Kurapika felt the distinct watch of eyes on his skull and turned to look at the man next to him. “What are you looking at?”
For just a split second, Kurapika could’ve sworn the man’s eyes widened in shock, but it quickly disappeared behind a thin facade of calm. “Nothing. I just didn’t think the chain-user would be a woman.”
Kurapika stopped breathing.

“Where’s your babysitter?” Evil Morty asked.
Morty knew that he meant Rick, but if the question was going to be phrased like that then he wasn’t going to answer it. Evil Morty was a fucking dick.
One stretched out second was all it took for his rebellion to buckle, though, because he was being stared at expectantly, and for as bitter as he was, he didn’t feel like getting diced into pieces or tortured for answers. The guy didn’t seem above that. He was evil.
“You’re such an asshole,” Morty huffed. “Rick is up front registering.”
