to find Nat, finally I see her, "Nat." She lifted her head, "what's up?" I hesitate to ask her but it was killing me, "how is she doing? I assume that she wants to switch partners for your wedding..." She closed her eyes and lay a hand on my shoulder, "she needs time. But you didn't cause of what happen. And she says that she doesn't want to change partners."

A small smile appeared on my face, "really?" She nods, "yeah but your gonna have to do a lot to earn her forgiveness and trust." A sense of hope got me a little excited but she's right. I have a lot of work to do, for her to trust and forgive me again. I spoke with Tony for the next mission and see y/n leaving. "Barnes, it's just temporary. She needs time." I nodded at Tony.

She left and I headed back to my room and noticed that there was a small royal blue box and a letter on my bedside cabinet. I opened the letter first,

Barnes, this is not your fault. I haven't been telling everyone including you about Steve because all of you were great friends. And I didn't have the heart to tell you that he would constantly abuse me during my time with Hydra. Your yelling triggered the horrific memory of the abuse. I guess you and I have anger issues. I know about your life and I'm not judging you of anything. But I need time to be alone. I can't forgive you yet, and hopefully we can be friends again. Also, you can't call me doll, for now. You're gonna have to earn that. I'm a nothing but with a damaged heart. Please, don't fight with anyone also with my cousins and John. - y/n.

She knew my birthday?

I opened her gift; she fixed my dog tags. I stopped wearing them because it was severely damaged and almost broke. But she got them fixed and left a small scratch from the time I fought with Steve against Hydra in 1943.

She knew, how can a person with the most beautiful soul and broken heart, do something so genuine but ends up being the most damaged and dangerous person? I really fucked up, big time. I don't deserve her, but I really need to fix things for her.

My body tensely shifted to a regret feeling and sobbed that she did the sweetest thing in the world. 'I really don't deserve her. I'm so sorry, doll.'

Spending in your apartment for two weeks was nerve wreaking but you needed space. The girls often visit; Nat tries but she's been busy for planning her wedding. Walker, Sam and Tony visited couple of times and took you to lunch. It was kind of nice, but you knew Sam wanted to talk to you about Bucky. After they left, you studied more about magic, but you heard the voices again. 'They all pretend to care, but they don't.'

Wanda came and offered to go with you to get some remedies for more healing magic. You both went to the nearest market and went to a physic store to buy crystals. She was impressed that you knew which to get. "So, are you going to ask me?" She looked at you with eyes being stunned, "well, he wants to talk to you." You shook your head, "I can't-" "I know. That's why I told him to give you more time. But he does feel terrible for what happen." She handed you a rose quartz shaped heart. Taking it and nodded to her.

You arrived home after dropping her off in front of the tower. Refreshing yourself and slipped into a blush pink slip dress and headed for bed.

Soft love songs played in the background, the taste of wine drips from your lips. A scent of sand wood and fresh vanilla buried all over your body, and hands traveled your waist. Feeling Bucky's lips on your neck from behind. "Your finally mine, doll. I love you so much." His beard tickles your neck, and you kissed him. His hands played with your hair, along your hands caress his shoulders down to his arms. Mesmerized of his vibranium arm, you kissed his fingers and in awe, his eyes were softening and loved of how you were doing that to him. He goes on top of you, kissed you again and enters you. You gasped and intertwined your hands with his. "I love you, so much." He whispers next to you and thrust into you, "I love you, Bucky. So much, mi amór." He smiles and kept moaning your name, "yes baby. Keep going, please." Pleading with him to go a little fast, he did. And you both climaxed together.

You woke up, covered in sweat and climaxed again in your sleep, 'shit. Why am I having these dreams? What does it mean?'

Meanwhile, at the tower Bucky wakes up from the same dream. Also covered in sweat and climaxed in his sleep. 'Fuck. Why am I having the same dream? What does it mean?'

The next morning, Dr. Raynor arrived at your place to continue with your sessions. Then, a sudden of courage you told her about the dreams. She listened, "well, do you find James attractive?" Her question made you flustered, "yes. Even though he was rude to me, I have this feeling that he's more behind the walls than he set himself up. But I don't know why I kept having them." She smiles and responds, "well you might have feelings for him, and he might be the same for you." Shrugged and didn't believe it for a second. As Doctor Raynor leaves, Tony calls you for a meeting. Deep down you didn't want to go but it was mandatory.

