He has almost finalized “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran when it happens. He steps out of his room when he hears it, a soft humming coming from the kitchen. As he steps closer, he has the inexplicable urge to hide himself behind the wall. Something tells him Kai will stop singing as soon as he becomes aware of someone around him. He doesn’t want to break this moment.
“What's your favorite song, does it make you smile?
Do you think of me?”Taehyun immediately recognises the song. He suddenly walks into the kitchen, making Kai get flustered and stop singing – as he predicted.
“Do you sing this often? It sounds perfect.”
Kai blushes. “What, this? No I just heard it playing at a café recently and it’s been stuck in my head ever since.”
“Sing it with me. At the wedding.”
OR
Taehyun asks Kai to sing with him at his sister's wedding, and comes face to face with a realisation.
