I do not use AI in my stories. I do, however, use em dashes. I have a degree in journalism and a minor in graphic design. I learned to use dashes, en and em dashes regularly at work and in my writing well before AI. Lately I’ve heard people dismiss writers for em dash use. To that, I say: let my excessive dramatic em dashes be free! -