You arrived at the tower and was greeted by John, Carol, Scott, Clint, and Lemar at first. You all arrived at the conference room and saw the rest of them. Giving a warm welcome to you and saw Bucky standing by the wall next to Sam. Tony arrives with Pepper and announces, "Alright now that everyone is here. I have news, we are moving. The entire team to a much larger location and have more space than the city."

His remark made everyone concern and you were thrilled about it. "We are still going to be in New York but a bit of the countryside. We need more privacy and security purposes." You smiled and agreed with him, "Tony, I think this is a great idea."

He winks at you, Walker anxiously asked, "but if we move, who gets the tower?" He briefly explained, "well I made an offer with the buyer, and we start moving after Nat and Bruce's wedding. I still want the two of you to stay, if you want." His eyes soften and consider that they stay. "Of course, we'll stay but we won't return til after our honeymoon." Bruce hugs Nat from behind and kissed her in the cheek. You adored their love and being romantically cute.

You and the girls went out to eat and discussed on how you were doing. "I'm doing okay. Just that I've been distracted with some weird dreams and trying to focus on managing my anger." The girls focused on you and tried to break the awkwardness in the circle, "so... are you coming back to the tower?" Carol asked with her eyes widen and her brows raised. "I'm not sure yet. But a bird told me that someone wants to talk to me." You scanned the room and all girls had their heads down. "Ladies?"

Maria gave in, "okay. Bucky is really sorry for what happen and to be honest y/n, he hasn't been doing well either." Her words structed you, wonder of what happen since you left. "Marinette, he... hasn't been eating and hardly slept. Then, he would have-" Wanda stopped her, "Carol, no." Narrowing your brows, now you were getting concerned for him, "Wanda? What's happening to him?" The girls looked at her and Nat sighs, "Pchelka, he's been getting nightmares, but worse than yours."

You imagined of what he was dreaming about. "How bad?" A moment of silence occurred then Maria spoke, "he almost choked Carol. She went to check on him, and he reacted quickly and kicked her out..." Shocked of his action, "I'm okay. Really. He... has been getting worse since you left." You guessed that this is the way for redemption, "he found the gift. And he hasn't stopped wearing it." Nat shyly smiled at you.

Pressing your lips and clenched the tablecloth, debating if you wanted to go back. "Okay. I'll stay over tonight and maybe I'll talk to him." Carol grabbed your hands and gave you a hopeful smile as well the rest of the girls. "So what kind of dream you had?" Wanda arched a brow and you blushed. She knew and winked at you.

Chapter Text

You and the girls arrived at the tower, and you asked Sam, Clint and Scott to help you bring your stuff from your apartment. They agreed and went to your place, arriving back to the tower. Tony called you to his office, "Hey kid." He hugs you "I need to talk to you."

You sat on the chair across from him, "sure. What is it?" He pressed his lips and a worried looked showed his face. "I... how can I put this. I'm gonna have to give up your apartment." You slowly thought about it and "Okay..." eyes widen if he found a weird object that didn't belong in the room. "No questions, no remarks of it?"

You shook your head, "no. But I do want to say thank you. For helping me, as much as you can, I truly appreciate everything. You've been a father figure and besides from Logan, I'm lucky that have two father figures." He nods, "come here kid." He hugged you, tightly. "I love you kid. You been the best second daughter that Pepper, Morgan and I could ever ask for." You also talked about switching teams with Walker and Lemar for temporary, although he wasn't unsure of it, but he understood that you needed the limit space.

You thanked the guys for bringing in your stuff, set music on, and fixed your room. Playing a Gloria Estefan song, following the rhythm and started to dance. The salsa rhythm took over your body and lip sync the song, your legs slightly kicked with the whimsical music of salsa, twirling around and danced. Then, Bucky hears the music and followed it, he sees you dancing. He stood by his door, gazed your body moving 'wow.' He mouthed to himself and mesmerizing your body following the music. So oblivious, you forgot that your door was wide open, continuously lip syncing the song, as you twirled, you saw him.

