Prince Aerion Targaryen once drank a cup of wildfire, convinced it would make him a dragon. It made him a corpse instead—briefly. Lesta-Ri had been Galactus' herald for centuries. Now, she had centuries to try to remember what she abandoned in exchange. The identity that trailed behind her like a shadow. The family that hid in the corners of her mind. The mere action of feeling something.
Johnny wasn't known for his patience, but strangely, he could be with the strange alien that lunged in his room almost everyday.
