Summary
It's Morax's birthday.
Morax had never been vocal about such a milestone, opting to keep the realization to himself. He was content with lighting some incense in a nice secluded spot in Liyue, such as Jueyun Karst, and reflecting on how long he had lived under the gentle light of the moon. However, despite his reluctance to draw attention to his birthday, it had never stopped others from celebrating it.
This year was no different as Barbatos had something in store for him.

So, this is fun. Sitting in a car with his best friend who has shot straight past pre-heat right into a full-throttled heat in the span of fifteen minutes is great. Definitely on the short list of Kojiro’s top life experiences. Definitely something he wants to experience again. Or, you know, would want to experience again if he were a complete masochist.
Kaoru came to him because he trusts him. The last thing Kojiro wants to do is violate that trust. But breathing shallowly through his mouth isn’t helping as much as he’d like; he keeps gulping down that scent, and it’s so fucking good, so fucking delicious. He wants it on his tongue.
When Kaoru's heat strikes unexpectedly at S, Kojiro helps him out, as friends do.
