Eddie hangs out by the door while Harrington leans on the desk to ask the secretaries about some form or another. They trip over themselves to help him out. Goddamn Harrington getting all the middle-aged ladies in a 30-mile radius to swoon over him. It’s unreal.
Not that Eddie doesn’t get it. Harrington is objectively beautiful. He’s also charismatic, great with the students, kind of funny. And on top of that, he has the audacity to be a nice person? Eddie can’t say he really blames the local moms for getting their panties in a twist.
Not that Eddie would ever be into Harrington. Imagine the mess.

It’s a fact, now, that Eddie Munson, resident freak drug-dealing alpha, is very publicly hanging around newly presented omega Steve Harrington. Alpha and omega, the perfect cookie-cutter combo the normies love to call a perfect match.
“Munson,” Harrington mutters, barely moving his lips. “What the fuck do you think you are doing?”

“Are you sure you’re not gonna get murdered?” Tommy says, eyes narrowed as he pinches in on the map on his phone. “This place is like, so far off the grid. And you said there’s no cell reception?”
“He’s gotta get a job somewhere, Tommy,” Carol says, rolling her eyes. “Even if it is playing nanny for some creepy old man and his creepy kids in their creepy old mansion out in the middle of the creepy old countryside.”
“Oh my god,” Steve says, snapping his suitcase shut. “I’m gonna be fine. Edward Munson is a rich bastard who is looking for an ‘au pair’ for his seven kids. He’s just gonna be some rich old asshole who wants someone else to parent his kids for him.”
“You mean like daddy dearest, but with more children?” Carol snickers.
Steve flips her off even though he agrees. “Exactly like daddy dearest,” he says, “Which is why I’ll be great at this."

“As long-time viewers may know,” Dustin says, picking up from Mike, “‘Eddie the Damned’ is the one who inspired us to start Upside Down Ghost Hunting and make videos out of our paranormal investigation hobby. It absolutely kills us to see the end of a legendary era, and we want to wish Eddie all the best with his future endeavors.”
“Which,” Eddie says, leaning into the frame, “Are gonna be right here.”
Dustin, Lucas, and Mike finally break, unable to maintain their serious masks anymore, beaming.
Eddie grins manically at the camera. “Hope none of you freaks, geeks, and ghouls are tired of me just yet, because I’m a permanent fixture now.”
Dustin whoops from behind him.
“Now, let’s go find ourselves some ghosts.”
