Hallow’s End - a popular holiday to be sure, and one Khadgar has not participated in since before he joined the Kirin Tor. The Kirin Tor are not one for holidays. Khadgar can still remember the way he yearned for celebration when he was new to the life, until years at Dalaran dulled that ache.
This year, however, things are different. He has been invited to celebrate the holiday in Stormwind. They will take a break from poring over maps in war rooms and taking stock of garrisons and harvests. It is time for a ball; a masquerade ball.

Mostly gonna be Khadgar/Lothar, but I do love the idea of Khadgar/Garona/Lothar, so there'll probably be hints of that too.

Dennis laughs, then falls silent as he watches Robby tilt his head back and look up into the trees overhead.
There is the burble of water running, leaves rustling, and the far-off noises from other hikers on the trail. His eyes slip closed, and the flickering sun dances across his eyelids. Dennis breathes in and out.
“I’m going to miss you when you’re away,” he admits quietly, not opening his eyes.
He doesn’t expect a response.

Maybe he wanted to prove a point. Prove Robby was not some kind of infallible paragon. Prove he deserved this, that he deserved to be whispered about.
Still, it wasn’t planned. Dennis couldn’t afford to be a jealous type- he knew, deep down, he couldn’t compete with them, the litany of girls and women that Robby politely declined on a daily basis, even the ones he eyed a touch too long. It was a strange dichotomy, in a way, believing himself undeserving of Robby, of all people, and considering himself the only one worthy of him.
