“A forest that kills people…” Emily didn’t sound very amused by the strange case. “Seems to me more like a serial killer who got off scot free thanks to an urban legend.”
“More like a group of serial killers.” It was Rossi who said the obvious. They all knew it from the moment they saw the reports on the first five bodies. So many different kinds of weapons, wounds, signatures… One person couldn’t possibly have done all that.
(or: a mass grave was discovered deep inside of a forest where people tend to go missing. The BAU should probably find out what's been happening for the past few years. Little did they know, it'd lead them down a terrible rabbit hole.)

His head is spinning. Jay is so—so dependent on him, seeking every ounce of affection he can get while following Tim’s directions as if they’re the only thing he needs to survive. It’s driving Tim insane, and his attempts to ignore it have become utterly futile because now he can’t stop fucking thinking about it.
There’s so much he could do, could say, could ask of his companion, and Jay would just listen. Would look up at him with those glazed-over doe eyes and nod along, because he doesn’t know how to do anything except trust Tim. And it makes Tim want to do awful, horrible, terrible things.
Maybe he’s sicker than he thought. Maybe he’s no better than his other half, if not even worse. No, definitely worse. Chasing people around and tackling them isn’t exactly comparable to—to—
Tim squeezes his eyes shut, trying to steady his breathing. Jay’s head is tucked into his chest, though he hasn’t quite drifted off. It’s like he’s waiting for him to relax. Like he needs the security that is Tim keeping his composure.

Strangely every human is acting... a lot different around him when he goes to see them next. They should be a lot angrier at him after the adventure.. but they aren't. In fact, for the first time In a while-- they seem strangely eager to be around him!
Well--! This is what he wanted right? Should he really complain about this sudden switch?
It doesn't seem so bad.. at first.(Aka: Caine is so desperate to be loved his own system (unknown to him) adds modifiers to FORCE the humans to love him. Though sense he's unaware he did it so he can't fix it)
