    There's this tumblr post about what would have happened if Jin Zixun poisoned that wine he gave to the twin Jades. Or planned to. He was /planning/ to have a little fun with them and make them appear a little drunk by the poison to draw on their golden cores. What he did not know is that Wei Wuxian would step in and -because he has no core- just collapse immediately in the middle of the banquet.

    This is about as well-received as expected.

    Wei Wuxian laps the circuit, tests the brakes, the clutch, the maps on each turn. It’s a thrill, it's always a thrill—asphalt rushing up as he rounds a bend, knee scraping the rough surface. There’s a sense of courting death that's hard to find anywhere else, and he's glad that Jiang Cheng introduced him to the sport. (It’s also a distraction, if Wei Wuxian were honest. From skin as smooth as jade and pale eyes that shimmer with ire in the light.)


    In which Wei Wuxian is a MotoGP racer, Lan Wangji is his sponsor, and Wei Wuxian just wants to be friends.