Bucky

I arrived from the mission with Walker and Hoskins. Tirelessly, I needed a hot shower, then I hear a rhythmic music, I followed and it's y/n. She's back and dancing, the Spanish song made her move like I never seen before, God she's amazing. 'Wow' I said to myself. She did say that she lived in Los Angeles for fifteen years and I guess she used to dance back then, her hips moved with so much desire of wanting to be free.

She twirls and it makes me what to join her, but I don't know how. I haven't danced since nineteen-forty five. I can't take my eyes off of her body. She twirls again and our eyes meet, she stopped then blushes and gave me a small smile and wave. And I did the same, opening my door and pretended to close it. I looked and she was dancing again.

Y/N

'Ugh, he saw my dancing, I should've closed my door. You haven't danced in a long time, Raynor was right. Dancing made you feel free... and you missed it so much. Your cheeks were still red from being watched by Bucky, biting your bottom lip, and smirked, you did like it. Almost finishing your room set up, and small knock was heard on your door, "come in," you looked up and smiled widely, "y/n?"

Tears were about to release "Hi monkey." When she was a child, you gave her that nickname. Her silliness made her be unique. She ran up to you, and hugged tightly. "God, I missed you so much. I'm sorry I left." She cries and hugged you tighter, "I thought you were dead."

You break the hug and saw the bracelet you gave her from Tony's then-funeral. "I kept it and haven't stop hoping that you were alive." You both sat on your bed and talked. She explained of her life in college, her major of computer science and human biology, no boys yet. Then, Tony sees the two of you bonding again, "there's my half of two girls." You both smiled and he smiled like he was the proudest dad of the whole world. "It's great to see you both together again." He ordered pizza for everyone and you with Morgan made it to the dining room. She's thrilled to have her sister and her parents with the rest of her family.

They talked and laughed, but you excused yourself from the table and headed to your room. The feeling everyone eyeing you was belittling you and that was the last thing you needed. Morgan enters your room and tells you that she has to return to California for school. Hugging her and saying goodbye, Pepper and Tony took her to the airport. You closed your door and turned on music with your headphones, feeling pity on yourself and put on sad songs. The sadness made you think that you should've stayed at the apartment for one last time. But you knew that the talk between you and Bucky was needed, falling asleep and your mind was going blank.

Two hours later, you couldn't sleep again. You walked around and found yourself at the balcony.

Looking at the skyline of Manhattan, so much difference than Los Angeles. Both have beautiful lights during the night, but New York has the empire state building and LA has the US Bank tower. Closing your eyes, visioning the skyline of Los Angeles, missing your home.

The sandy beach between Santa Monica and Venice made you remember the smell of the ocean. Gazing through the view, and a pinch of light, you see the statue of liberty. A small breeze prickle your shoulders, leaning forward on the rail, debating to fly or not. Breathing through the air, it got cold and felt nice.

Suddenly, with your mutant ability you can hear people from far bit distance. It was Sam and Bucky discussing with Tony on finding more locations of the Hydra's bases, "we can't let y/n know that we are still going after them. She's at risk with Hydra and Steve."

Sam quotes with Tony, "Stark. She can't go on missions, if she's with any of us, they can take her." Bucky stated that he and Sam will find some resources to find more information of Hydra. Quietly, you followed Sam and Bucky talking, "Buck, no. We can't go see him; you don't remember what he tried to do with the president? I understand that he might know more of Hydra but no."

Sam reasons with Bucky, "if this means to keep her safe, he might know something, he might talk to you better. Isaiah understands you more than me." Isaiah? Isaiah Bradley? He's alive? The man you saved from the Vietnam War, and from the attack of the winter solider. "Alright, we're going to the Raft."

After the rescue of the soldiers, Isaiah sees you playing with your drink. "Hey. How are you doing?" Tensely, you pushed the drink to the side, "I should've saved more of the children. They didn't deserve to die." Sipping the drink, you couldn't stop thinking about their faces. "I was right there; you should've let me save them." He gently holds your hand, "you would've died along with them. Word is, that you are a witch... but there's more, is there?" Blinking from answering the question. "You don't have to tell me."

