Lizzy threatening murder has been a regular occurrence for about as long as Charlotte has known her—since the first week of freshman physics, to be precise, when the guy sitting next to Charlotte had said something about how women were bad at math. Lizzy had turned around from the row in front and verbally eviscerated him in front of the entire class, the grad TA, and the professor. Some enterprising soul had filmed the last half of her tirade and put it on YouTube, and the guy had stopped showing up to class for two weeks after that out of sheer embarrassment.
