Hello Everyone,
This is not an update but just a notice to inform readers that this story has been plagiarized and is being sold by a company called Plush Books on multiple sites and platforms. The ones I’ve been informed of so far are Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Book Depository, and Bol. I’ve reported them all but Bol (as it is in the Netherlands, and I don’t speak the language), and I think they’ve been taken down, but they could pop up again under another name. If anyone does see it, then please feel free to let me know or report them yourselves, as it is illegal to sell fanfiction. I appreciate either one.
I would also like to thank the readers who left comments informing me of the matter and offering their help and links to a Twitter post with instructions on how to deal with this. So, thank you so much to Bythia for informing me, kay_cricketed for updating me and offering to help, ToxicAngel13 for finding these thieves on multiple platforms, and Jack Ironsides (JackIronsides) for informing me and giving me the full title. I apologize if I missed anyone, I tried to save all the comments and messages, but they may have accidentally gotten overlooked in the chaos that is my inbox. I really am sorry for that.
Also, since I’m thanking people now, I just want to say thank you to the many readers who leave kudos and comments and bookmarked it. It still surprises me whenever I get a comment or notice that someone left a kudo for this story because I never think anyone will still be interested in it after so many years. Seeing new readers appear and old readers return will always warm my heart and make my day a little bit better when I see that email notification on my phone. So, thank you, everyone, for being these little bits of sunshine throughout my otherwise cloudy day.
I wish I had the time to respond to all the comments that are given, but my life is pretty hectic and busy that I rarely have the time to just sit down and breathe, let alone write out a personal response that is not merely a generic thank you. So, I am going to say it here for everyone to see so that you all know that I do read your comments, I do see your kudos, and I do appreciate and adore all of you for it. Thank you for it all. You are all the reminders and inspiration that keep me coming back time and time again.