You, Isaiah and the survivors were transferred to Japan for safety purposes until further notice. Whether the marines need you or Isaiah, you decided to stay to keep him safe, he sees a cherry blossom flower, picks it and places behind your ear. "Within beauty, there's always pain but only she can free herself from it." Those words stayed with you forever.

Opening your eyes, you needed to go with Sam and Bucky. You got dressed to a black turtleneck shirt, wore a pink flower necklace, dark blue skinny jeans and black converse. Before anyone wakes up, you tracked Sam and located him in Baltimore, Maryland. You remember them saying about him being at The Raft, but you assumed something happen to him. Without anyone looking, you teleported to Maryland and arrived to Baltimore. The cold breeze prickled your face, kind of a good mood for a chai tea. Then, you hear small arguments from a house that is two houses down. Speed walk, you headed there, you tried not to be seen and arrived the front door. The memories of 1955 replayed in your mind. Hearing Sam reasoning with Isaiah and you quietly entered the room.

"I told you that I don't remember. And I never wanted him inside my house." His voice, 1955 all over again, "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!

You stepped in, "Isaiah? "

Sam and Bucky turned "y/n? What are you doing here?" Sam was shocked that you were here without making any noise. You looked at a man, grey small hair if it was made of dust, same height as Bucky, and a young teenager stood by him, "who is that gramps?"

His eyes soften and a slight of water appeared on his right eye. "I don't believe it."

You stepped a little closer and his eyes traveled up and down to see the rest of you. "How do I know it's you?"

Deep breaths exhaled, "you stopped me from getting killed to save those kids and villagers that were dying in the fire." His head lift upwards, "we were transferred to Japan for safety purposes and consulted me... that we did everything we could to save the rest."

He stepped close and the memory were ringing in your head, "do you remember my flaw?" Sam and Bucky looked at Isaiah, he slightly smiled, "you never lied. And if I remember I gave you a name and told you something. If you remember it was-" Pressing your lips together with tears streaming down, "Within beauty there's always pain, but only-" he stepped closer to you, "she can free herself from it." His eyes meet yours with tears, "Sakura." You both hugged.

"I saw you being taken by Hydra and they told me that you were dead."

You chuckled, "I'm a witch, remember? They tortured me so much, but I'm related to the gods." He cupped your face with his hands, "I can't believe that your alive." You smiled, "I remember I gave you a nickname, and I recalled, you loved it." He smirked "godfather." He turned to the teenager, "Eli. This young woman here? She saved my life multiple times, rescued my team in Vietnam. And one time from the metal arm guy, after I whopped his ass."

Bucky's eyes widened and looked at you, lowering your head. "Isaiah, we really need your help. What Sam and Barnes said to you, it's true." He stepped back, "like I told them. I don't remember." You knew that he was lying, "Godfather, Hydra is after me. Steve is after me." His head turned quick and his grandson Eli, eyes widen by your response. "Wait, Steve Rogers is alive?!"

Shuddered breathes exhaled, as your hands trembles, "I'm from the future and Hydra killed my parents and family. My husband and two kids. I was sent here to protect an individual from the avengers. We found out that there are other locations of Hydra bases, with super solider serums that they want to use for children and create an army." Isaiah's eyes narrowed and clenched his fists after your response.

Then, he went to one of his cabinets and took out five files. He slammed them on the table, "these are the files of the only locations that I could remember since." You grabbed them, and handed it to Sam. "I need a moment alone with Sakura."

He tapped Eli on his arm, "I'll be alright son. I know she will never hurt me." He nods and leaves, as well did Sam and Bucky. "I'll send you the address of our hotel." Sam calls you and nod to him. As they left, Isaiah sees you're in tears. "My dear, now that we are alone, tell me everything." You broke down and hugged him.

You spent three hours telling him everything. The tortures from Hydra and Steve, becoming a half goddess, witch, and mutant. Witnessed the death of your parents and family, lastly being the late wife of Bucky Barnes from the future. He listened and felt so much guilt that he wasn't there to keep you safe. "I remember when you were scared of the little white dog and you needed me to carry you from back to pass by them." You both laughed, "well canines know who's good and bad, since I am a witch, they attack me, verbally."

