Donghyuck whips out his phone, no doubt googling 'NCT127'. He scrolls for a minute, pausing and shoving the screen in Jaemin's face. "Think fast! Name."
Jaemin squints at the image. "Taeyong. If not then it's Jaehyun."
"Hopeless," the tanned boy laments. He returns to scrolling.
"Wait, so who was it?"
He's ignored. Another photo. "Name."
Ah, he knows this one. "Jeno."
"My god, what is this favouritism?"
He holds his hands up in defense. "Jeno's easy to spot. He's the hot one."
Donghyuck inspects the photo. "You're not wrong, I suppose," he surmises, and Mark looks affronted.

The spirit nods, lips stretching into the faintest of smiles, as if he is in on the joke. He looks out into the lake, and Woojin sees the mist reflected in his eyes.
"The lake of memories only appears to those who seek it," he replies fondly. "Those who wish to be rid of a memory write it on one of the many pebbles, throw it in and forget. Those who wish to be wise would search for stones to read, but the memory is then theirs to keep."
He then turns to Woojin, cloak billowing in his wake. "So tell me," he asks, gesturing to the older with an ease of formality beyond his years. "Which may you be?"

Hyungseob blinks, taken aback at the question, and quickly moves to deny it.
But even as he does, he starts as a wide, snaggletoothed smile flashes across his mind, images of impossibly blue skies and beaten dirt paths and fields that stretch as far as the eye could see. His words catch in his throat, and he hesitates. His gaze turns uncharacteristically soft.
“I did,” he realises.

“Then you wouldn’t mind,” Atsumu said, his voice a soft rasp, “if I held yer hand, right?”
Kiyoomi stared at Atsumu wide-eyed and open-mouthed. When Kiyoomi’s objection never came, Atsumu tentatively pressed his fingertips into the soft skin of Kiyoomi’s palm.
Kiyoomi’s hand trembled, but he did not pull away. Atsumu slowly threaded their fingers together until their hands were entirely intertwined, flush and warm. Atsumu’s eyes drifted to their joined hands and then back to Kiyoomi’s face. His eyes did not glimmer with mischief. They burned.
After watching his parents’ and siblings’ marriages all end in divorce, Kiyoomi is convinced any relationship of his is doomed to fail. All his life he’s successfully resisted the urge to act on his feelings, and he plans to keep it that way.
Until Atsumu holds his hand on a whim, and everything falls apart.
