Summary
Regulus Black and James Potter were doomed from the start. They didn't know it, but no matter their decisions, they would end up fighting on opposite sides of a war neither wanted to join. The story branches through their time at Hogwarts, before ending (as I'm sure you can guess from the warnings and tags) with their respective deaths. Regulus Black never expected a friend of his idiotic brother to be so easily loveable, and James Fleamont Potter stumbled head over heels for his best friend's perfect brother.
Mostly Canon Compliant? A few sections I feel like adding here and there and some of the dates/ages may be a little inconsistent. I'm trying y'all I promise but the canon compliant tag is there so you have an idea of the plot and ending before you get invested.
