James Bond was plain insufferable on his best days. Confined in the place where stairs were trying to swallow your toes, the east corridor instantly dripped, and the dial system was sentimental and useless, Q was forced into close proximity with a man who was slippery, dangerous, and, very sadly, beautiful.
