The old, worn wood of the porch bowed under the heavy, rhythmic footsteps of the monster. Boots so old they could be called antiques, stained black from a century's worth of dried blood ingrained in their leather. A ratty, tatter creature, pale as a corpse, skin grey and warped, eyes redder than poppies. He stalks through the night, taking livestock from their pens, snatching up children in their sleep, then… BOO!”
The group gathered around the fire all shrieked and dissolved into a merry laughter! “Wha- hey! I’m not done yet-!” he said while failing not to laugh with them. These people, all gathering ‘round this great campfire, had traveled from all over all looking for new beginnings. Oakhurst was being rebuilt, slowly but surely, into something once again full of life…

Summary
Jack Frost and E. Aster Bunnymund haven’t been getting along recently. Ever since defeating Pitch seven months ago, things have gotten better between the two, but a few months is hardly enough time to get over forty years of dislike and distrust.
After the two screw up a battle due to their fighting, they find themselves waking up mortal in the Viking Ages. Jack and Bunny try to find a way to return to their own time, but higher powers and fate seem to have other plans for them. Bunny’s past begins to haunt him as he struggles with an abrupt transformation, and Jack, used to being invisible, finds himself gravitating towards this new life—especially to one brand new Chief of Berk, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III.In which Jack and Bunny are thrown back into the Viking Ages—Jack gets comfortable, Hiccup sucks at dealing with his own grief, and Bunny is forcibly sentenced to Viking Babysitting. At least there’s cool dragons.

Last updated: 2026-08-16I love the concept, the dialogue interactions feel so alive, and the author’s done good in making the magical world feel living.
Bunny has yet to wake up, but Jack has already made a drunken food of himself.
I hope this gets fully completed, the feeling it inspires is what I feel towards the beauty of nature. It’s wondrous.

It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

A wonderfully completed work, 44ch
This is an incredibly written work, that has such fulfilling world building that it even manages to fill in minor continuity errors of the original media, and make even the earliest chapters feel as though it all came full circle.
This was Satisfactory in the most best of ways. Sure, there’s sadness, anxiety, and anger, but the genuine true triumph of good and love and happiness make this one of the most compelling things I’ve ever read.
I fell in love, and I’ll love them through and till the end of time, like the snow loves the wind <3

Summary
When he arrived in the kingdom, the sun had fully risen, painting the slate roofs in a bright wash, and citizens of Aurifex were walking around, focusing on their own lives, collecting pay cheques, shopping for their food, gossipping. It makes you realise that everyone lives their own life, everyone living in their own separate worlds, nobody noticing the royalty walking their streets as Legundo approaches the castle. He could have easily been dropped off right outside the castle, but he had always been one to appreciate the way that other kingdoms thrived. The culture of a kingdom known for blacksmithing and weaponry was so rich and different from a kingdom famous for artistry that it was almost fun to see.
Waiting at the bottom of the castle steps, King Eirwen welcomed him with open arms, beaming as he beckoned Legundo over. King Eirwen had always been an outwardly warm person, but there was something behind his eyes that had given Legundo a deeper hesitance to accept the invitation to arrange this marriage with his son.