You spoke to him more and gently pats your hand, "Sakura, you have to tell him. I never liked him but it seems that you and him have affection towards each other." Brows furrowed and your eyes twitched from his words. "I saw how he looks at you, when you came in." You side-smiled, "yeah well you should've seen me when I fought him." He chuckled as his smile widen, "that's my girl." You hugged him tight one last time, "please, take care of yourself and no one knows that you live here. I'll be sure of that."

He fixed your hair and took out the same flower that he saved back in 1955 from Japan, you gasped "You saved it?" He nods and kisses your forehead, "my little Sakura, take care of yourself and tell him." Before leaving, you waved him goodbye.

Since she's back, I knew that she needed space and I can't stop thinking when I saw her dance. I wondered what life she had back in Los Angeles, how did she manage to stay hidden for fifteen years? Suddenly, I hear Morgan's voice, she always stops by during her weekends plus, she's the ring barrier for Nat and Bruce's wedding. Her and Chavez are included to the wedding, and they are more excited that it's close.

I can imagine y/n in a beautiful dress, but I have to focus on stopping Hydra and maybe help Steve. Then, I went to Tony with Sam to discuss more of connections of Hydra and Steve, "we need to find the bases first, since the agents that y/n spoke to, they said that Pierce moves like a circuit." Sam pointed out and I agree with with him. "We can't let y/n know we are still after Hydra. She's at risk with them and Steve." I exclaimed Tony that she can't be outside for a while, "Stark. She can't go on missions with any of us. If she does, they can take her again."

I walked with Sam, "none of us can let her know that we are still going after them." Sam noted and I agreed. "Even we don't let her go on missions, we still don't have any leads. Unless-" Sam's face turned furious "no. We can't Bucky. We both promised that we were not supposed to get him involved. Besides his at the Raft, and we need access without Tony knowing it." I was running out of ideas, "he might know something and you can blame it me; I'll take the fall. We need to stop Hydra and maybe bring back Steve. Isaiah might talk to you; we still have unresolved terms." The desperation of debating to save either Steve or y/n is killing me, as of right now, all I can think is y/n. "Okay. We're gonna go see Isaiah."

The next morning, I got up early and Sam was ready to go. We met up with Torres and kept a low profile to keep Tony from knowing this. Torres was notified that Isaiah was free for good behavior and pardon from the government. But he's on house arrest for two years, we headed to Maryland. We got to his place and his grandson Eli, saw us and rolled his eyes.

"What do you guys want now?!" Sam shook his head, "you need to learn some manners. We need to your grandfather. Please?" He nods and opens the door, we entered and he stood there. His eyes furrowed with rage for seeing me but as soon as he saw Sam, they were softening a bit. "So, what does Captain America and the Winter Solider have for me this time?" Isaiah's tone sounded annoyed, I knew he didn't want to see me again, but this is mandatory, for y/n.

"Isaiah, we need your help. There's a young woman; she's been a threat from Hydra. But she's from the future and we ask you, if you remember anything about different bases...-" he stated to pace but he was angry for mentioning them, "I don't remember anything. I don't talk about that anymore." I spoke soft to him, "Isaiah, she's in danger. In her universe, they killed her family. But if you can try to-" he grabbed a small tin can and threw it across, nearly hit me.

"I don't remember and I don't want to talk about it." As Sam lifted both his hands up, "I understand that this is something you don't want to share but-" then he starts to shout, "I'm trying to start over! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

Suddenly, I hear a small creak from the floor, "Isaiah?"

I recognized that sweet voice, Sam and I turned, "y/n? What are you doing here?" Sam took the words out of my mouth; she stepped a little close. Then, Eli, Isaiah's grandson was shocked by her appearance, "gramps, who's that?"

I don't believe it." Isaiah face was stunned; did they know each other? "How do I know that it's you?" She exhaled and fingers twitched, "you stopped me from getting killed to save those kids and villagers that were dying in the fire." Sam noted to her, "I'll send you the address of the hotel."

