Its been five years since Eregion fell.
Five years of darkness spreading across Middle Earth as Sauron works to create the One to bind every ring to him and heal the world as he sees fit.
Five years of Galadriel dealing with the wound he left her and the bond that she can't shake, no matter how she tries to cleave it in two.
He'll stop at nothing to create his ever-lasting perfection and she'll do everything in her power to make sure that does not happen. Even if it means her very fëa might not survive it.

Summary
Sauron grapples with his conflicting desires--the familiar pull of the darkness and the compelling desire to please Galadriel. As her suspicions grow, tensions rise, and a power struggle is inevitable. When the truth comes out, he uses all his powers of persuasion to win her allegiance, but Galadriel counters his offer with a tempting compromise. Will the Dark Lord bend to her will when the fate of Middle-Earth hangs in the balance?

“Did I please you?” he purred.
She could feel her pulse between her thighs, and her hands pressed against the cold stones behind her. She was desperate to temper the rising heat.
When she finally managed to speak, the words came out as a whisper. “Yes.” She swallowed, and his gaze dipped down to her throat like a predator studying his cornered prey.
His eyes shifted back up to meet her own, and she could see her own hunger reflected upon his face. It was a dangerous hunger, the kind that one would commit atrocities to sate.
Halbrand’s lips spread to reveal a lupine smile. He was beautiful and beastly all at once.
“If my lady is pleased…then so am I.”
