Felix's instructions were clear: do not drink out of the purple bottle. What Seungmin drank out of was a normal, clear one. He looks back once, twice, ensuring that the purple bottle hasn't moved from its spot since Seungmin entered the kitchen. Otherwise, if he drank from it, even the slightest shift would catch his eye.
Right. It's just water that he drank. Perhaps he should get his mouth and taste buds checked instead. At this point, he'd rather come down with some outlandish illness that alters his taste than to entertain the thought of drinking aphrodisiac with Jeongin in the room.
But to his dismay, Seungmin was terribly, terribly wrong. His feelings for Jeongin are nothing to worry about, right?

“Just a friend. Someone from work,” Jeongin says, shrugging with one shoulder.
“What’s their name?” Seungmin asks. He’s trying hard to mask the shock in his voice. His discomfort is probably as clear as day on his face—he can practically feel his eye twitching. But luckily—or unluckily—Jeongin doesn’t look up from his phone to notice. He’s still texting.
“Beomgyu,” Jeongin answers.

Seungmin nods, and looks out the window as the streets fly by them in a blur.

If Seungmin didn’t know any better, he’d think Jeongin was serious.
“Are you serious?” he asks, for clarification.
Without removing his hands from his face, Jeongin replies, “Do I look like I’m in the mood to tell jokes?”
“You really think the days are repeating?”
“Not days,” Jeongin corrects him. “Just today. And yeah, I’m pretty sure.”Jeongin is stuck in a time loop, and Seungmin is not. He tries to figure out what the hell is going on with his best friend.

Chan gives him another look Hyunjin can’t comprehend, but then he nods and leaves with the rest of them. As Hyunjin watches Jisung’s face, lit up by his phone, lips pouted as he scrolls, he wonders how many other leaders of kpop groups feel the need to check in with their bandmates before leaving them alone together, for the fear of something happening because they drank a little. He should look into it, maybe there’s a support group. One of many Chan should attend.

“Hi, we’re going on a road trip,” Jeongin announces, then fishes car keys from his pocket and dangles them in Seungmin’s face.
“What the fuck are you talking about?” Seungmin blurts out. “It’s your wedding day.”
Jeongin lowers the keys and gives Seungmin a bemused look. “My wedding is tomorrow. Are you still drunk?”
“We didn’t drink anything yesterday. Are you drunk?” Seungmin counters.
“You took, like, twenty shots last night. Don’t you remember?”
“Do you have brain damage? It’s your wedding day. Look—” Seungmin retrieves his phone from his pajama pocket and peers down at the screen as it lights up. “See? It’s September twenty…”
Seungmin feels the blood drain from his face as he sees “Friday, September 19” displayed on his screen. It is yesterday. Or yesterday is today. Yesterday was Friday, but today is Friday too.
Seungmin is reliving the same exact morning as the day before, down to the stubborn hangover and the surprise road trip. How is that even possible?