I followed Sam and we drove off back to the hotel. "You're quiet. What's wrong?" Sam asked me and I didn't say another word, "how can she knew me in the past? I don't remember her." I couldn't stop thinking about what Isaiah said, "look I understand that she has secrets but she's not ready to talk about it yet. She needs time, Bucky and it's obvious that you are not giving what she needs."

Sam's right, I can't be jumping into conclusions about her, but how couldn't I remember her? We arrived at the hotel and read through the files, three hours later y/n arrived. "Hey guys." I look at her, puffy and red eyes all over. "Hey muffin. How did you know where to find us at Isaiah's place?" She pointed her ears, "with my mutation powers, I can hear from a slight distance. And I overheard you two with Tony yesterday. "

After the talk with Isaiah, you wandered around the city and how beautiful the scenery is. Then, you followed the address that Sam gave you for the hotel he and Bucky are staying in. You arrived and the hotel lobby was very decent and almost immaculate of white pearl color on the walls and Victorian tiles. You got to the fourth floor, room four-twenty-nine, knocked at the door and heard a "come in" voice from Sam.

"Hey guys." You answered and they looked at you with stern eyes and both their arms crossed. A deep sigh and exhaled with nervous look, "just say it, whatever it is and call it a day, and I'll leave."

Sam doesn't like the idea being mad at you, he was more upset than the situation that they knew Isaiah was alive and didn't tell you. "Look, I understand that you have a lot of things that you're not ready to share, but how come you didn't tell us," His hand shifted back and forth between him and Bucky. "Well, you didn't tell Tony that Isaiah was AWOL and he was pronounced dead. So, I'm not mad at you for that. It's like what you said, I'm not ready to tell you or anyone about my life."

A violent cough interrupted you, and your throat was starting to pinch, covering your mouth with your arm as clearing your throat, Bucky approaches to you, "are you okay? Sounds like you're getting sick." You shook your head, "no I'm fine. Just don't get close to me." You backed away from him and grabbed one of the files.

The three of you, searched the files and the cough interrupted you again, "um... I'm going to go to the drug store. I'll be back." You left and without a sight, you teleported back to the tower. Carol, Walker, and Lemar went on a mission, as well did Clint, Scott, and Wanda. You arrived and looked for Bruce; he was in his lab with Tony and Nat.

"Hey guys." Tony gave you the serious dad look, "where the hell have you been kid?"

You were about to answer but the cough became more violent, covering your mouth with your hand and almost loss your breath. "Woah, Pchelka. It sounds like you're getting sick." She helped you and Bruce took out the thermometer.

Sitting and swinging your legs like a little child, you shivered, "Yikes. Sorry, y/n but you have a fever." He showed you the number from the thermometer, one hundred and five, point three. "But I never gotten sick before, why now?" You asked Bruce.

"It could be stress or not sleeping enough and maybe poor eating habits. These things come and go." He handed you a mask, "when was the last time you gotten a booster shot?" Your eyes widen, "holy crap, I don't think I ever gotten one."

"Okay, I'm going to have Dr. Cho come and give you a booster and she will discuss more of your medical history." He notified Dr. Cho by calling her and leaves, Nat notified Sam that you are back at the tower. She's about to enter and you covered yourself with a facial mask, "are you okay, Pchelka?"

You nod to her, "you shouldn't be here. I don't want you get sick." Nat smiles and pats your hand, "don't worry about me. I'm mostly worried about you, this is just a cold. You will get better." Dr. Cho enters your room and gives you a booster shot and used her stethoscope to hear your chest. "Ok, your chest is clean as a whistle, but you need to rest for a couple of days. And no more teleporting for a while."

You nod and stay in bed. Sam and Bucky returned with the files and passed by your room and sees you resting. "Nat! What happen with muffin?" She looked at you for a moment and Bucky kept his eyes on you, "she's experiencing her first cold. So, she is staying in bed, and Bruce is monitoring her time to time." They hear you coughing, and with your magic you closed your door. Your head throbs, the roughness in your throat irritates you, couldn't speak.

You took a nap.

Meanwhile the team, we discuss on Hydra, Nat and Bruce's wedding, and the moving. Bucky was concerned about you, but your door was closed and didn't want to bother. Since he's a super solider, he can't get sick, but he wore a mask, just for safety precautions.

