Summary
The Dursleys have had enough and decided well, since Harry is now a teenager surely he can work for his own keep and sent him off to get a job as they will no longer be providing him with his needs (not like they did that anyway) and surely he can start helping pay the bills. Harry fortunately found a job that is nearby, a grocery store. As Harry settles in on this new routine he gets used it until one day on the checkout line he runs into the last person he wants to see.
"P-professor Snape?"
"Potter!"
For Harry it appears to be that things seem to be getting worse but finds that perhaps this is the start of something good.

Summary
L enjoyed challenging mysteries. One such mystery fell into his lap on August 1st 1997 when an all night cafe was attacked in London. The real mystery of this event was how all the evidence had disappeared, including the involvement of a former prospective Wammy student. This led L to an even greater mystery: dozens of non-existent schools whose attendees disappeared from the face of the world.
In his efforts to uncover the truth about these non-existent schools, L arrives in Japan just as Kira begins his killings. When the Kira case ends up intersecting with the non-existent schools, he feels the thrill of these mysteries increasing. Now, if only L could get an in with his primary suspect and his fascinating resistance group.
