Mermaid AU and royalty AU in one ;)When Salina, Princess of the Sea, is put to death by her tyrannous uncle King Oceanus - her young son, the sea's heir, Prince Perseus, escapes a similar fate. He escapes to the surface, to his father, a human, an *oblivious* human who knows nothing of the kingdom beneath the oceans nor what his child stands to inherit.