He knocked and saw you asleep, "Doll?" Even though you told him not to call you that, he still did. He removed his glove and touched your forehead; you were burning up and covered in sweat.

"Bruce?!" He yelled and removed the blanket from you, lifted you up and tried to wake you. "Doll, wake up. Y/n! Y/n!" You mumbled and he couldn't hear you, "what happen?" Bruce dashed in and wore a mask, "she's burning up and I can't wake her up!" He checked again, "ok you're right. Carry her to the medic room." Bucky carried you and Wanda sees you in Bucky's arms, pale, sweating, and she rushed in.

Tony and the team watched outside, they noticed how pale you were. "What's happening to her?" Walker anxiously paces and Carol comforts him, she noticed that you and he developed a sibling bond, "John, she's going to be okay."

He nervously nods and Lemar hugs him. Bruce, Wanda and Dr. Cho are trying to wake you up while Bucky is standing by the doorway. Walker walks up to him and tries to ease him, "she's going to be okay, Bucky. She's strong." His eyes try to hold a tear and nods at Walker.

Wanda reads your mind, raises a hand and shouts, "Bruce wait! She's having a nightmare paralysis. Only the coven of hybrids can get them." She told Bucky to go to your room, to grab the spell book of healing. He dashed to your room and noticed the big, rusty cover, brown thick book and took it.

He lays it on the table and Wanda searched for nightmare paralysis remedies. She scanned with her magic and found it, she sets the team to get warm simmering water, which Tony got it.

Then, six petals of black, red, and white roses, Bucky went to get them with Sam.

Fresh dirt from a sacred ground with meaningful place, Nat and Bruce got it.

Vanilla bean leafs with small wildflowers, Walker went to get that.

Lastly a small lock of hair, of a relative. No one has that, so Tony called someone close to you.

Everyone came with the items and Elektra came and cut a small portion of her hair, then Wanda muddled the items and used the petals to place on your forehead. You were mumbling but Elektra heard it, she didn't share it. Bruce monitored of your heart, but you were still pale, Bucky enters and grabs your hand.

Caressing it and kissed it, "I'm so sorry. Please wake up, I have something to tell you important." He kept kissing your hand and Elektra enters and he stopped. "Do you love her?" He looked up at her and blushes, "I... um... I mean, I have... uhh.."

She consults him, "Listen. You have feeling for her and it's going to take a lot for you to-" he breaks to her, "yeah. She told you that I argued with her about Steve?" She shook her head, "no. I was going say that it's going to take a lot for you to understand her. She's been through a lot, aside that all of you know so far."

The two of them watched you as your head shifted and started panting. "Y/n?" Bucky cupped your face and woke up; eyes widen and changed to a Hazel color. "El?" She smiles and turns to your right, and saw Bucky, "Barnes?"

You played of Alicia Keys and napped.

You were brought to a room, everything seemed familiar then the curtains were yellow with white daisies, and the table was set for two people. You assumed it might be Bucky, but you see a young man with an emerald sweater, hair of autumn brown it reminded you of fall in LA. He turns and your face went blank, "Eddie? What are you doing here?" He smiled, "we live here, honey. I knew you would come back. You always will." His touch made you flinched, "aw. It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you again."

You backed up and tried to escape, "now sweetie. Be a good girl and give me a kiss." Without hesitation, you ran to the bathroom door and he went after you. You locked it and he slammed the door, "darling, open the door." You managed to use the window to escape and he tries to break in, "y/n! Open the damn door!" He violently kicked it and grabbed your hair, "no! Please let me go!"

His lips clenched and dragged you, but you scratched his hands with your nails. He reacted and slapped you, then he got on top of you, "now, you will be my good girl and obey to me." Pleading him to get off of you, he violently ripped your pants and harshly entered you, then you kneed him and he grunts. You got up and ran away. You reached the door then; you were back in Siberia.

"Fuck!"

Crying for help, then Rumlow approaches and slapped you then kicked you in the stomach, "ahh! Stop."

He violently grabbed your face and carried you to the table, "this is your lesson. You will obey me, my sweet girl." He gets on top of you, and violated you, then he finishes and leaves.

