Summary
“Want to know?” Diaz whispers, eyes darting around as if he’s prepared to share the world’s most delicate secret. Buck nods in affirmation. “Really want to know?” He leans in until his face is pressed up against the bars, something hammering fierce and desperate just beyond his rib cage. He wraps one hand around the bars between them, the heat of Diaz’s hand enough to send shivers up his spine. He licks his lips.
“Yes.” A momentary pause as they breathe the same shared air, and then the space between them disappears as Diaz surges forward, pressing his surprisingly soft lips to Buck’s and taking hungrily, barely allowing Buck even a moment to give as he jerked in surprise.
“Then get me the hell out of here!” The guards rip the man backwards, beating at him with clubs as they pull him back through the doorway he had appeared. Buck presses his fingers to his lips, still entirely stunned as Bobby barks through a conversation behind him. This, he knows, is when Bobby and he are supposed to cause a fuss, an uproar of sorts, in order for the rest of the team to extract Diaz from the prison.