Covering your face and heard your mother's face, "Míja, wake up!" You removed your hands from your face and your outfit changed to a pure white long dress, and your mother appears. "Mom?" She looks at you, filled in tears, "I'm sorry I couldn't help you. But you need to wake up, this is not real. You can control your nightmares." You shook your head "I can't. These memories are haunting me. I can't escape from it." She runs and you followed her, "mom wait!" She showed you of yourself laying on the bed with, unable to wake up and Bucky is there by your side. "He needs you. Míja, he cares about you."

With no choice, you walked back and ran into the vision.

You shift your head side to side and woke up. Your eyes turned to a Hazel color, you woke up with Elektra next to you, "El?" She smiled, "Hey firecracker," then you turned to your right and Bucky was there. "Barnes?" He rubbed your forehead "Hey." Slowing your breaths, "what happen?"

You quickly looked at Bucky and Elektra answered you, "you had a nightmare and couldn't wake up. Tony called me to come. Sweetie, was it the same one from six years ago?" Bucky was concerned from Elektra's question, and you nodded. She hugs you, then Bruce and Wanda came in, they hugged you as you woken up.

Then you got off the bed, as Elektra and Wanda helped you. Wanda set up a bubble bath while Elektra stayed with you, she seen you naked before, from your past mission in your universe. You slowly got into the tub, and she helped you washed your hair.

She knew about your nightmare and broke the silence, "y/n? Do you want to talk about it?" Feeling relaxed by her hands massaging your head, "it was about Eddie and Rumlow again. Eddie tried to be nice and trapped me in the house. He slapped me and kicked me, then he raped me," you started to cry, "I kicked him off then I was in Siberia again. This time it was Rumlow and he raped me too. Then I saw my mother."

Elektra eyes turned intense and wiped a tear off, "your safe now, firecracker. Whatever happens, we will be here no matter what." Finally, you were cleaned and she helped you wash off and carefully helped you off the tub. Escorting you to the shower and let you clean yourself as she stood by then you brushed your teeth. She helped you off and you got into a navy-blue t-shirt and short pajama set.

Then, Elektra took a blow dryer out from your bathroom and dried your hair, she was more of an aunt figure to you. Bucky stood by across the hallway and just watched you like a hawk. Tony told the team that you were awake and went to sleep after, secondly, Elektra went up to Tony, Bruce, and Nat about your nightmare.

"The last thing she needs is pity. I know all of you care for her but she's already feeling less of herself." Tony rubbs the back of his neck, "Elektra, how much did she suffered in her life?" Her eyes gleamed with disappointment, "you really don't want to know."

She returned to your room, noting that she has to return and hugged you. "Thank you, for being here. Please, don't tell Logan." She tilts her head, "I'm gonna have to, y/n. He knows you too well." She kissed you in the forehead and left. Meanwhile, Bruce enters and gave you medicine for your cough. You hesitated to go back to sleep but it was late.

Eventually, you did but the nightmare began again. Eddie slapped you while landed on the floor, then he grabbed you by the neck, "Stop embarrassing me in front of my friends." You tried to get him to let go of you even scratching him with your nails but that made him angrier, he slapped you again, but his fist touched your cheek, and an unbearable pain stinged your face.

Later on, you packed your things and quietly left him.

You took all the cash he had and ran. He found out and started to chase you, "you fucking bitch! Get back here!" Didn't look back, you kept running, even though you have powers, you didn't want him to find out. You hid from him for a short while and saw a police car by a distance and ran towards it.

He caught you and slammed you against the car, then two officers saw what happen, quickly stopped him but he punched them and one of them told you to run. He grabbed one of the officers gun and shot you, by the pain you screamed and woke up with tears and loud footsteps came running to you, "Doll! It's okay. You're okay." Bucky holds you and immediately you hugged him and broke down. He didn't know what to do but he held you tight, rubbing the back of your head and Tony with Carol came in, "I got her. She had a nightmare."

He breaks the hug and notices your hands were shaking. You continued to sob while wiping your tears. "I'm sorry. That I woke you up, I... um... you should go back to sleep." He didn't let your hand go, "do you want me to stay with you?"
